Paper a7 support?

Hello. I use Win 7 and I have a new printer Photosmart 7510 and I would use envelopes and paper of the A7.  I see selections of paper A5, A6 and other choices, but have not A7 on the list. Is there a way to get the paper A7?  PS, this is my 3rd HP printer and it's great.  More features than my old printer 7960.  Thanks for your help.

I managed to print on card stock A7 paper using 'B5 (ISO)"that the selection of printer paper.  Paper a7 is 7 "x 10", and the selection of B5 (ISO) is 6.93 "x 9.84".  Hope this helps someone else to try to print the cards.

  • HP OfficeJet X451dw - no printing double-sided on A5 paper

    Hello

I recently received this printer for Christmas. The printer works fine and fast perfectfully! But the only problem I have with this is that it would not print duplex (double-sided printing) on A5 paper, but with A4 - it works fine.

Also, the printer is network related and there is software of administration Console installed on the server that allows the administrator to change the settings of the printer, checking the ink cartridge and etc...

    Much help would be appreacted!

    Thank you very much

    Hi Ben,

Which should, A5 is not supported for automatic duplex printing.

You can find any paper sizes supported on page 59 of the guide user below:

  • PSC 2175 does not feed photo paper along the

I'm reposting this since it's day of HP experts.

I'm having a recurring problem with my HP psc 2175 all-in-one. When I insert any sort of thicker paper in it, it prints fine up until the last 4/5 or so of the page. Then it gets stuck and no paper feed send all further. It starts the drop of ink on itself, creating a dark band. When it's over, I have to draw on paper. At the moment I'm having the problem with Kodak Premium Photo Paper. I had the same problem before with card stock. In all cases, I make sure to set the paper type in the Preferences dialog box before you print it. What can I do? This printer is old enough, and I hope that this is not done for!

    Hello AubreyRhea,

Please check whether your paper meets the requirements of your unit, you can check out HERE. Scroll down to the paper form to see if your paper is supported. Which can help as well use paper HP Advanced, which has a grainy backside and is easier to find the printer. You can also try cleaning the collection of paper rolls if yu can reach with a damp cloth, please make sure that the device is not connected to the power outlet when you do and allowing to dry enough before connecting again.

  • print paper 240 grams

don't keep just locking paper printing 240 grams. less paper weighted is OK help!

    Thank you

I notified the moderator of Forums of HP and asked that they remove your serial number. I appreciate all the information that you have provided, but only the serial number is unique to your printer and to your private life, should not be posted on a public forum.

Here is a graph of your printers specifications which shows 240 grams is not a taken paper size supported.

That explains why you have so much trouble. weight 240 will be jam because she is too much for the rollers of the printer pull through, they are just not strong enough!

If there is anything else I can help with that feel free to post back. I follow gladly with you. I hope this solves your request.

  • 5742 HPOficejet e-all-in-one: retain default printer Fax and Photo paper tray

    Hello.

The printer keeps failing for FAX and paper in the photo tray.  How can I fix this in windows Vista?

    Hello @Vanessa3,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that when you print from your Windows Vista-based computer to your HP Officejet 5742 e-all-in-one printer the screen 'Fax' is popping up and the incorrect paper tray / support is selected. I would like to help you today to address these issues. If the "Send faxes" window appears only when you print to a specific program, there is probably a setting must be adjusted under this specific programme. If this is the case, what program are you a victim of problems when printing?  If the 'Send of Fax' window is popping up under all programs that you print from your computer, it is likely that the wrong printer is selected as the default printer in the printers and devices window. Can I please you follow the steps below to fix this problem.

    Set the default printer:

    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. Select the devices and printers or Printers (you may need to access it via Control Panel)
    3. Under the Printers folder, locate your HP Officejet 5742 e-all-in-one. This printer should display a green check mark above to indicate that it is the default printer.
    4. If your Fax-HP Officejet 5742 e-all-in-one shows like check mark on this subject, please right click on HP Officejet 5742 e-all-in-one (printer) and left click on "default".

Once the correct printer has been confirmed as the default printer please test print to confirm that the 'Fax' problem is solved.

Once solve us the problem of Fax, we will be able to adjust your print settings to confirm that your printer is configured to print on the correct paper and with appropriate support tray.

