Precision 7510 outputs to a single monitor through E-Port Plus Advanced Port Replicator

Someone had problems with accuracy 7510 output only via an exit DisplayPort on the E-Port Plus Replicator of Advanced Port?

Our Organization has recently begun to introduce units of precision 7510 to our employees, and we see that they only will be one monitor connected via DisplayPort through the Advanced E-Port Plus Replicator of Port - even if there are two monitors connected on both outputs DisplayPort on the E-Port Plus the Apr. If the monitors are connected via DVI, 7510 accuracy is able to output to both of them through the E-Port Plus the Apr.

We tried M4800, E7450 processor and controller Latitude and Latitude E7470 precision devices in these E-Port Plus with two monitors connected on both outputs DisplayPort - and they all work properly.

7510 precision units have video cards NVIDIA Quadro M1000M and the E-Port Plus APR is connected to either a pair of monitors P2417 or a pair of U2414 monitors.

Disable Switchable Graphics in the BIOS. This should solve your problem.

  • Tecra A9 - connection of two external monitors using Express Port Replicator

    Hello

I have a Tecra A9 and Express Port Replicator.
I'm trying to connect 2 external displays, one connected to the output of the laptop and the other connected to the docking station (notebook lid closed, do not use the laptop screen).

I can't get to work, anyone know if this is possible?

    Hello

I think you want to connect a VGA monitor and the other to DVI port.
    Is this good?

    Well, I found this doc:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB7B0201000CR01.htm

Depends on used Tecra A9, if you can get a picture on the DVI port on the Express Port Replicator (PA3508E-1PRP) or not.
The DVI port on the on the Port Replicator Port Express is supported only on computers with graphics card ATI or nVidia.
If you have a DVI INTEL graphics card port on the on the Express Port Replicator only is NOT supported.

  • Tecra M11-LaTeX runs slow on external monitor using Express Port Replicator

    Hi all

I am having trouble with my Tecra M11 with an external monitor, through an Express Port Replicator II.

It is very accurate, but I am running texlive 2010 on my laptop to write a thesis. Whenever I use my laptop screen feature is very good, and it works very fast, no lag when I compile my document. As soon as docking it into my docking station at work to use it on a big screen, whenever I use the same program, it slows down a lot, finally causing the crash program. Its frustrating to lose a lot of your thesis like this! When I connect the external monitor directly to the laptop, it works fine again.

Something goes wrong in the docking station. Anyone know how I can fix this? Im a little confused and ideas. Maybe I pilot or something im unaware of. My docking station is maybe defective?

    Thank you

    Jake

Port replicator port on which do you use? VGA or DVI?

It won't be easy to provide the answer to your question. It is not possible to test all the software available with docking station and research solutions.
    I would say: bad luck.

  • Problems with an external monitor with the Port Replicator III and M100

    Hey all.

I just returned from a trip where I took my laptop. Plugged into the Port Replicator port, started and everything was fine. Then after an hour or two, the monitor stopped receiving a signal. I repositioned the laptop and everything was good again. He then loses signal once again, and I was not able to get a signal via the port replicator since.

The monitor works fine through the hole at the rear of the M100.

I checked the pins on the Port Replicator port and portable, none folded and tried to clean any dust etc. Still no signal to the monitor.

Someone has ideas of how to do to solve this problem?

    Hello

The Toshiba 3 mobile extension is responsible for the good condition of the duplicator 3 market. Try to reinstall this utility and also check the page of the Toshiba driver for updates.

  • Unable to connect 2 external monitors via the Port Replicator using Portege Z30 - 16U

    Hi all

I need hell, I just moved from another laptop for Portege Z30 - 16U, I spent hours trying to connect my 2 external monitors to my Replicator Port Hi-Speed III 120W, but my laptop will see a monitor.

I used 2 external monitors with my laptop for years because I do a lot or reading and I don't want to use the one and the laptop screen.

I tried the mixture of a VGA and a HDMI and VGA cables, but nothing works.

