Original image

What the heck is Factory Image?  Just 1.41 GB free on 12.9 GB.  Seems excessive to me.  I was wondering if this is normal?

This is what is used to reset your computer to the State that it was when you bought it if you need. It is not recommended to play with it.

  • Photos lost track of the original images

    I bought Aperture (my equivalent in local currency of 299 USD), then after that Apple stopped supporting the opening, I migrated to Apple pictures. Just today, I found that more than 500 photos imported from April 2016 are now show as zero KB in the Inspector. The original seem inaccessible to the Photos. The editing mode does not come when I click on 'Edit' and when I zoom to 100%, the image is rasterized.  I cannot determine the cause of this, but managed to find the original images on my drive, in the files managed by the pictures, and themselves do not appear to be corrupt. It seems that the pictures or its metadata the library software is broken. I tried to restart my Mac and the repair of the library three times (starting Photos while pressing the cmd and alt keys). That did not work. Please can you help me?

    In Photos preferences you have unchecked the preference for 'copy items imported to the photo library' (library management and the default and very highly recommended) or you have disabled this preference (a referenced library and strongly discouraged)

    How you import these photos and what? What format are they?

    Hello

    I'm working on a Pavilion P6000 desktop series (WW639AA).  Windows 7 (64 bit) does not load as it seems that his score is corrupt. I ordered a new restore disc (and additional floppy) HP to restore the hard disk.  I tested the hard drive and all past.  However, when I run the Recovery Manager and try to restore the computer, I get the following error:

    All of the suggestions.

    Thank you.

  • Original image is no longer on here

    Hello

    Have an HP Pavilion desktop model # p6257c.

    Around Thanksgiving, it crashed & then on New Years.

    How to bring back this part of the computer?

    In addition, still cannot back up discs (even though I followed the advice of DP - K here) & now I'm the administrator of the computer.

    I can make records of music, so the player doesn't work for this.

    This is the error message I get from Windows trying to back up: Error Code 0 x 1000019. Backup did not complete.

    Then he said: I have files waiting to be copied, the next time I start the computer. I click on this & nothing is there.

    Sometimes windows online about came & said it is a snapshot, and then crashes, stops & restarts.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.    Kathleen

    Hello

    If your original image is no longer on your PC, you can try a different brand of disc, if this does not work you can take it to a local pc repair shop, to back up the data. You need to get the recovery disk from the manufacturing to the unit and run a disk recovery it will take off the bone and re install... He'll recover Island pc back to factory settings which should put back your original image on unit.

  • After the system recovery complete original image

    Win 7 Desktop was unstable after a few years, and I wasn't able to run a successful restoration to any number of restore points, so just yesterday, I backed it up and ran the recovery of the system of internal recovery option in the Recovery Manager and not from disks.

    The process was nice and smooth, but in 'My computer', I noticed that my original image on the D drive already appears almost complete and wonder if this is the case?

    It shows only 327 MB 10.7 GB free space.

    My concern is it will be full in no time and leaves no room for new info in case it is always necessary.

    So my question is, or the original image is correct as this is what I have to do something now, even if it means another recovery?

    Thanks for the tips

    You are the very welcome

    Happy computing!

  • Rebuilt again drive with the original image, goes into infinite boot loop

    Hello

    I'm going crazy!
    I have a laptop (abook), with a new disk in it, because the former was getting bad sectors. I managed to save the data, including the RECOVERY partition. Now, I'm trying to rebuild the image of the factory of this partition on the drive to get a clean computer.
    To do this, I try to use imagex.
    However, whenever I install the image on an own C: drive, I get infinite loops of starting, with repair system errror messages varies, but is noosloader. Startup Repair or BCDedits does not work.
    To make things worse, I ordered the laptop with Windows 7 64 bit edition Home premium ed, but the original image contains Vista Home premium.
    What should be my plan of action? I tried to reformat and install the image several times and am hard to run out of ideas.

    the recovery partition to reinstall vista operating system failure, not a disk failure lasts

    a disk failure hard it is why the computer manufacturer would recommend to make recovery disks

  • restoration of original image

    I have a laptop with vista hp, have had a lot of problems trying to download the updates of windows and have nothing on the machine that I miss. tried to reformat hard drive and restore to original image, the process starts but after a minute or two, it says error and stops and I do not have the os disc

    If you continue to have problems with the resumption of the process of factory settings, you will need to contact the manufacturer.
    It is their software/recovery process, not Microsoft.

    How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them how to properly use the recovery on your computer/laptop Partition to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    You can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
    They will tell you how to do this.
    Every computer manufacturer has their way of doing recovery disk/s.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

    Hello

    the configuration of the audit Panel, I noticed that factory image (D :) showed red disk volume indicator, the screen said 599 MB of free space with a capacity of 8.5 GB.   Is this what can I do to get more space, to be honest I don't know what the drive stores.

    This is used if you ever want to restore your computer to how it was when you bought it. You should not try to store all files into it.

    If you have not deliberately saved all of the files on this subject, you can ignore the fact that he blushed. If you suspect that something has been stored on it, you can use this HP article, by replacing references to the recovery of the original image.

    I have that remove this partition, you lose the ability to restore Windows 7 in the way it was when you first turned on the computer. It would be considered a method of the module fail safe to reinstall Windows 7 all other methods will stop working.

    The partition of the original Image must take a very small amount of your entire hard drive space.

  • ORIGINAL IMAGE REQUEST

    I am running windows 7 Home premium on two different computers.  When you view a jpeg image, I click on "view original image" and the image becomes

    sharper on one computer, but not on the other.  Y at - it a microsoft application that I can download that will add this feature to my computer

    which does not offer this feature?

    Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

    There are all sorts of programs that allows to view and edit images.  I think that the default program in Windows 7 Home Premium is the Windows Photo Viewer.  You can tell what is used by looking at the top left of the window.  A program that you can download for free is the Windows Live Photo Gallery to

    http://search.microsoft.com/en-us/results.aspx?form=MSHOME&setlang=en-us&q=windows%20live%20download .

    There are all sorts of other programs if one of those above does not fill the Bill.  To name a few he's Picassa, Print Shop Pro, IrfanView, Paint Shop Pro, and Roxio Creator.

    Good luck.
