  C5500 printer is the default printer. I also have an hp c4280 printer that works if I want to print or scan at any time. I checked device drivers and it says they work prperly more, this is the last version of this printer. I used the troubleshooting of microsoft files site and everything out very well, but still does not print. The ink levels are new in the cartridges and the printer paper in the status bar. Internet connection and a connection between the product and the OK computer. I am lost as I bought all printers have been brand HP, and first time I had a problem.  I hope someone can help. • Quality of printing on my HP Photosmart C5580 all in one is not very good

  My parents have a HP Photosmart C5580 all-in-one printer.  Their old computer was running XP and the printer printed beautiful photo (using HP Photo paper).  The recently buy a new computer that is running Windows 7.  They called me after that that they got rid of their old computer XP.

  The problem is that the HP C5580 is no longer made a good job of photo printing.   I have been in their house and they owe me that the use of the printer to print then we have printed a new photo to the printer (which was horrible).  I then downloaded the latest drivers for Windows 7 from HP, installed and reprinted the image.

  The XP computer disappeared, so I've no idea what program they used to print photos.  I used Picas (latest version) to view and print the pictures on Windows 7.

  The new photos are very washed out. They remind me of the photos printed on the ink jet printer initially on plain paper.  They are not photographs.

  Anyone have any ideas to improve the quality of the photos?  If it is a better program than Picasa we should use to print the photo?  Is there a way to caliabrate the printer?

  Hi Dennis you have posted on the discussion of the ePrint/Mobile Forum so I'll ask that your post moved to the Printing Board Issues & troubleshooting in the hope that you receive relevant responses. In the meantime, I suggest that you check the ink levels in the supplies in the printer and print a diagnostic. You should be able to get it out in the printing software HP you have downloaded or directly from the front panel of the printer. If ink, levels are low in all of the test color cartridges to see if that solves the look "washed out" prints.

• Photosmart C5580: Printer on Windows 7 networking don't print network shared computer

  I've been trading emails with HP support for several days now on this problem and they are unable to solve.

  I have a Photosmart C5580 all-in-one printer connected to a computer HP Pavilion 64 bits with Windows 7 Ultimate edition.  I shared the printer and created a homegroup with one not also loaded with Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit HP.  Also on the network is a laptop HP with Windows 7 Ultimate edition.

  That is the problem.  I can print the C5580 of the host computer and the HP laptop.  The printer will not respond to the 32-bit computer with the print job hanging in Quebec with an error.  Of course, the window Troubleshooting Wizard is no help.  I installed the package of windows 7 HP printer on all three computers.  I added the printer through the Add Wizard of the printer, tried to add network printer connection, add a TCP/IP port for the printer properties to the 32-bit computer.  I followed the instructions of

  HP and I have run each step resolution of problems they can think of and we begin to repeat.

  Does anyone else have this problem and how did you solve it?

  It is a 32-bit to 64-bit problem. Turns out that the driver for the x 86 processor must be installed on the two computer and vice versa for a 64-bit computer, trying to pint on a x 86 processor.

  Here's what I did to remedy.

  On the printserver 64 bit, I opened the printer sharing tab properties.

  Then I opened the button drivers additional.

  The x 86 processor has not been installed.

  I sailed on the network to the 32-bit computer and wanted by the printer drivers in the c:/windows/system32/driversStore/fileRepository to find the prnhp00r.inf.

  After I installed this driver, the printer would answer correctly.

  After several years of use, my printer (HP Photosmart C5580) has lost connection with my computer (MacBook Pro OS 10.6.8). bluetooth  After a struggle I finally got to pair with bluetooth, but the State of the printer is now "offline."  It works very well with a USB cable.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling without success.

  I noticed the two of your posts, and I wanted to tender hand. I understand that you see that your printer is 'offline' and it does not connect to bluetooth. I would suggest trying the following:

  1. run Apple updates

  2 mac OS x: how to reset the printing system

  3. repair disk permissions

  4. Add the printer using the "+"sign

  Now to see if you are able to connect to the bluetooth.

