After that, I connected the hard drive of my laptop. then after Microsoft Office icons are not showing in correctly. its unknown icon of projection. but my office applications work properly. Can I recharge the icons as a same as before. I use office 2003.

  I don't know if it will work in these conditions, but you can try to rebuild the icon cache:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/117229-icon-cache-rebuild.html.

  If it does not, go to Windows Explorer and check C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Office\ (at this point I don't know what he could tell - perhaps Office 11 or something like that - because I don't have any more than the desktop version and I forgot how the folder structure is named - but you want the folder containining (, all the program icons to start the Office programs) and see if the executable program icons have changed as well.  If not, right-click on each one and then click on create a shortcut (desktop) - do it twice, so you will have one for the office and another to replace the one that is not going to start (and how much more you need based on the number of shortcut icons that you have).  If the icons of the programs also display incorrectly.

  If it does not, then there is no specific functionality of Ofice 2003 (or later versions) to simply change the icons to their original forms.  Try the repair Office option in the:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821593.  One of the options included (that can be verified) is to restore the desktop shortcuts and which can solve the problem.

• Word 2007 toolbars icons not showing - icon Cache problem?

  Announcement on behalf of my brother, he is using Word 2007 and is having a problem that when it opens, all the toolbars that are normally he presents, however, they have no icons.

  For example, he can click on the white square where the B for "BOLD" should be and it works fine, however the B is not there, the same for every icon on the tool bar, there the dropdown list font size, but not the icon saying size etc. Since he knows not all icons on all toolbars out of heart he has trouble using the program now.

  I was wondering if this could be a problem with the Office/Word icon Cache, but I don't have any idea how to solve this problem, in this case.

• Need help - problem with the installation of the Office

  I really hope that someone can help as I have spent HOURS trying to solve this thing with Palm Desktop (DP). My family lives and breathes out of this Palm.

  First of all, I have a Palm Treo phone for half of the year, but a user palm for 4-5 years. I used Datebk6 with absolutely no problem. About three months ago my phone got wet and shorted dirty keyboard. I ordered a new keyboard, installed, and everything was fine. Not sure if this is related, but mentioning the bears.

  Then a few weeks, something has happened. I'm not sure if I've updated something or another user of the computer in the House has done something. Palm desktop, account opening, two icons on the left side of "Palm Desktop" - media and install. No calendar, notes, tasks, all functions that I use. I couldn't print calendars more.

  So first, I uninstalled the Democratic Party amd reinstalled the period off the drive. The Democratic Party looked decent with a calendar, etc., but this version had the "quick installation". When I installed the version on the net which solves the problem of Vista 6.2.2 he placed all my third party apps in an incompatible "apps" folder and the Democratic Party shows install yet once just the icons and media. Once again, no calendar, tasks, memos. However, the phone and its applications still worked OK, everything was there - then...

  I thought that maybe the problem is hotsync during initial installation, so I reset the phone to the original factory settings (erased). Distributed with uninstall and reinstall and it happened again. DARM duration with just the media and install it. No option to open an archive. Previous versions the Democrats have the calendar etc, but of course now without any data. Version 6.2.2 has no calendar, tasks, todo etc.

  I need help. someone at - it suggestions? Where can I go? I need this problem.

  maramac - check if the UAC has been reactivated (User Account Control).  I read in other posts that these latest Windows updates have reactivated UAC on PC of some people of.

  This could also cause the problem you are experiencing.

• help-problems with Mac book since the upgrade to Yosemite

  I have a 13 "Macbook, end of 2010. It is used to run perfectly until I installed Yosemite in late 2014 when he started to run slowly and Safari would crash. The problems have got worse with each update. Now when I boot, I get a white screen with a progress downstairs bar and it may take between 1-3 minutes before I get the logon screen. Programs also take a long time to load and I constantly get the rotation beach ball.  I don't have any external hardware attached and am does not have any software that needs to use a lot of RAM.   Hello.. so here is the problem - I turned off the tap for the mouse... I type always accidentally things when I don't want to, so it is important to me that it is turned off.  The problem is that once the computer starts, it takes literally about 10 minutes for that to happen... In other words, tapping is enabled for a solid 10 minutes EVEN IF I SEE THAT it IS TURNED OFF!  This is my 2nd model of this computer - my first had a pixel died, so I returned it, but he did not have this problem (weird!).  Any ideas?   You can right click on the pointing device icon in the taskbar (bottom right of the clock) and go to the Properties section of the owners SW to massively reduce the sensitivity of the action of tapping until point of him not to recognize taps.

• Perhaps a BIOS need help problem

  So I have problems with my computer now and days where it crashes / blue screens, and he will give me options to try to recover my PC since the last accident, when I try to choose another option of recovering the BIOS itself it freezes my computer in this case, I see the 30 second timer it gives you and freezes as soon as I select a different option, or press "Enter". So I looked for my current version of bios and found is (American Megatrends Inc. 6.02, 21/07/2010) for my card mother-N-Alvorix-RS880-formfat (Alvorix) and I found this current version of (N-Alvorix-RS880 Motherboard BIOS BIOS update; Exit the: 2011-09-23) on the site, but knowing how some of these things may be, I'm worried that it might be a different motherboard BIOS and I can't turn my motherboard Clipboard. Can someone help me?

  I worked with this problem for a while.  I finally got "Help and Support" in Services', I could start to "Help and Support" by going to "c:\windows\pchealth\binaries" and double click on "helpctr.exe" began and all the parts I used to work here very well.

  I can't even start it from the 'Help' menu or the menu 'start '.  Same error message as above.  Frustration, I created a batch file to open "Help and Support" I called him 'help.bat '.

  It reads this: cd\windows\pchealth\helpctr\binaries

  begin to helpctr.exe

  It runs from this batch file, that I placed on my desk.  I suspect a registry problem which I think is the cause of the problem in the first place, caused by a cleaning program, that I must have run.

  No matter how many times I click on help to repair 'get' or 'internet research' buttons, nothing happens.  If I have X everything seems to work normally.

  I read on the net that it is a virus, Trojan or a bot, so I'm worried.

  I am running AMD Phenom X 4 9100e quad core with Vista premium OS in a gateway RS780 MB.  I have Norton 2009, also recently installed (just before SP2). Everything is fully operational.  All scans clean.  Windows Defender analysis reveals nothing but the problem continues.  Several times a day.

  Looks like a DLL file missing (SHLWAPI.dll) or the missing link between the Dynamic link Library & the registry entry. You should try to run the System File Checker tool, see below:

  To help resolve this problem, use the tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally made programs, Accessories, right-click guest, and then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.
  2. Type the following command and press ENTER: sfc/scannow (Yes there is a space after sfc) the sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

• Help: Problem of "PAPERLESS".

  I have a T410 with windows 7. I was working this morning and my printer worked very well. Suddenly, it displays a message 'PAPER-FREE, but there is paper in the tray. I put more in, restarted the printer, restarted the computer, all without success. I then tried to print the document to a different printer. Once again this printer has told 'NO PAPER' no matter what I did with this printer, the message kept occurring. I tried to print another type of document, not print. So I sent the file, I needed a colleague to print on the printer printing. And she tried to print on the printer a got a message "PAPERLESS", despite the fact that she was using his printer. Can anyone help? Or tell me who to go for help? I have a MacAfee update and it finds no problems.