Can anyone tell me how I can connect and discover 2 external monitors with this laptop and port replicator, I can't believe that this is not possible, it makes no sense that Toshiba would then technilogically behind other laptop manufacturers.

    Thank you

    Hello

I'm not familiar with the Z30 Portreplicator, but the general behavior of the replicators of the double-displayconnector, is that 1 can be used.
    Not 2 simultaneously.

I could be wrong, and you should easily be able to check it out - use only 1 at a time.
    First, then the other.
If the two works when used alone, then my suspicion is right.

    I hope this helps!

  • Audio output digital on Lenovo docking station and Port Replicator

    Dear community,

There is no station Lenovo port replicator or docking station for Thinkpad recent (T440 & X 440) with audio output digital?

A big thank you in advance?

    Amine

Neither has it. You need something like that. It divides basically your audio digital HDMI or DP.

  • Tecra M11 - 11L: no sound through Express Port Replicator II

    Hello

I hope someone can help me.

I have a Tecra M11 11 L with Windows 7 32-bit and an Express Port Replicator II docking station.

When I plug my external speakers into the 3.5 mm plug on the laptop side, they work very well and the internal Laptop speakers are correctly muted.
When I have the laptop dock and connect the external speakers to the Jack on the dock, I hear no external speaker but I get the sound from the internal speakers (i.e. they are is more silent).

I did some research and some Dell users report the same problem with their docking stations after the upgrade to Windows 7, which suggests that this could be a driver problem Windows 7, rather than a faulty docking station.

    Someone at - it ideas?

    Thank you very much.

    Hello

I found just the package of Windows Vista for Toshiba Express Port Replicator II drivers
    http://Support1.toshiba-tro.de/Tedd-files2/0/drvpack-20071108133820.zip

There is no software driver Win 7 for Toshiba Express Port Replicator II.
But this does not mean that this could be a software problem
It is also possible that audio jack does not work as it should
It would be desirable to test the Express Port Replicator II under Vista or Win XP

    Hello

I didn t find all the information about the Advanced Port Replicator II but I found some info on Advanced Port Replicator III and the simultaneous use of RGB & DVI ports

So the point is it's possible * ONLY * if portable system unit _itself also includes simultaneous use of RGB & DVI support_.

  • T400 will not recognize Benq monitor through my KVM TRENDnet switch

I get an error message "your computer is not connected to an external monitor" when I try to connect to my analog monitor via a KVM TrendNet 4 ports (TK409K) to my T400 switch... USB keyboard and mouse over his fine thru the KVM switch... jobs on the other ports (a NetVista and a ThinkCenter) all work are all OK and can use the monitor correctly...

My laptop prior (T41p) was also able to use the monitor through the same port of the KVM switch... only change was to replace T41p with upgrade to T400... If I ignore the KVM switch and connect the monitor directly on the T400, everything is OK.

I thought that the laptop monitor output was only outgoing, but the error message seems to indicate that there is a way to detect if something is attached to the monitor on the T400 output connector. My suspicion is that some info the T400 expected when a monitor is attached is not return through the KVM switch, but...

Ideas, advice, advice would be greatly appreciated... thx in advance.

    Problem solved (well, I guess it's really a work-around)...

a cable DVI - D my laptop docking to my double-entry screen allows me to get the video signal directly and get the entrance of the kbd and mouse through the KVM switch... and my two offices continue to function through the KVM switch to the analog input of the monitor

I never knew which signal was not passed from the monitor to the laptop through the KVM switch... but the laptop did not recognize clearly that there was a monitor attached through the KVM

  • Can the iPad will be the single monitor to a Mac Mini?