How to check the paper tray settings:

    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. Select the devices and printers or Printers (you may need to access it via Control Panel)
    3. Under the Printers folder, locate your HP Officejet 5742 e-all-in-one
    4. Right click on the HP Officejet
    5. Left click on Printing Preferences
    6. On the paper/quality tab, make sure that the Paper Source is set to main tray
    7. Also, ensure that the media is set on plain white paper (if that's what you print on)
    8. Click apply and OK
    9. Close the Printers folder
    10. Try to print a document to confirm that your HP Officejet prints from the correct tray.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. I can't wait to hear strings attached good luck!

What size paper more big, that I can use with this printer envy 5532

    Hi @traciekm,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I noticed you're wondering what is the largest size paper you can print using the HP Envy 5532. I'm happy to take a look for you!

According to your specifications of the printer, the paper sizes supported include:

  • HP 8630 OfficeJet Pro print double-sided on legal size paper

I just bought a HP OfficeJet Pro 8630 can I print successfully on each Board standard size paper and print on legal paper (from each drawer).  I can print one side, but the driver seems not to allow the duplex legal communication.

I tried in all stores (I have read on the set 2 only for plain paper, but as I understand it, which applies only to the brilliant vs plain and not of different paper sizes).  In any case, I put my legal paper in Tray 1 and set tray on shift, and the default for tray 2, which seems that it will be a good idea in the future, when we use envelopes, etc.

But...  The problem that I'm having it is when I go to the printer properties dialog box, if I use duplex printing either on the long edge or short, the legal (and most other choices for paper sizes) have a yellow/triangle exclamation point icon and if I ignore the warning to resolve differences, which either don't let me out of the modal dialog box , or it will just print single-sided anyway.

I can't find someone else complain that duplex printing legal size does not work, it seems as it should be, but I am at a loss of the configuration of the printer to make it work.  Any ideas?  Success stories?

I use the latest firmware (FDP1CN1416AR, patch, version 0) and the driver (just downloaded, can't figure out how to get the actual number of installed version)

    Thank you.

    Hello

The duplex accessory does not support Legal paper size, it is an expected behavior.

You can perform manual duplex printing using Pages of print options to print the odd pages only, then replace the printed sheets and send other pages even only... the Pages of print options print job is under print options > Layout > advanced.

You can find the printer specifications below, check the duplexer column according to the specifications of paper output > paper sizes supported:

  • HP Envy 5300: cat

    Hello:

I'm interested in placing the text on the page using printer HP Envy series 5530.

Size of my stationery is 6 1/4 "x 9", but closer to you in the settings of Advanced Document 5300 is 8 "x 10".  Just choose this option, and then adjust the margins of MS Word / until things font size print OK?

Seems the painstaking process because once you select 'print' in MS Word, preview of files before printing, i.e. If want to look with different paper formats, in Advanced Document settings, first of all. I missing something here, or is this the only way?

    Thank you

    Hi @mjd_vmd,

Thank you for joining the HP Forums!

I understand you are trying to print on stationery 6 1/4 "x 9" with your printer HP Envy 5530. I am pleased to see that for you!

According to the Specifications of the printer, it is a paper size not supported for this printer. The paper sizes supported are:

    Letter - 216 x 279 mm (8.5 x 11)

    10 x 15 cm (tab) - 100 x 150 mm (3.9 x 5.9 in)

    Japanese postcard - 100.1 x 148.1 mm (3,94 x 5.83 in)

As a possible workaround, you can try to assign another driver, following the instructions of Windows 8 in this post How to assign drivers to Print in different Versions of Windows, by @Shane_R. As they work on Windows 10. And then you can try a custom paper size.

Otherwise, please use the paper sizes supported as shown above.

If it helps, please consider clicking on "accept as a solution." And, please click the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

Hope this information is useful and have a beautiful day!

  • 8600 all-in-one... I can print tray enveolpes 2?

Cannot print envelopes from tray 2... Why not?

    Hello

2ns tray is used only for plain paper. You can find listed in the paper below output specifications:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02858465

So you can find the category of paper sizes supported that list only letter, LEGAL and A4, supported size for the 2nd tray.

You can place envelopes on the 1st shelf and your daily paper on the 2nd tray for use of Daix.

    Kind regards
