Gezahegn please how can I get into the BIOS to remove the passwords. The number you gave me is not working, I'm sure that for that reason.   I understand that you are looking for a bios update for your compaq presario CQ61-408SL. Your current version is F.15.  It is the recommended version for your laptop.

  Update the BIOS.

  Please note that caveat on the above document.

  The key is that there is no work around for a forgotten password or unknown supervisor. This situation requires a replacement of the system board.

  I am located in the Japan and I need a SMC.bin file to reset the password of the bios for a 2570p here.

  I contacted the support to the Japan HP, but the only option that they provide is to send the machine and it will cost ~ $160 for repairs.

  I raised a support ticket with HP in the United States - case ID is 4654554531, but they said since the machine is not purchased in the United States, they could not help.

  Could HP want to provide me with a file SMC.bin so that I can reset the password using the procedure described here:
