printer all-in-one Officejet 4620

Looks like the 4620 printer has the same problem of restart with most everone. -That someone has a fix for this problem

Hello dennis1938

I understand you are having problems restarting your HP Officejet 4620. I want to offer my help in this case. The first thing I want you to do, would be for you to follow the steps in the HP Support document: The HP printer will not start up, or answer. Once you have the printer started, I would make sure that you have updated the firmware of the printer. You did not post what operating system you are running on your computer, but you can get the update of the firmware via the page HP Officejet 4620 e-all-in-one of the printer drivers . It is enough to select your operating system from the drop-down list box and click on 'Next' once that refreshing the page just scroll down and click "Firmware". Click Download and follow the instructions to ensure that you are running the latest version of the software for the printer.

This should solve your problem with your printer. Thanks for posting this topic on the Forums of HP. Have a great day!

  • Can't find model number, installation instructions for the unit duplex for printer all-in-one Officejet 6110

MY friend gave me a duplex unit to another printer 6100 series he had. We thought that it would be compatible. The HP site says that my all-in-one OfficeJet 6110 can use a duplexer, but that's all he says: no model number and no installation instruction.  Does anyone have any info or suggestions? I can't know just by looking at my printer.  (The duplexer No. FPU is C9101A).

    Thank you!

To install the duplexer, you must remove the rear blankpanel of your OJ 6110.  The rear panel will be approximately 9 "wide and 4" high with two s tab that can be moved together in the output panel.  Snap the duplexer in place once it is removed.  Make sure that it is oriented correctly, the label must be on the bottom.  Use large buttons on the ends of the duplex unit to release the duplexer if it is to be removed or moved.

With the duplex unit installed, you will need to configure it so that it is recognized by the driver.  See the post here for more information on activation of the duplexer.

  • All-in-one Officejet 4620 HP loses connection wireless network when it starts in mode 'sleep'

My printer HP 4620 all-in-one wireless works fine until it enters mode "Eve".  Once it goes into sleep mode, it is not wake up if a print job is sent to it.  If I wake up it manually by pressing the power button flashing, she does still not print.  If I've completely put off and then on again, the print job that has been put on hold on my computer will start printing, but it's a huge pain and loss of time almost everytime I want to print.  I installed all available updates.  I also assigned a static IP address in an effort to correct this, but nothing helped.  I see that others have complained about this problem, but I see not that anyone has had success resolving this.  My operating system is Windows Vista.  I use a Sys-Link Wireless G Router.  Thank you.

Ok.  My printer worked flawlessly for a few days, and I think I can declare the problem solved.  I think the problem started when I applied a HP recommended workaround for a different problem, that is, HPNetworkCommunicator.exe kept running and goes out 10-15 seconds, with the cursor displays activities whenever the program is running.  When I reversed this workaround solution, solve the problem wireless (but of course, I had once more the annoying problem with HPNetworkCommunicator.exe).  I then discovered that HP had published a software release that fixes the problem with HPNetworkCommunicator.exe.  I installed the new version of the software.  HPNetworkCommunicator.exe is now fixed, and my wireless connection remains stable even when the printer goes to sleep.

  • Printer all-in-one Officejet 5510v

My HP Officejet 5510v all-in-one printer fails to print from my computer, with an error message indicating that there is a jam. I tried to delete but cannot find any paper jam or carriage jam. I can scan, copy without problem. I can not even go to the "setup" button and type in 1 4 and print a test without problem page. But whenever I try to print something from my computer, I always get the error message. What can I try to fix this problem? Thank you, Tim

Because the hardware seems to work fine, not related a jam, the software may need to be uninstalled and reinstalled. I would like to just give a try.

I ran HPSSdr and it shows errors found and it erases Quebec, but the next time that I print, I have the same problem. The printer is connected to an Actiontec PK5000 without wire/eithernet DSL modem/router. It's a router securred with a WEP password. I reinstalled the updates that have been deleted and the problem seems to have disappeared. I had to turn and then turn the WiFi printers because I received a message to unavailable printer. After all what it seems to work now.