For the most part, everything we do on the computer can be done with the iPad. However, there are some applications for which we need a computer that is running something other than iOS. What we have is for each family member to have an iPad, that would work for 95% of what we do and then have a Mac Mini that anyone can use for applications that do not work on an iPad. We really don't want children using a MacBook, because they are too fragile, and we do not want a monitor constantly sitting around the House. I saw a software that will transform the iPad into a monitor for the Mac Mini. Can this work as the single monitor? I consider the MacMini sitting quietly somewhere in the House, so that each of us could 'plug in' (either wireless or wired, not sure how it works) to him with an iPad when it takes more computing power. The MacMini would never be used with anything other than an iPad as a monitor. Is this possible? Thank you!

There are apps like the Team Viewer free (for non-commercial use) and the paid LogMeIn and the GoToMyPC that allows an iPad control/use a computer...

Do you need a real screen and keyboard initially configure the Mac

  • You can print screen a single monitor in a system with multiple monitors?

    Hi all

In our application, there is a 'Print' button which will take the printscreen and add it to a report. Now that we have improved the system works in several monitors, I could not yet find a way to printscreen only the specified monitor.

PS. : Normally whenever we do that PrtScr, it will take the image of all the monitors and not a single monitor. Alt + PrtScr print only the active window, but not all windows of this monitor.

    Any suggestion is appreciated.

    Thank you

    Luxama

    Hi George,.

How do you the printscreen? I think that you simulate a command 'Ctrl + print' and read the image of the cilpboard. I have corrected the AAM?

Before saving the image to a file you can cut it to the size you need. Sorry, resize was not talk to her.

  • Using two computers on a single monitor, keyboard and mouse.

I want to use my two computers with a single screen, keyboard and mouse... says to use the kvm switch.  I use Windows XP on a computer and Windows Vista on the other... what kvm switch do you recommend?

You can view the free software kvm solution below:

    Input Director
     http://www.InputDirector.com/

I use between three computers (1-Win7 Pro x 64 single monitor, 1-WinXP Pro x 86 two monitors, 1-WinXP Home x 86 single monitor) and a single keyboard and mouse. It works fine for me, I used it for over a year without any problems. The Win7 Pro and WinXP Pro have both run several virtual machines too.

There are several other kvm software available (Google is your friend) I tried several before input Director.

    Kind regards

  • Adding 2nd SSD precision 7510 m2

I just bought a laptop from precision 7510.  I ordered it with the following main and any secondary drive:

    • 400 AILW 256Go M.2 PCIe High Performance Solid State Drive, MPWS

I would like to add a second drive of NVMe m2 (maybe a Samsung 950 Pro) into the slot of the disk 2.5 ".  When you order the laptop, this is an option for high performance M.2 NVMe disc with 'infill '. Anyone know the part number for this 'leap '? There are other parts that I need to make this work?

    Thank you!

    @Morinomiya and Furo99,

    Thank you for your questions.

    5WNPC is a cable for 7510/7710:

WPTND is the M2 interposer board for 7510/7710

There is also a support M.2 listed for 7510/7710 Y1WJX:

    M.2 thermal cover HR8P8

    Next steps:

-I can confirm for you if it is possible to install a second m2, for systems already delivered by Dell

-I'll try to get installation instructions if it turns out that it is possible to upgrade

-You can send me a friend request and we'll talk about parts order/stock

  • Precision M6600 / Nvidia 4000 M / Port replicator / 2 monitors

We bought a new M6600 of lower precision 10 days ago and everything worked very well with the support of multiple monitors - I was able to have the Office extended across the screen of the laptop and the two external monitors connected via DVI and the duplicator.

This morning, I got a BSOD and what seems to be an update of the driver while I was at a meeting (using only the laptop screen). I have now connected the laptop to the port replicator, and I can't use two external monitors - one or the other, but not both. I restarted the laptop several times.

In the Nvidia Control Panel-> Set Up multiple displays, it lists all three screens, but if I select the third, a bubble appears saying that "this GPU supports up to 2 screens" - but she supported three yesterday :(

I think after a certain number of times where this happened and tried various techniques, the problem is that option Optimus in the BIOS (in video) for some reason any becomes invalid. Allowing it solves the problem.
