PeopleSoft service hung on starting

Hi all

FSCM90 and 8.49 MS SQL server tools,

I have the following in the Windows event log:

Event ID: 7022

PeopleSoft \FSCM90PT84920SQL service hung on starting

And in tuxedolog:

CMDTUX_CAT:827: ER - ROR: fatal error occurred; launch the user error handler

And indeed, process scheduler does not start as a service (Application Server starts fine) when to restart Windows server. Then I looked for it on oracle.com support and found and applied:

DOC - ID 1265660.1

Fixing this problem requires changing some values in the registry and rebooting the machine.

1. run the registry (regedit) editor.

2. under the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE subtree, go to the following subkey:

\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\SubSystems\Windows

The default data for this value will look like the following (all on one line):

%SystemRoot%\system32\csrss.exe ObjectDirectory = \Windows

SharedSection = 1024, 3072 Windows = SubSystemType = Windows

ServerDll = basesrv, 1 ServerDll = winsrv:UserServerDllInitialization, 3

ServerDll = winsrv:ConServerDllInitialization, 2 ProfileControl = Off

MaxRequestThreads = 16

Users will need to make the following change to this value:

Scan the along the line until you access the part that defines the SharedSection values and add ', 1024' after the second number.

But the problem is not resolved.

Any idea?

Thank you

Hi Nicolas,.

No, when the Windows service is started manually it ends completely. We receive the message Windows 1053.

If Windows lo we 7011 (timeout):

Delay (30000 milliseconds) waiting for a response from the service transaction.

Start to ProcessScheduler and application servers.

Thank you and best regards.

  • Can someone tell me what this means? Keep appearing from time to time: unknown service (port 266877) starts on your Mac.

    Here's the whole thing:

    An unknown service (port 266877) starts on your Mac.

    If you do not change the settings of the firewall, the firewall blocks the connection to other computers

    to this service on your Mac.

    Then, there are these choices

    Allow all connections to this service.

    Allow local network connections.

    Deny all connections to this service.

    Do not change firewall connections.

    SBN application > launched

    Port 26877 (unknown service)

    Is there an Ant Norton/Symantec software installed on your Mac?

    If so, my suggestion is that you uninstall the Norton software according to the seller instructions to uninstall.

    Best.

    Hi jtorbert,

    Friend of me has had the same problem and it could solve the problem by deleting this file:
    "C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\R oaming\PeerNetworking\idstore.sst".

    This file has something to do with the PNRP service and after deletion it will be re-created. Generally, this service should work correctly after deleting this file.

  • I can't install it last update for itunes on my pc. When I try and download it and it's over, he said, "Apple mobile device service couldn't start. Check that you have sufficient privileges to start system services. »

    I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times and that does not work, I simply get the same result.

    I start to download, through all the steps and when it is ready to be finished install it says in a pop-up, "Apple mobile device service couldn't start. Check that you have sufficient privileges to start system services. »

    Right-click on the downloaded installer and use run as administrator.

    For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

    The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

    Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.

    More information area has direct links with the current and recent buildings if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with QuickTime software or a third party.

    Backups of your library and device should be affected by these measures but there are links to backup and recovery advice there.

    Thank God!

    Finally, I worked it out myself. But it's painful to watch than virtually any other that Uday has responded to my problem. Something I've been waiting for so eagerly.

    I applied my common sense and defragmented the dirives then sfc/scannow, and it worked. Cryptographic Services said when I began to log in as network account. So my problem is solved. Now, windows update works fine.

    Interestingly, Microsoft Fix it, says it cannot start the Cryptographic Services. Are God, while the _____ you supposed to difficulty? It made Internet Explorer icon on my desktop and other places.

  • Political group customer service couldn't start - how to solve this problem? The latest in a series of problems.

    For completeness, I'll give the full story here. We have a computer that is running Windows Vista Edition Home Premium. The other morning, following an update of Windows and reboot, when the user tried to connect it receives the message "user profile Service service has no logon. User profile cannot be loaded.

    We took the advice online to log in with an administrator account and change the parameter of the register for the profile, reseting certain values to 0. We have also followed the instructions to remove the ntuser.dat file. However, we have not find a file that was just ntuser.dat. They also had the long series of numbers after them, apparently, which indicates that they are temporary files.

    After several attempts to fix it, she now gets a different error when it tries to connect: "customer service group strategy was able to start.

    It can log on to the account in safe mode, and I can connect on his computer using his account from my computer on the same home network with no problems.