  I see your message and the private message that you are unable to scan to your computer using the C5580. I am very sure that you found something not HP if she asked you to pay for the drivers, unless you've tried to order a CD

  Go to this link: all-in-one printer, HP Photosmart C5580 supports. Select your operating system, and then click Next. Select the driver - software product Installation (1), then download.

  Once the software is downloaded, you will be able to install the software and the scan.

  Had trouble scanning to Quicken 2014.

  Always Solution Center uninstalled and reinstalled with the CD supplied with the printer, then put updated by internet.

  My problem is the CD of the Moose is missing and I'm unable to locate the program on the HP website.

  It is not possible. Connectivity bluetooth can only be used for the printing of the pictures of Bluetooth compatible cell phones or computers with bluetooth capability. Whatever it is, you will not be able to scan using the bluetooth connection. So it is best, if you opt for a wireless printer using the standard wireless 802.11 g. In this way, you can connect it to your Netgear router.

• Get a PhotoSmart C5580 to work with a Bluetooth connection in Windows 8

  I have a PhotoSmart C5580 for several years.  It was working fine with my old laptop running Windows 7 with USB and Bluetooth.  My new laptop has 8 64-bit Windows and the USB connection works fine, but I can't get the Bluetooth connection to work for the life of me.  The old laptop needed a USB Bluetooth adapter, but the new laptop has Bluetooth built in.

  I'm pretty tech savvy and searched through various online and tried the HP Installation Wizard help documents, but they speak mainly on USB and wireless and not on Bluetooth technology.  The Panel has USB and BT printers installed.  BT is currently marked as default printer.  The BT menu on the printer is marked to be visible, and BT options on the computer seem far too, because the computer totally see the BT printer.  The list of Windows 8 devices (two BT and otherwise) lists currently both the USB printer, which according to her, is cause of disconnected the USB cable is disconnected in fact and not the BT printer, he's talking about.

  Whenever I have remove the BT printer and add it again, the HP software/driver installs again and says it's successful (even if the driver for the USB connection and the software are already installed and work very well).

  The only problem is that the HP Solution Center indicates that the BT printer is disconnected.  It really tells me nothing more than that.  It's the same message that my old laptop would give me if I didn't have the USB Bluetooth adapter plugged in, but here the BT is built, and the computer says it is on and working very well.  So I'm a little confused at this point.  Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

  I am delighted to hear that, and I'll pass that along our engineers so that they do not worry. I didn't even really think, but if you leave the USB cord is plugged it will disable the BT adapter in the machine - which could cause prints of BT to fail but not USB prints.

  HI - first time here - I have a HP Photosmart C4480 printer and have recently installed a new black ink cartridge - genuine HP 350XL - bought in Tesco and already used a few times.  I printed a page today, and when I went to another printing, the printer says that the cartridge was incompatible.  I had not touched the printer between the prints. I tried out both cartridges and resettlement but still get the same message.  Also tried to turn again printer.

  I could understand if there was a problem with the cartridge and it was rejected as soon as I installed, but does not understand why this happens between the printing of pages.

  Here a link to a document that addresses this cartridge error message that you get on the printer. It will give you troubleshooting to try in an effort to solve this problem with the printer. I hope this helps. If you reach the end of the document and have done all the solutions proposed by the document, would seek to substitute.

  If you are still in warranty, HP can replace the printer without cost to you. I'll link the information to get in touch with them below. The link takes you to a form to fill out.   What a pleasure to receive a response. Unfortunately, took all the steps without success. You took note of cliqueti noise that continues after all the inspection. I observe that the rattling noise occurs when the transport is on the right side of the printer. When you move the carriage to the left & with a flashlight, I saw a black glob in the extreme right under where the transport would be. What key it seemed to be a deposit of black as ink. Do not think that this isn't the ink as empty cartridge or showing empty.

  The printer has served faithfully for time Believe + 5 years came for the replacement. However, t would be nice to know how this has happened.

  I thank for the help & you can be sure that the replacement will be a model of HP.
