Portege R930 - 1-d 0 Ericsson Mobile Broadband - device H5321GW unknown

Morning all,

We bought two Portégé R930 that came pre-installed with Windows 7 pro,
We have upgraded to Windows 7 Enterprise,
I downloaded the drivers and installed them fine, but I have problems with is the Ericsson H5321GW for Toshiba Broadband USIM Port.

It shows as an "unknown device" in Device Manager.

I know that this is, as I compared it to the machine that still had Win 7 Pro.

Can someone enlighten me as to what drivers I need to install to get this working, I downloaded and installed all the relevant drivers from the Toshiba web site.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

    (3) restart
    (4) access Lenovo Connections connects to mobile broadband. It is then just a matter of go and connect to the wifi also.

Everything works beautifully now and switching between wifi and mobile automatically. I think it was just damaged TCP/IP settings in one or two adapters.

Hello, I have the same problem, I used the Dell Mobile Broadband utility and run the self diagnostic, and the result was down: HardwareTest. I guess that the unit is not installed or not connected to the motherboard. How can I activate this device? There must be a setting in the BIOS, or something is not pluged in correctly for this laptop. also, mine is a Latitude E6410 with Win7.

I saw no response for this post.

  • Unable to access HP hs2350 module HSPA + broadband (WWAN Ericsson) Mobile after upgrade Windows 8.1

    Hello world!

I upgraded my HP Elitebook 8470 laptop 'Windows 8 Pro with Media Center x 64' to 'Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center x 64 "OS.

After this OS update module HSPA + Mobile broadband to the HP hs2350 (WWAN Ericsson) has stopped working.

Follow-up of the steps to solve the problem:

    • I uninstalled the device and the driver through the Windows Device Manager, uninstalled the driver control panel software and restarted the machine.
    • Open the Device Manager and tried to update the driver, but Windows could not find a driver online.
    • Went to the support page for the HP product and downloaded and installed: update of firmware for Windows 8 "sp60091.exe"; latest driver Windows 8.1 "update sp63292".
    • Rebooted the machine, and the problem was the same:

Because upgrade operating system I can't access my ADSL module (it is not detected).

I checked the Windows Device Manager, and it seems that the driver is correctly installed but unit "HP hs2350 HSPA + Mobile Broadband Network Adapter" is constantly turning on and off with an exclamation point. See its properties I get the message:

"This device cannot start. (Code 10) {Operation failed} The requested operation failed.

or "this device is working properly".

(this information to randomly change every second with the exclamation mark next to it).

I tried to run Windows troubleshooting-> audio &-> & devices, but he could not find a compatible driver.

    Can someone help me, please?

Is just to inform that Microsoft has recently developed an update for this material (Ericsson - Mobile Broadband MOBILE - HP hs2350 HSPA + Mobile Broadband Module network adapter).

You can access it through Windows Update.

    Thank you, Microsoft.

The question is: did you buy a Portege R700 with a module 3G?

I m asking because different Portege R700 were released with different specifications.

  • Portege R830 - forcing mobile broadband using 3 G/HSDPA with Win 8

    Hi all

Updated my Portege R830 to Windows 8 without problem.

Given that most of the Wireless Manager functionality has been moved in the Windows, I can not find where I can "force" the connection to 3 G/HSDPA.

I live in an area where the signal is insufficient and if I let the network default settings, it frequently goes to the strongest EDGE connection. I connected with Wireless Manager, using only 3 G/HSDPA where 2 bars were sufficient for everyday tasks.

Moments of light bulb? (Travel is unfortunately not an option... ;))

Hmm, I think that this parameter isn't available in 8 Win.

Microsoft provides a nice article on configuring broadband to help to win 8 and mentioned configuration isn't it:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/mobile-broadband-from-start-to-finish

From my understanding the best signal to broadband will be selected and used if it is available.,.

    Hello

Without the good work Toshiba PPV, other software Toshiba would not work properly.
It is important to get the PPV of work package before you start the installation of other software from Toshiba!

From my point of view of a few you should update the Win 7 in the last State before starting the installation of the software. The Win 7 SP1 must be installed before using the additional software.

  • Mobile broadband - connection limited

    Hi all

I use a Tablet 2 with an Ericsson 5621 gw adapter and a Vodafone Egypt USB SIM card (which works fine in my Sony Ericsson Xperia arc phone including creation of hotspot & using internet etc.).

Now, I can connect to the Vodafone Mobile Braodband, but always only with a limited connection (no), the driver is new, the unit works fine, no probs, same connections complete shows and stable access connection to Vodafone, only the network in windows 8 32-bit dialog box indicates limited access, and it is, says the Device Manager.

The thing is it worked fine for a while, the only thing I changed since then was to try if the hotspot feature worked (which is not, and how boring is that), so I disabled the hotspot, and since then, the mobile broadband network is limited.

I also checked my normal Vodafone SIM card (which has also a data volume of 5 GB or more and also works well in my Xperia arc incl. internet and hotspot), with same result, ditto my SIM Lenovo Mobile Access.

where is this option to restart? must be somewhere... Please?

    Klingsor

OK, now here is the solution:

After many trials, I uninstalled the network broadcom adapter, re-installed with pilot (to date), and connectivity was back to full.

If the online specifications are correct, your E530 does not have a WWAN card.

I pasted your slot machine specifications and those for an E520 that comes with mobile broadband.

You can verify your listing by clicking on SUPPORT above, and then enter 3259-Flumeri fast path on the right.

  • Can CPU overheating if Portege R930 goes into sleep mode?

I have an a Portege R930. I run an application of 25-30% of the CPU for long hours. If I put the laptop in mode 'sleep', the calculation get suspended? If not, and it is still running, how the CPU is cooled when the fan is off mode 'sleep'? The CPU can overheat?

I * don't * want my program from several hours to be interrupted by a detector from overheating. If I know that the program is suspended in mode 'sleep', I fear enter "standby" mode. If this isn't the case, so I'll keep the laptop awake, and if I need to carry the laptop, I'll put it into hibernation.

The answer seems to be that the CPU cannot fire because the programs are suspended: http://forums.toshiba.com/t5/Port%C3...p/689961#M4014