    We tried to copy the directory of the user to a new profile, except for the ntuser.dat file, as suggested by using Windows. It took a good 5-6 hours to copy, and the new profile seems to be heavily watered. None of its setting have been postponed, webshots will not run, Firefox keeps asking if she wants to set as the default browser even after she told him Yes every time, and it cannot access the settings of user accounts in the new profile. Its almost as if he's really the administrator permissions, even if the accounts and users control panel shows it does.

    We know that two other things were when the Windows update that caused the recovery occurred; iTunes was a large download, and Symantec is running a regular security sweep. Safety analysis showed that continuing execution, but was no progress. After consulting a few forums of Symantec, we managed to cancel the process and uninstall Symantec, which may be the only way to stop the analysis. Apparently active Symantec scans are known to cause errors in the connection profile. However, this has not fixed the problem.

    When connect us to access in safe mode and look at the advanced user account settings, profiles include two profiles with his original user name. Basic user accounts list shows only one. I have no idea what it means.

    His profile has now ntuser.dat file. However, we cannot copy or delete it - its used by the system. We can also restore a previous version of the file ntuser.dat - apparently it isn't getting saved in archive (probably for the same reason, we cannot delete or copy).

    We tried to do a restore of the system since the start of the day. It was while he was still the "user profile service failed", but before the "political group customer service could not start.

    We have done sfc/scannow. He said that some files were corrupt, but he could not fix them. I couldn't understand what files it thought were corrupt.

    The Client Services group does not run when I see him the original profile in Mode safe. However, I don't know if it's supposed to be running in Mode safe or not. There is no way to start; to start or stop options are shaded out and unselectable. The Group Services Client IS running when I check with a different profile on the system.

    Would appreciate a fix for this, or at least a way to create a new profile that covers all sound settings and didn't result in a complete disaster.

    I think we have this resolved. Unfortunately, there was some steps as long as I'm not sure which were needed. It includes:

    * The instructions here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-security/user-profile-service-service-failed-the-logon-user/4ed66b21-c23e-42f1-98b2-706dcf931fae

    (change of some registry entries for the profile)

    Uninstall of Symantec, which had an automatic scan which had been interrupted and was stuck not being able to complete or be cancelled.

    * The final bit of trouble who worked was (hope I get this right):
    (1) delete the registry as indicated above.
    (2) rename the profile folder.
    (3) restart the computer and let it create a new profile folder with the same name.
    (4) copy the files newly created to the old profile profile's ntuser.
    (5) by removing the new profile and rename the old profile back.

    And now things seem to be working, if she had to re-run Setup on some programs.

  • HPWSProAdapter service does not start

    After last MS Security patches application (February, 2013) on a Server Windows 2008 R2 HOSTS, HPWSProAdapter service could not start.

    "The HPWSProAdapter service failed to start due to the following error:

    Service has failed to demand launch or timely control.

    "A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) waiting for the HPWSProAdapter service to connect."

    This error is leaving me with some latest status "Device communications error" HP printers because they depend on this service to HPWSProAdapter.

    Any idea?

    Open the registry, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\HPWSProAdapter

    Change multiple channels environment

    Insert COR_PROFILER = {03191964-0505-1966-BD0E-E92B0C04964F}

    so it will look like this;

    COR_ENABLE_PROFILING = 1
    COR_PROFILER = {03191964-0505-1966-BD0E-E92B0C04964F}

  • Help and Support service will not start

    Nice day

    I use Windows XP Professional on my laptop HP DV9000.

    When I try to open the help and support service, I get a message saying "Windows cannot open help and support because a system service is not ongoing enforcement. To resolve this problem, start the service named 'help and Support." »

    I searched many websites for more information about this problem without success.

    I tried to locate the program itself and once again without success.

    I did nothing to my laptop in some time (months) and have installed SP3.

    I tried to follow the instructions in my research, I hope, it's enough to find help here.

  • Supported Bluetooth Service does not start

    The service above will not start. When an attempt is made to run, it says that the service did not timely. I tried put it back, with no joy.

    Windows XP SP3, which seems to be the culprit

    EDIT: The user is using a Bluetooth Dongle. It works fine on other machines. The problem seems to be the service won't start do not. When the bluetooth network device is double-clicked, it says: an unexpected error has occurred, contact your system administrator

    Hi Kim,

    In fact, I had not to restart my machine change just as you said and then start the service manually. It worked and no reboot is necessary, I also change it to automatic. I use Win 7 Professional.

    Hi Diddy Dell,

    Follow these methods.

    Method 1: Performs a search using the Microsoft safety scanner.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.
