print landscape A3 on Designjet T120

We have a new plotter Designjet T120, which works very well!

The problem is, I can't get a correctly printed A3 or A4 landscape. Apparently, it is not made that he must return the print job 90 ° to make things...

Is there a setting I need to change? It seems really stupid, but I don't know why it isn't done automatically...

I really want to get this setting right, to get the maximum from our printer.

Thank you!

solved!

I had to install Microsoft Update Net4 MS., afterwards, I was able to install software from CD ePrint. After installing ePrint, I had a 'radio button' to aktivate the PREVIEW. Now I can print with preview and rotate the output as I like.

  • HP DesignJet T120 prints blank Pages with software of CAD DraftSight

    Hello

I grew up this question with the DraftSight support as well.  They are currently studying the issue, but I doubt very much they can do about so I wanted to get feedback from the HP support as well.  Basically, the problem is that I can't print using the HP DesignJet T120 and CAD software free DraftSight.  The job is sent to the printer, but the pages come out blank.  I was hoping that if someone can also confirm this behavior or help me solve the problem.  Here is some information on my situation:

    1. I can print other software for the T120

    2. I can print draftsight on another printer (Toshiba e-Studio 281)

    3. my system configuration:

    -Windows 7 x 64

    -Printer connected via usb

-Use the latest printer drivers for T120 (61.124.1518.100)

    -DraftSight V1R3.1 x 64 http://www.3ds.com/products/draftsight/download-draftsight/

    4. I tried the method of pilot alternative described in http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-All-in-One-Software-Drivers-e-g-Windows-8/How-to-Assign-Alterna...

but it is not really one another driver I can choose.

I appreciate all the help and feedback!

  • Designjet T120 does not print full page

I recently bought a designjet T120. I am printing drawings to her and it is printing only half of them. I had this problem on a designjet T520, and you get the error "out of memory". If you go in the printer preferences, then advanced, you can choose to send the work in the form of bitmap and it feeds through.

My problem is that in the T120 printing preferences, there is no option to choose it. Under document options - features of the printer it doesn't have the ability to send in the form of bitmap.

    Any help? Thanks in advance

What operating system the drivers are different for each operating system. If you still have the T520 driver loaded, change the port to the port of the T120, and see if it works like so many drivers use the same printer language.

  • How to install a DesignJet T120 (or other) driver printer bypassing the printer connected?

    Hi all

As shown in the topic, how can you install a printer driver without going through the connected printer?

We have a user who has problems with its layout with the DesignJet T120 and want to help reproduce the problem so that we can find a solution, but it seems that, without actually connecting the printer, the driver installation is less difficult.

We use Windows 8, but have access to all the operating systems.

    Thanks for the solution!

We have a HP designjet T120 when power on/off, this (BA7F11E0) error message appears on the screen immediately.  No movement of transport or initialization is performed. Just the error and nothing else. Pls help.

    Hello

Try to isolate the printer, remove the printhead, inks, connectivity cables and turn on the printer.

If the error persists, it may be a problem with the APC hand.

  • Designjet T120: T120 - sustainability of the printhead Designjet

Consider buying Designjet T120 for a small office, where my question:

What is the sustainability of the print head? (how many pages can be printed)?

With almost all designjet hp I've seen over the years, the print head life is never determined by the number of pages. There are just too many variables.  Unlike most printers Designjet the T120 T520 doesn't have a separate print heads, but is rather a unit and is replaced as such.  I have not heard or seen any problems with the printhead on this model, so I guess that it will last several years.  With printers Designjet most lack of use is the cause of most of the problems with the printheads.  Also do not have the cart placed above the service station causes problems.  Example the belt has a problem for the plotter stops in the middle and the user plan nor get the fixed tracer for over 2 weeks.  This has a detrimental effect on the printhead (s) as they tend to dry out when not capped.  The correct use and fairly constant use of designjet keep the printheads for years.  I have repaired several hp Designjet printers where the print heads are more than 10 years and still works fine.  However I maintained Designjet printers where the print heads spoil in less than a year with most of them in the latest, due to lack of use.  I also perfer for guests to leave their tracers on all the time.  Less stress on the components as they go through many electrical test when the first being enabled.

  • OfficeJet 6500 printer ONLY print landscape

    Hi, I have an Officejet 6500 (E709n).  I also have Windows 7 64 bit.

