Photosmart 6520 does not print text in black.

Photosmat 6520 will not print in black.  Cleaned up the wind of the cartridge and ran maintenance twice.  Test page, all the colors OK and text was correctly printed in black.  However, in attempts to print the text later, printer would not print in black.

Almost enough money has been spent for the ink to try to correct the problem, as well as the cost of travel for the purchase of new cartridges, to pay for a new printer.  Therefore, I decided to remove the printer.  I was never as happy with it anyway.  I din't print a lot, but when I print, more ink is used in the maintenance process for the printed book.  Once again, you guys have been great, and I really appreciate your efforts to help me with the problem.

    My new black ink no longer works on the printer.  This seems to be a problem throughout all of the printers HP no matter what model.  Did someone with similar problems had success getting their black to print despite all recommendations of manufacturing without success?  I have my printer just over a year.  I think it's ridiculous that a product falls down that quickly for money which is devoted to this topic.  I called HP for technical support and after doing all the things, he recommended that he told me that my printer is broken... is no longer under warranty... but he will sell me gladly one handed to nine for more than the cost I would pay if I bought it new from Amazon.  I trust is no longer the product... Why would I want one handed to nine?  Just looking for more tips out there who may have worked for others, before going out and buying an Epson.

    Had same problem, went out and bought new cartridges ink and all but worked black, what to do, throw it in the trash? or have a go at fixing, because I had just spent more than $90 on new cartridges, I thought I'd be there is attachment.

    To cut a long story short, that I managed to detach, scratching the dining room in the process, wife not impressed! puledl the ink outside, white liquor dispenser put spray gave him a good squirt, put back together, it now works like a new! Yay! Geez I'm so smart.

    I see that you have trouble with your black ink.

    Please ensure that you have completed all of the steps described in the following document; Printer cannot print black ink or color ink, or prints blank Pages. Although I hope that this solves the problem, he couldn't. As you have a 6520, if the problem persists, I would suggest appellant HP support by phone even if the printer is out of warranty you may need a replacement printer. The number of call HP is 1-800-474-6836 for the Canada and the United States, or you can Contact HP worldwide.

    Hello, my printer aged 2 years does not want to print in black for 1 week. I tried everything to solve the problem is : head cleaning cartridges, printer reset , purchasing new ink cartridges ( ink hp orininal ) color settings when printing , diagnostic problem with the software hp ( scandoctor ? ) etc. Despite all my printer does print in color .When the test print all colors except black are there and when I try to print , half the time the pages are either white or did that a computer imprimé.Mon of sentence under Windows 8.1 , but this was never a problem.

    Previously, the printer was very good in all aspects, including wireless printing. But now it will not print from an iPad iOS 8 or a computer laptop windows 8. It printed before the iPad even on. Same iOS software 8 - so I can confirm it wasn't the iOS update 8 that caused the problem. The same goes for the laptop - it long before print with it on the same operating system. On the iPad, it is not saved as an AirPrint printer and the laptop, he says he is "offline." I think the problem is, therefore, with the printer - if she says it is online and connected to our home WiFi (same as the iPad and the laptop is connected to) or iPad, or laptop can connect or register that it's there.
    You can only print wirelessly with the printer (without option of thread) so I had to do the tedious job of printing with Direct wireless. When I do this it's fine, but it takes a while and I could instead just print over WiFi at home.
    Any suggestions? I have already disconnected the printer and WiFi and then reconnected (set the password to new etc).

    I understand that recently you have not been able to print to the Photosmart 6520 an iPad or computer in Windows 8, but you can connect to wireless Direct the printer and print. I also agree that a problem is not present on the iPad or computer, but since it can print with direct wireless connection, I do not have a problem with the printer either.

    Hoping someone can help me - my printer stopped printing random recently. I checked and the ink cartridges are fully and correctly installed, there is paper in the tray and it is connected to the network. I printed a test report, so I know he can print something.

    The troubleshooting in the here document steps can help solve your Photosmart 6520 cartridge errors.  Try the procedures in two to four solutions.

    If you cannot get the cartridges to work I would suggest that you contact the vendor for a replacement or a refund.  The quality of third-party cartridges varies considerably, but is generally low. , See the study here for more information.

    I understand that when you try to print via Google Cloud Print to the Photosmart 6520, you get an error "error in the external employment service". When you talked with HP Technical Support, troubleshooting steps did make?

    Are you able to print from the printer by any means, a copy, post, etc.? To print a self-test; Press Setup (wrench to the right of the screen of the printer) > tools > Printer Status Report.

    Try printing via ePrint and let me know if it works as well.

