Result to select that one ADF option allows to check read only table

I'm new on using ADF and try to understand some things.

Here's what I want to do.

On the same page, I want to select a choice and a reading not results table. I will fill the table only reading based on the result of the choice of a select. Can someone tell me what I need to do to make this work?

Or if there's an article out there that someone can tell me.

In this case,.
You create a read-only ViewObject (let's call it vo1) who will have something like: select distinct first_name of employees
Then, you create a link between that regular VO and VO employees based on the field name like join field.
Then you drag vo1 in a JSF page in a navigation list, and then you drag the employees in the Details vo area which lies beneath the vo1 in the data control palette.
That's all.

I have a simple page ADF that I dragged a field 'ADF select one choice' on. There a LOV tied to it. I've defined the field as required and given a message required to show. The question that this field shows it right when I save the record... and also not display any message or don't turn red. I was able to save the tgo record only the database field is filled in... I assumed that since I put the required field in the property inspector, he wouldn't store a blank field.

When I changed this area to a list of raising entry, then it behaved as expected.

Is this a bug with Jdeveloper... or just a bug with the developer (me) :).

I use the 11.1.1.3.o version.

I have an annoying problem with my all-in-one Deskjet F3335. I print a lot of documents on my printer. Rarely do I need to print anything in color.

Since the acquisition of a computer running Windows 7 (x 64), I was not able to print in "grayscale: black cartridge only" on my profile; the only option is 'high quality '. (see image below) I thought it was a systemic problem until printining something user profile on my husband. His profile will allow for me to select "black cartridge only."

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the software and updates. This did not help.

Hoping someone out there might have a suggestion for me on how to solve this problem (and stop wasting my color ink)! Thank you

As I understand it, you can change the printer to print in only black and white on a profile, but not on the other on the same computer. Is this correct?

This type of question usually depends on the permissions available on each profile. I would hazard a guess that your husband is a Director or that there privleges more than your own profile. I check to make sure that your account is set up as an administrator first.

Secondly, I would also check the 'Advanced' tab, that sometimes you can change the settings for printing color black and white or grayscale.

I created 2 rows by clicking on the button 'Add' twice, then I click a line lov, it returns the correct value.

When I switch to the second row and click component lov it give me above mentioned error and when I click on ok lov fills correctly.

You must complete the key attributes programmatically (and probably all other attributes required if there is)

Table has a composite key.

This is usually problem (af:inputListOfValues has problems if you use this component in editable af:table and VO a composite key).

As I said already, you probably should consider the use of read-only table and add/change the lines in a popup (or drop your VO also like shape on your page)

I'm using Idev 11 g
"ADF read-only Table" to list 5 records and 5 columns of data.

Records are displayed. BUT, off 5 Columns - a column cdate Date. and I want the USER to be able to update the Date column (don't forget that it's READ only table).

Issues related to the:

1 > 11 g what are the steps to convert this column to Date only in the form of input text so that the user can update the date

2 > ADF this SINGLE table DROP reading does NOT come with button submit automatically. Since then, if I am able to convert / and LET the user be able to change the DATE, THEN I should be able to PRESENT this table alone RERAD to update the DATE in the database. HOW can I optimize button "SUBMIT" for this TABLE READ ONLY gets presented WITH the new date. ??

Finally, BUT IMPORTANT. Suppose that I have to create a FORM WITH 5 ENTRIES TEXT. Actually I FORGOT TO select the CHECKBOX "AUTOMATICALLY LINK THE FORM INPUTS to BACKING BEAN OPTION" in the creation of JSF page.

Now, JSF page WAS created with the values of INPUT 5.

Now, I realized, oops I forgot select the Option 'Auto BIND.

Question: WHAT ARE THE STEPS, I IMPLEMENTED THE LATTER to POWER LINKING THESE 5 FIELDS of ENTRY of TEXT IN THE SUPPORT of the BEAN as PARAMETERS to BING?

Interesting... Check to see if it appears in another section of the property inspector. Otherwise, you can add links support bean 'manually' as follows:

(1) in the jspx page add a binding property to the tag af:inputText. Example:

backing_HrMain is in this case your backing bean and myINputText is the RichInputText variable in your backing bean

(2) in your bean support add the RichInputText variable myINputText and getter/setter for it. Example:

Private RichInputText myINputText.

External hard drive says its read-only and wont allow any changes

My IQ505a has an attached external USB drive which is a drive external drive USB Western Digital 3200JS, and for a reason that I am unable to make changes to the data on the disk because the system apparently marked the entire disk in "read-only" mode.

I put my account as an administrator and belong to the Group of Directors with all the usual permissions, except that I'm unable to disabled marking read-only on this drive.

I also tried to connect and make these changes with the administrator account, but nothing helped.

This problem is only with the external drive and not on the embedded player.

Any help would be most appreciated ith this issue frustrating.

Found this fix (solution?):

Go to the computer, do a right-click on the icon of the drive, properties, tools, check now. Uncheck the two boxes and click OK.

[ADF, JDev12.1.3] How to create a page that is read-only or allowing changes according to the menu by which item it is accessible?

I'd like to go to the page that contains an af:table of 2 different menus: "Edit/insert data" and "read data".
Is it possible to make a page that is read-only when the user accesses by "Read data" and that allows for changes when you access it through 'edit/insert data?
Or do I have to create 2 different pages?

If the menu is outside the region, you must pass a parameter in the area and read this parameter passed within the region. You cannot directly access the bean of expanded view of inside the workflow.

That uses a router within a workflow to decide which page to display based on the parameter. Using this solution you can easily implement your use case using two different pages to show the table, a read-only, and the other to change.

I have two select a choice .one attribute is to create without binding and another is based on the control of data .i don't want to write code in backing bean to make read-only attribute.

You can no longer use the method of the "simple field notation" If you change the field in certain situations. The following script assumes that you just want to add two fields and use 25% of this amount as your markup, unless the box named "CheckBox" is checked, then the field will become editable and you can enter what you want:

using 30 firefox in windows 7, I get a blank when you restart, if I don't have that one tab open when I close it.

I have my options set for firefox "open windows and tabs from last time", but whenever I don't have that one tab left open, I get a blank page. If I have several tabs, then it opens with the tab and windows.

There is always at least one open tab, if it didn't is no extensions installed that hide the bar tab in this case.
