Pavilion S5610y motherboard

My HP desktop computer crashed today. The motherboard is shot and it is a fairly new computer. The repairman told me to contact HP, because there is a known issue with desktop Pavilion. Hp website has information that the company knows that this is a common problem. My serial number is between people identified by HP as after having been sold with the defective part. There is information on the site that HP shipped advice of mother of replacement for consumers with serial numbers in the range of manufacture on my desk. An hour on the phone with customer service was sterile and I was told that if he didn't plant in 2013, I was out of luck. So I paid for it, I think it's inexcusable. HP knows she sold these and they do not work... It does not matter that he was not in the year of the manufacturer's warranty. I bought a lot of HP products over the past decades. I bought a lot of hp printers and still spend $60 or more per month on the printer ink. I can assure you after this experience, I will never buy a product hp of any kind again nor will be my business or my husbands business. I am very disappointed that I would be sold an office with a very substandard faulty motherboard and this company will do nothing to correct their error.

Thank you very much. I had better customer service here than in the call center. I had almost finished, making the taxes not only myself, but other members of the family. I have a week and a half to three months of work to do before the 15th. It is the root of my frustration. I was contacted today and advised that flags are more like net jobs books and must be powered off often to refresh. I had no idea that I have not bought a desktop computer that can handle personal and business part time use. Thanks again for the shipping of my problem. Any resolution is impossible before my tax deadlines, but I at least have a way to get it fixed and will not lose as much money.

No matter what I did, the laptop does not start or respond to a door.

I was wondering how much it cost me to get a replacementet for the motherboard, or if it can be fixed. I know this laptop is a bit old, but it's a great model and brand new and I want to know if it is reasonable to make it work again.

  • How to install a replacement on my HP Pavilion p5357c motherboard?

I need to replace a faulty motherboard (like many of those who have bought with this pc motherboard) with the same brand and type of origin. The computer is a HP Pavilion p5357c and I find a way extravagant different information.

What is the exact error that you only had/get? Have you tried different data and records of power cables or a new power supply?

Many have suggested it is questions m/b, but most are resolved by replacing the HARD drive. Mothers only I know who may have known problems related to undetected drives are the HP/Pegatron M2N78 - LA series. Overheating possible and/or "cold welding" on the chipset.

Other motherboards that may have problems are the N-Alvorix-RS880-formfat (Alvorix) and IPMTB-TK (Truckee) motherboard, but not IPIEL-A3 (Eureka3).

  • Stuck trying to install vista OEM on HP Pavilion with motherboard replaced

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion with Vista pre-installed OEM. The machine is out of warranty HP and it was purchased while I lived in the United States. I am now back home in the United Kingdom. In any case, the motherboard is dead (common fault on the model of machine, I got) so I replaced and got Vista working again by using the product key that is stuck to the case. Vista then I messed up with a virus and so I trashed it and tried to re - install using the rescue partition and backup discs that I created. None of these options do know as changed the motherboard. I now put Linux on the machine and most of the time, Miss me not Vista. However, my son has an Ipod Touch who needs ITunes and used to run Linux. Yes, there was one I can get vista's new media and reinstall vista, and then turn on again? Really, I can't justify buying a new copy of Windows, so I have a valid license and that you need to run ITunes.

It makes me feel a little cranky. HP are without help, beyond their warranty period.

    See you soon.

In this case, because it is only a replacement for any problem with HP Recovery Software/process, contact HP.

    Perhaps you misspelled the designation.
The motherboard is listed in the specifications as an ASUS A8M2N - LA. The name of HP's NodusM3-GL8E. I saw this motherboard listed on EBay at reasonable prices. Wil you need to install an identical motherboard if your goal is to use all the components (including the OS, the memory and CPU) of your PC.

  • Pavilion a6838f Motherboard

I plan to replace the motherboard of this computer.

After this upgrade, the parties only stocks will be case, hard disk and dvd player.

I wonder what motherboards will be adapted on the case (in particular, this: Asus B85M - G MB).

Does anyone know if all the screws and all the corresponding stuff?

    Dagengster, welcome to the forum.

HP has their motherboards made specifically to meet their needs.  The motherboard of the computer is a micro ATX (9.6 "x 9.6").  The motherboard in the link you provided is a micro ATX, but it is 9.2 "x 7.6".  This is a major difference.  It is difficult to say if it will match the hole configuration.

I suggest that you call the ASUS Customer Service to see if they can tell you if it will fit.  This could save you money on shipping.

Please, click on "Thumbs Up +" if I helped you and click "Accept as Solution" If your problem is resolved.

  • Pavilion a6112x1 Motherboard upgrade

I would like to upgrade the motherboard and Proccesor and food will be the new mother boards work?

If not can you recommend a quad core and motherboard proccessor

    I currently have a 64 x 2 4000 2.10 ghz its really outdated for today's software

I couldn't find a reference to a HP a6112x, a6112.fr also was not a match. That said, lets discuss.

When you replace a different motherboard, you cease to be an OEM OS license.

    (1) the purchase of a new OS (you probably had Vista), in my humble OPINION a detail of Win 7 Professional OS . $258

    (2) 630-650W $ 70-115 POWER SUPPLY

    (3) then a motherboard and GPU?

New quad core HP, WIN 7 start of price to $520-920 (3 models)

When installing a new graphics card, the wire came individual of the wifi chip.  How could this be fixed?  It seems to have been set on the plant, but it is so small it's hard to say.

    Your answers are appreciated.

    Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion p6710f. According to the specification, your computer uses a card 802.11 b/g/n Wireless PCI - e mini half-length. My p6787c using the same adapter wireless... see photo below;
