I don't see how to print posters on my my A8500 A910 printer. Help, please

The a910 driver seems relatively Spartan.  I suggest you download and install the driver a909a, it should be sompatible and offers displays up to 5 x 5 sheets of tile.  To install the a909 driver follow these steps: download the installation package and tell the printer setup is connected by the cable network.  At one point, as the installer will tell you that the printer was not found and will give you an option to try again or continue and connect later.  Select this option to continue and connect later.

Then go to the folder devices and printers (may be named something different, based on your OS, the following will be the instructions for Windows 7).  Right-click on the a910 and select properties from the Printer Ports and note that the port the a910 uses.  Now close this window and select Add printer, a local printer, use an existing port and select the same port found above for the a910.  When the list of printers comes up select HP for the manufacturer (not), then the series HP Officejet Pro 8500.  There may be more than one driver listed for the 8500, I would say seelcting later.

Once installation is complete, you will have a printer listed as the HP Officejet Pro series a909a and the HP Officejet Pro a910.   Try to print to the a909a and see if it provides the functionlity you need.

    Hello

The 8500 (A910) driver is not support printing posters.

To work around the problem, you can use another pilot who provide the required functionality:

    1. Enter the control panel > devices and printers, click Add Printer .
    2. Click on Add a local printer.
    3. In use the existing Port, select the port for your printer:
DOT4 if your printer is connected by USB
If standard TCP/IP network connection used.
      And then click Next.
    4. Click Windows Update in the list of printers, allow several minutes for what the list will apear again.
    5. Select HP in the column of manufacturing
    6. Select the printers HP Deskjet 6980 series column.

  • Z5200 PS: white vertical stripes appear of some graphs when printing posters - Z5200PS

When you generate posters in MS Publisher or MS PowerPoint sometimes a graphic placed on the page will create a white band of non-printing the image width from the top to the bottom of the page.  The only printing in this range is the image.  Not all images have this problem.  The white band does not appear in the image or preview before printing in the program.  The white stripe appears only in the preview before printing HP and on the printed poster.

This has happened with several posters, but not all.  The images associated with the banding have been removed and the white band is deleted.  The images will be edited, resized and otherwise modified but still liaising with the band.

A poster done with MS Publisher that produces the white vertical stripes with a few images when printing to the HP Z5200 PS is saved in Adobe Acrobat.  The Acrobat screen image is OK.  In Acrobat print preview is fine.  But when generating the preview before HP Print or print, the white vertical stripes in the graphics display.

I tried everything I can think of.  Posters of MS Publisher look OK on the screen.  The problem occurs only when printing or using the preview feature before printing HP for the HP5200.  The files printed without this problem on our old printer large format of 500 HP.

Any suggestions on the cause or solution?

Thank you.  Your suggestion has provided a fruitful work around.

The PDF file was the same problem that the Presenter MS leader had.  Due to the size of the MS Presenter file, error messages have been generated when trying to convert it to a JPG file.

But, I went back to the PDF of the MS Presenter file and used Acrobat Professional to convert it to several image formats and attempted to print the PDF file of the file MS Presenter image format.  It worked.  It's a very winding road, but it has provided acceptable results.

    Thanks again.

  • The c309a can print posters

I had an epson that could print posters IE; 20 "x 16". She printed on multiple sheets then I could put it together like a puzzle. I can do with the 309 a photosmart series?

What operating system? In the driver Windows 7 "Poster printing" can be selected in the Advanced tab.  You can choose from 2 x 2 sheets up to 5 x 5 sheets.

I think Vista and XP drivers to have a similar capacity.

As far as I can remember... poster printing on multiple pages

you had a type of software that had the
    option.

In any case... the freeware "It displays" may be worth a try:

  • printing of posters (tiling)

On the advice of a representative of Office Depot online, I bought a hp7520 because he/she says he did posters, but if that's the case I can't understand it.  It also said that most of the new printers nowdays do, but in the product discriptions there is nothing "tiling" or "poster" ability.

    Hi cpsherm,

I understand that you are interested in tiling to print large posters. I found a site with useful information. Take a look and let me know if that helps. How to generate a mosaic copy. Two big utilities online.

    Hi Peter,.

Paint is a feature in Windows that allows you to draw, color and change the images. You can use Paint like a notebook of digital sketches for pictures and creative simple projects or to add text and other images, such as those taken with your digital camera.

  • How modifiable posters online?

I have 5 posters designed in Illustrator, now I need to put them on the web with editable text boxes - I would like the font and size locked, it must be formatted for the paragraph.  So, what would be a good way to do this?  Basically, we have a clientele with franchises and each store orders the same signs of 5, but allows you to choose their own message and they would do it all online.

    Create a PDF Reader enabled:

1 illustrator: creating the work. Leave a space in the design for the editable text, but do not create text edtitable objects.

    2. save a copy in PDF.

    3. open the PDF file in Acrobat Pro. Use the features of forms to add editable text fields.

4 Select the PDF for Reader Extensions. You will be asked to save the active version.

The fields in the resulting PDF file can be edited by recipients using only Adobe Reader software and can be saved with the changes by Adobe Reader. Then...

You can simply make the PDF enabled (with text by default to empty fields or reusable container) available online to download. Each store can touch his text and save the file with these changes. You can also add a "submit" button, so that the edited PDF file can be sent as an attachment to email, etc.

Learn about the features of PDF using Acrobat Pro forms. If you can do a bit of Javascript, you can embed some Javascripts in PDF files to exploit other features. See Acrobat Pro Javascript Reference.

  • How to create grainy texturing and faces in the movie posters

I love watching the lighting and contrast in the movie posters,

I would like to know how to create textures and texture effects I see often on movie posters, which seem more hyper made realistic than nature, still convey the character very well skin, I have also attached a cover of wii games to show the hand texturing,

My guess is that it's done with the right give modes and texture brushes, do not know how to create this subtle grainsand looking into the skin, or what is a very good camera that captures the skin in detail then applied to the skin texture, contrast? benjamin button seems to have a grain for its halftone,

benjamin and prince of Persia poster button seem to capture better what I mean, hand on the cover of NFL wii game is also interesting.

    a few examples below,

Make a new layer filled with 50% gray, use the filter-> noise-> add noise or other texturing method you prefer and then change the blending mode of this layer to overlay or soft light.

  • Ignoring the posters

I know it's probably extremely rude, but is there a way for us to ignore the answers from people especially on the various forums of support here?  I ask because there is a specific person who almost literally makes my blood boil, and I had to bite my lip to the point of pain to stop telling them where they can stick.

Again, I know it's not very nice, but I'm at my wit's end.

Can not 'block' view. You can call our attention to the specific post using the to get the URL and display it in a new thread - we can then report the announcement to our kind guests

You can report the post yourself of course

But without a doubt ignore it if you can not "kill 'em with kindness."

  • Is there a way to make posters using personal photos in Mircosoft Word or Microsoft Paint?

I have a Windows Vista if it is important to know. I want to put my letters and photos to create a poster with them. Is it possible to do using Microsoft Word or Microsoft Paint? Or is that not possible?

    Jess

You do not need Word or paint.  Just right click on the image you want to print and click Print to print your poster of the image.

Or you can certainly use Word (or my favorite, PowerPoint) to organize a lot of photos together, make their tour and style however you want before printing.  Like this:
