  I'll have a printing problem in one of my computers on network. The computer has a local printer and it prints all documents except the photos and emails from MS outlook. In addition, whenever I want to print a word doc, it shows an empty field in the selection of the printer have been I have to select the default printer. • Unable to connect to a printer Brother MFC - 240 c to Windows 7 computer network

  The computer of my network which is connected directly to the internet and my router is a computer running Windows Vista (32 bit). My computer is connected through the network to access the internet and the printer connected to the computer base. My computer was also under Vista and networking has worked well.

  I installed Windows 7 (64-bit, not by choice, done automatically) on my computer and now I can't connect to the printer on the Vista machine.   I'm assuming you get an error indicating that the print driver for 64-bit is not installed in the Vista machine.  You can either install a 64-bit driver that has the same name as the x 86 driver on the Win7 machine printing and reattempt the connection, install the 64-bit driver that has the same name on the Vista computer (for other 64-bit machines), but it's more difficult.

  Alternatively, you can set the machine to check Windows Update for a printer driver that has the same name as the 32-bit print driver.  If gpedit.mcs run for the version of Windows you have.

  If there is no matching driver name, you cannot make a RPC connection, but you can create an SMB connection.  Search for Local Port.  There are many posts on this.

  OK, so I installed a printer/scanner/copier (Brother MFC-240 c) and my (Dell Studio 1749) system became slow insainly! so I restarted. then the Windows Aero effect disappeared and that basic services has begun. so, basically is started in Mode safe without the trunk. I couldn't do anything requiring a parameter system, or something of the sort. I tried to restore it and I got a message that the required services could not be started! that has been the standard message for everything. I got it somehow to start as it should, but now Kaspersky is sayign databases are corrupted and I can't understand it. Well. But what I would do if it were to happen again? I finally restored the 17/09/10 somehow. IM fine with the way it is now, but I want to what to do if that should ever happen again, and what I can do to prevent it. any help would be amazing! Thank you!!!

  Just installed new cartridges of magenta and cian in my Officejet 6500 a.  Ink levels show as complete but no cartridge is printed.

  You still have the old cartridges?

  If Yes, try to install and see if the same issue exists. If they still have enough ink to be seen on the page, so it may be a problem with the print head.

  I'm not sure that my last post has been saved while this might be a repeat.   I am trying to install a brother to my computer printer windows laptop 8.  I installed the software and downloaded the drivers on the brother site.  My computer seems to recognize the printer but when I get to the screen asking me to plug the printer with a usb cord I do and nothing happens.   I checked the connections and restarted both machines.  Don't know what else to do.  Thanks for your help