  • All-in-one Officejet J6480: printer Officejet J6480 on Windows 10

I've owned a printer all-in-one Officejet J6480 for a few years.  I bought a new Lenovo computer several months that came with a free to Windows Update when 10 is which would be published.  I managed to load the J6480 software and everything worked very well, including the scanner.  When Windows 10 came out I upgraded to it and rebooted the printer software and everything worked fine.

Then about two weeks ago, all the J6480 would do is printed.  When I tried to open the HP Solution Center to scan a document all I had was a 'ping' and the Center does not open.   So I tried to remove all the HP software and re - load.  It would be the load but not completely.  I kept getting the message that "the application you are trying to use has been blocked to open because it could damage your PC or the loss of data. This is because some applications that worked with a previous version of Windows may not work the same way with Windows 10 ".  I do not understand why it worked fine for a few months with 10 windows and now it's incompatible, unless there was an automatic upgrade (Windows 10 or HP) that is now causing the conflict.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software several times but to no avail.  Can anyone suggest a solution?

    Hello

Please check your history of updates of Windows 10 and remove/uninstall kb3132372

  • Cannot sweep the all-in-one Officejet 4630

Hi all - help needed please.

Recently bought a printer all-in-one Officejet 4630 and had nothing but trouble, set-up and use it. After several attempts to put in place, everything is roughly in order, though I can't yet scan of the control on the machine Panel (I can scan only through "system preferences" under the apple icon).  Whenever I try to scan the engine control panel (and not through system preferences), using either the wireless network (Airscan or whatever it's called) or the USB cable, I have the following message on my laptop screen:

    Task is not available

The task of "Photo (JPEG)" found on your device is not available on your system. Please select another task.

The same thing happens if I try to scan to PDF. I use an old (c.2007 MacBook Pro) that runs the OSX10.9.5 Mavericks. Internet connectivity is not a problem because we have the right cable broadband. All I want to do is scan directly from the printer to my computer, preferably using a wireless connection. Help, please.

    Thank you

    Hi @nckbtlr and Happy Halloween!

I'm sorry to hear about the problems you are having with your Officejet 4630. I understand that you are unable to scan from the front of the printer. I'd be happy to help you with this.

In the spirit of Halloween, first I have to ask: what did the Mummy to tell the Agent from HP Support?    Let's wrap this case up!

I suggest to uninstall and reinstall the software. Please follow the instructions below to complete a more comprehensive uninstall than basic uninstall. I know that these steps look long and convoluted, but I made it easy to follow and have confidence that these steps will solve the problem.

    Scrub / uninstall

    • Open the Applications folder > HP or Hewlett-Packard folder > Uninstall HP
    • Click continue, click on one of the printers in the list.
    • * Only perform this step if you have not all other HP printers.  Press and hold the Option, control and command, while now the three buttons.
    • Click Uninstall.

    Reset the printing system

    1. Click on the Apple icon ( ), then click on System Preferences.

  • HP officejet 6978 all in a single p: hp officejet 6978 printer all in one, appearing to create its own wifi signal

After I had my printer connected and working properly, I looked in my wireless options to connect to the internet. I have hooked the fine, but in these choices, was a connection option in/with? a hp officejet 6978 printer all-in-one. Before you buy and hanging upwards, connect this option was not there. Now, this is the case and showing a stronger than my router signal. This printer is able to be a wifi connection? Any ideas?

That's great. I see nothing in the instructions, and the seller does not mention either. It seems to me that this feature would be another selling point. I do not necessarily want to disable it. I like the idea of having him as a backup, if my current one falls down, would only be an option? If so, I tried to connect using pw of my router, but cannot connect. This would have a default PW? is so, how do I find it. So thanks for your help. As I said nothing even alluded to this function...

HOW CAN I REPLACE EXPIRED INK CARTRIDGE IN THE PRINTER ALL IN ONE HP OFFICEJET PRO L7780?

I DO NOT PRINT A LOT AND I HAVE TWO PRINTERS. THE EXPIRATION DATE ON THE CARTRIDGE, THE PRINTER DOSE NOT LET ME PRINT. I KNOW THAT THERE IS WAY TO OVERRIDE THIS PROBLEM, BECAUSE ON MY PREVIOUS PRINTER THEY REPLACES THE KEY.

The error message itself will remain but will continue to print. This message will remain until the cartridge is replaced. Substitution is the printer printing always regardless of the error message on the display screen.