I did nothing yet suddenly the printer started printing in landscape, even though my settings call for the portrait.  It has a new pop of the print window. (First default window appears select print, then it coils, then jumps to the top of the final window which is the new.) The following image is what I'm talking about.  All my settings are correctly defined and yet it still prints as shown in the picture.

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hello MomToMVS

After looking into your problem, a bit I found a thread on another forum with what appears to be exactly the same problem. Below I will include a link the the wire and instructions on what has been done to solve the problem. I would like to know if it works or not.
    Firefox default print landscape

    1. in the web in Firefox address bar type about: config and press ENTER. (it can warn you about changing settings here just click OK to continue)
    2. Locate the print.printer_NAME OF PRINTER.print_orientation (where the PRINTER NAME is the name of your printer) and right click on it and click Reset.
    3. conclusion of the tab, and try again (it may be a good idea to restart Firefox first).

  • LaserJet P1102: do not print landscape

It is surely not normal... I just said my new P1102 cannot print landscape.

I have not heard this kind of thing being said since about 1987 Symphony finally worked out how to print spreadsheets in format landscape.

    Surely this is not right?

Can peope really even printers that can't print landscape?

My problem is this, my old HP printer died recently, so I bought this new, the P1102. Worked great until I tried to print the Excel calendar in the landscape. Just wouldn't do, just do print portrait regardless of what I tried to change the settings.

Try printing landscape in other software too, but only ever printed portrait.

Can someone either help me solve this oooooor (gulp...) confirm that this new printer can not print landscape.

I am astounded that there are always done printers that can't print landscape... say it isn't so... Please...

Incredible... I answer to my own problem of forum here as Support HP were unable to help me.

My original problem was that I couldn't print any form on my new Laserjet P1102 landscape software.

I called and they told me that P1102 'n' print landscape.

    I was stunned.

Then the guy said that he was jumping on my computer to see if there was anything he could do, he did, and then confirmed my printer CANNOT print landscape.

Confused I checked then a colleague who also has a P1102 (where my purchase) who say that he has no problem printing landscape at all.

    What the...

I then noticed something... in my list of printers and devices, the new P1102 was referenced as follows:-

    XPS HP Professional Laserjet P1102...

What is XPS......? ! My colleagues didn't say that.

So I uninstalled the printer and re-installed. Now works fine and prints landscape most certainly!

No idea what is XPS or why he was there, I do not, my printer now works fine, but HOW ON EARTH, a HP technical support guys can say this printer does not print landscape is beyond me. Easy to miss the XPS thing perhaps, but I can't imagine there was a printer cannot print landscape for 30 years so why he said that I have no idea.

Thus, no faith in the team of support here, I'm afraid. Google has more help.

  • Adobe Acrobat DC stuck on printing landscape

No matter what I do, Adobe Acrobat DC insists on printing landscape. I made sure that the paper size is 8.5 "x 11". I put it to print the portrait in the printer properties, as well as in the Acrobat dialog box. It still prints landscape. I can close Acrobat DC and open the file in Acrobat Reader, and it prints portrait without any problem. After doing so, if I reopen it Acrobat DC, it displays the portrait of document, it displays the appropriate paper size and in its dialog box print it shows that the picture will be printed. Then, when I send to print, it prints landscape. It's rather tedious to create the document in Acrobat DC and have to close it in order to print in Acrobat Reader. (Did I mention that I hate "DC"? Worst version ever.)

Anyone have any ideas on how to correct this wayward child?

In the end, the only thing that has worked is a uninstall and reinstall Acrobat.

  • DesignJet T120: Is printing only part of image T120

I try to print a 17 "by 22" TIF file from a graphics program on my T120. I print on a 24 "roll, so I put the paper size to Super C/A2, which is 18 x 24. No matter how to position the image (centered on the paper, the upper left, etc.), landscape or portrait, or whether or not I put the margins, the image is always cut the same way: with 20% of the side left the printer off and about 20% of the upper part of the image not printed. What I am doing wrong? Here is a picture of the cut (top) image and the image full (below), both are Copyright (c) 2016 two generals games. :

    Hello

If the image is in fact 17 x 22 you can use paper ARK C size.

Make sure that the coding is clean and check the detected by the printer paper size
