Pink lilac screen/occasionally in Windows 7

I am running Windows 7 on my pc at home.  I had Windows 7 installed because it was released and it was not until recent weeks that my screen becomes suddenly rose.  Occasionally, it will be normal.  I also saw a lila color as well.  Contacted Samsung & introduced by diagnosis, it's not the monitor.  I also contacted Acer (bought 1 year ago pc), & they advised me to disconnect everything from the system.  Free to all connections, press on and hold button power on the tower for 30 seconds, and then restart as usual.  The system started well but inside about 2 min, I went to a pink screen.  All drivers have been updated & I troubleshoot-performed various areas & done a system restore several times.  I don't know what else to do.  Acer says I'm a few days past my warranty period & it will cost me a minimum of $200.  Yet once, this pc was purchased just the end of August, last year.  You have any other suggestions for me?  I would greatly appreciate any advise you can give.

Thanks for your reply.  Yes, there is, but I think I understood the problem.  After 2-3 weeks of long, pain-staking to look at a pink screen, I think it is nothing more than the link of the video cable (?), that connects the monitor to the computer.  The monitor had been positioned differently & since I had some changes in place, I didn't look terribly at this pink screen.  It's been over an hour now and things are looking promising.

Sorry for wasting your time & again once, thank you so much for your response.

Have a good evening.

  • How to get Skype calls to overlay full-screen games in windows 10

Hi.Here is my problem: in Windows 10, while I'm in a game session full screen, if someone calls me on Skype, instead of a small window centered to answer the call on the current game I get a black screen. In windows 7, it wasn't the case, I could just answer of in the game, just by clicking on the small window that overlayied the game and continue playing happily. I know that it's more a problem of Windows 10, but if we could get Skype to work stacking game would be nice, especially since a black screen on you the current game session is very dissruptive.

Well, I tried anyway, but I don't think it could be fixed, because in windows10 any notifications get you a black screen, in some cases, it crashes the game (all within a game fullscreen).

  • Cannot share screens with Skype Windows 8

I can't share screens with Skype (Windows 8). I've looked everywhere but I couldn't find a solution for this.

I tried: by clicking on the + button in a conversation as well as just by clicking on the contact and search for screen sharing button. See the two screenshots as an attachment.

Can someone please help me to find the function of sharing screen on Skype version of windows 8?

The application of the "modern" of Skype for Windows 8 does not yet support screen sharing.

If you want to be able to use the screen sharing feature, then you must install the version of office 'normal '.

    Hey everybody,

I was wondering if it is possible to use an iMac with BootCamp installed as a screen for a Windows laptop. If so, is there something I should know about the complexity of this solution and its sensitivity to errors etc. ?

Or, assuming that it does not work, does anyone know alternatives (Parallels very probably wouldn't be enough in my case)?

  • Window remains white screen after starting windows screen. the system hangs after Mup.sys on safe mode

The title pretty much everything said.

The problem occurred on a fault that Dell Vostro 2510 with the additional option should only do the downgrade of Win Xp (from Vista).  As noted, on normal startup, the system will remain in a blank screen after the Windows Xp "loading" screen.  And on safe mode, it will join Mup.sys and then hang there.

The closest thing that I got from a web search was a thread in forum saying that the official info from Microsoft was that it was a question of Win Xp/motherboard (http://www.hardwareanalysis.com/content/topic/31874/?o=40 halfway to a post by Bobb Fwed).  The poster provided no link, so I don't know how official his info was really.

  • Start window manager: sometimes when I started my PC I have a black screen with the Windows boot manager at the top.

Sometimes when I start my PC I have a black screen with the Windows boot manager at the top.  Although there are several options available, that nothing happens no matter what keys I hit and the only option is to shut down the computer and restart completely.  Sometimes the Boot Manager page turns and my office sometimes opens fine.  I've updated with everything Microsoft has Windows Vista and I still get this screen.  Anyone has any ideas.

Do a startup repair and see if that fixes it:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  • Prevent expansion of window full screen on the Windows 7 Desktop?

    1. When I move a window to the left or right on the desktop, Windows 7, often it develops in full screen.  I find this very annoying.  How do I stop/disable Windows 7 to automatically expand the window?

    Hello

This function is called Aero Snap.

When you drag a window, you can break it down to the top of the screen to enlarge the window, or share and on the other, fill half of the screen of the window.

The action that "snaps" of the window and the edge of the screen when the mouse cursor reaches the last row of Pixels on the edge of the screen.

    You can disable this feature.

Open Control Panel / accessibility / make the mouse easier to use.

At the bottom of the window, place a check in the option prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen .

    Apply / OK.

    Kind regards.