  • Photosmart 6520: Photosmart 6520 does not print the new colors yellow, magenta and cyan

    I installed new cartridges 364 original color and now the printer prints everything in black and white only.

    Before replacing the cartridges I printed black and white stuff (because the cartridges were low).

    I have installed new drivers, it off for a minute, restarted.
    I cleaned up and align the cartridges.

    White are not dry, as I tested al with tissue.

    All of this happened less than a month after the expiration of the warranty.

    In properties, grayscale printing is turned off.

    What could be the problem?

    Well - he started working by itself after some 5 to 6 hours. All tests and diagnoses before that said nothing wrong, but the colors were simply not print at all. Then, as this, the print quality diagnostics showed color.

    All Word documents print very light blue only. Brand new HP black cartridge poster complete. I tried all the solutions I could find for this problem and none doesn't seem to work. The diagnosis of print quality shows all the colors very well except for black. Just a box blank and white. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    I have problems with my router and a remote technician for Verizon FIOS updated firmware, solve my problem of the internet, but now my printer is not working.  When I try to print from my macbook pro (OSX Lion 10.7.5) it is said that the printer is idle.  When I try to print from my ipod and the iphone, it is said that it prints, but then nothing happens.

    I was able to set up direct wireless to print, but I don't want to go into the settings and change networks whenever I need to print.

    I tried to turn off the router unplug the printer and turn it back on.

    I checked to make sure that the WEP code and network name are correct.

    What can I do else?

    It is a long shot. But since we are short of ideas, please try to change the configuration of the router from WEP to WPA2 and try again to establish the connection. Because WEP is very old standard, some routers may have a few inherited defects that were never resolved.

    Well... This opens a huge can of worms, it leads eventually to a solution.  I changed the security settings and when I presented to them, 'wait while we apply the settings' screen appeared and never went away.  The timer kept spinning and this went on for over an hour.  Neither the old or new passwords worked and I completely lost my internet connection.  I called Verizon and ordered a new router and said the technician on the line of my being stuck in limbo. After a few basic tests (unplug and pluggng again) she transferred me to someone in the advanced group.  To make a long story short, he traced the fault not the router, but the optical network outside my home box.  It reset, reset the router (losing the new security settings and everything else) but my internet is back, and fortunately, so is my printer.  I'll live with that until the arrival of my new router state-of-the-art.

    Thanks for the suggestion, it was a frustrating experience, it finally lead me to a printer to work! I doubt that I would come to this point another way.

    I'm trying to print a PDF file which is the letter format.  The printer says its printing on the main tray preference, yet the printer continues to try to print by using the photo tray.  How can I get it to print on the main tray?

    It is this problem with the main tray only with the 1 PDF A4 format you are trying to print. In other words, all other programs print correctly?

    What program you print PDFs through?

    If you use Adobe, try to go to:

    1. Click on file
    2. Click on print
    3. Click on advanced
    4. Choose 'print picture '.

    Please let me know if it's just a single PDF file or if it is the case with other PDF files and other programs. Good luck!

  • Photosmart 6510 does not print in black

    My photosmart 6510 does not print in black. I presume that it was the cartridge but I replaced the cartridge and it still does not print. I cleaned the print heads and the cartridge ink levels are full.

    The printhead, cleaning of the screen failed touchscreen printer running.  But when I sat down at my computer and used the program utility printing, he did.  I ran an initial print head cleaning my computer and then clicking the button indicating that the print heads were NOT clean.  He then ran a deep cleansing process.  Then I lined up the printheads of the same print utility program.  Now it works!

    The document here can help solve the black does not print on your Photosmart 6520.  Be sure to check the vents, as on the three solution.

    If this does not resolve the issue I suggest you call HP (1-800-HPINVENt to the United States, see here for details by the way).  The warranty online tool is an estimate, they will have a process of updated the status of the guarantee if necessary.

    I understand that when you print from your Windows 8.1 computer to your HP Photosmart e-all-in-one printer D110a print jobs are coming in white. I would like to help you today with this printing problem. When you print from your computer, some files are sent to your printer as "image" files If your printer 'think' it prints an image, color ink may be used to enrich or to 'do' the dark. This can be misleading because your machine can really be confronted a black ink, problem of print, but you may think that your machine works great as always black appears in print. While in reality, it's just the ink to mix color to black. Therefore, at the beginning troubleshooting I'll have print you a standalone report diagnosis on the quality of your printer. This report will help us determine if this printing of the blank page problem is caused by your printers ink system or your computer. Can I please you follow the steps below.

    How to print a report of quality diagnostic:

    1. Load plain white paper in the input tray.
