  • W7 driver for deskjet 5652 with auto duplxer

    Hello

Our PC have been updated with W7, and the driver generic does not reconise that the printer, a Deskjet 5652 has a duplexer car attached. I installed the drivers from the disc that came with the machine, and while the printer properties now allow you to select two-sided printing, the printer does not really work the task. As a work of art on documents, whether a shape or clipart images do not print the document. How can I get the required software / driver that solves these problems? It's crazy to expect customers to empty a perfectly good printer to buy a compatible new!

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

First of all, be sure to unplug the printer and uninstall all incompatible software installed from the disk provided with the machine.

You can remove the software installed via Control Panel > programs and features > uninstall a program and then restart your PC.

Enter the control panel > devices and printers.

    Click Add a printer.

    Select a local printer.

Leave the default selection and click Next.

Under the list of printers, click Windows Update .

Allow several minutes (it may take some time) until the Printers list if poster again, then put an end to the addition of a window of the printer.

Plug in the printer and wait until the device appears under printers.

Right-click the printer icon, and then click printer properties.
    Click the device settings tab.
In Duplex Automatic Two-Sided accessory installed and click OK to save the change.

Automatic duplex printing should now available.

Please let me know of any problems,

  • HP Deskjet 3051 a model J611H: printer is in an error state

For months after a cross-country skiing, I couldn't set up the function wireless on my printer (he had already worked with no problem). After a factory reset my router yesterday, it is finally connected to my home network. I tried to print a test page to make sure that everything worked properly and I got the following message on my computer:

"The printer is in an error state. Please solve the error of the device and try again. »

There is no error message on the screen of the printer itself, however. The menu normal forms of copy/scanning/quick is in place. The printer menus say he is connected to the network and gives me the IP address to which it is connected. I was able to print the 'printer status report"directly from the printer, so I know that it can print at least somehow.

Is it possible to fix this?

    Hello

You can see any difference using Jetdirect instead of Hello?

    Hi Jason,

Thank you for your help. I managed on the basis to solve the problem by following these steps.

I installed the printer deskjet 990c on the computer windows XP windows drivers (even if the printer is a deskjet 5652.

I shared the printer deskjet 990c on the network. I then installed the printer Deskjet 990c by adding a network printer on the computer windows 7. It extracted the drivers of 990c and the problem is solved. I am now able to print from my computer windows 7, fool the computer on which it is printing to the printer of 990c although it is in fact the 5652 printer printing.

  • Scanner will not connect to my printer HP deskjet 3050

I recently bought a printer HP Deskjet 3050 all-in-One series, scanner copier J611 a.  My operating system is Vista 64.  I received the error message is "Scanner not connected to the computer."  Everything worked, and then all of a sudden the scanner no longer works (print and copy of the works).  I tried to use the printing HP and Dr. Scan to try to solve the problems, but it did not help.  I also tried other solutions I found on the HP site.  Finally, I just uninstalled and reinstalled.  It did not help.  I can still print and copy but will not scan.  I need the scanner, more than anything I have an another printer/copier HP that I can use.

I tried to analyze using the Wi - Fi connection but couldn't. I have not tried to use MS Paint. I saw in another thread, the proposition that, using a key USB cable might work and I tried it and it worked. It's a little embarrassing, but the key is that I can scan now. Thank you very much.

I have tryied hard reset the error is still there. But if I change the wifi network, to another (another wifi router), all things are fine, the printer connects well, error will detect and can be used. Also, if I use the printer with the usb connection, the printer works.

The only time where it gives the above error is to connect to my ISP router. The router is a router/modem Ubee EVW3226.

    Hello

I solved my problem. Called my ISP support and it seems that the UBEE router/modem has a bug of incompatibility with certain HP printers. They changed my modem/router with another (Cisco this time) and I get no more error.

  • Problem with printer HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3515

Hello. First of all, I would like to wish all a happy new year!

I recently bought a printer HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3515. The printer works fine (prints, scans, and copies). There is only one problem with it. It returns me an error when I l ' turn off. This happens very often, but not always, it is a little annoying. The error appears as: ERROR CODE SM_MODULE C 0X02B7C2ED (the error is also shown on the image). I tried to Google the problem but without effects. I don't know what could be the problem. Can someone help me please, because I have no idea what could be the problem. Thanks for the replays.

This problem has been resolved. It was my router D - Link DIR-615 which was causing the problem all the time. When I changed the router to another at the beginning of the printer stop normally.

  • Impossible to copy and scan on all-in-one printer, HP Deskjet F4180.

I can't make a copy and scan on the surface of the glass of my printer HP deskjet F4180 all-in-one. The printer says: error in the copy menu and seeing red flashes on color and black. However, I am able to print from my laptop and a pop-up message would be in my laptop showing the ink cartridges (black and color) are placed incorrectly. Check the ink cartridges, both are in their right place and broken up. Need help... Please.

I found this document which decodes what mean flashing lights.  There are a lot of different codes described, but I found a heading "question: one or two of the lights blink check print cartridge" which seems to be what's going on your printer.  Basically it's saying that the cartridges are out of alignment or defective.  If the document is not help clarify, let me know and I'll see what I can find.

  • DeskJet Ink Advantage 3545: 3545 Deskjet HP errors

    Hi all

I have two problems with my HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545.It is connected via the wireless network.

One began two months ago. It was a mistake to NOS_Loader_App 0X83C0000A. I found a way around this problem simply disconnect the printer of decision-making, by restarting the computer and turn on the printer again. If the printer was on, the error doesn't happen until the printer is turned on and turn it on again.

However four days ago there was a power outage in my area. When the power supply has been restored the printer started showing an "error code 0XB3707004, I couldn't"solve"or work around for two days. The printer has been disconnected overnight and today I tried my luck. The result is that the printer is now running.

Is there a solution to avoid these problems? A reinstall and restore to the default settings solve the problem? And what should I do, if this problem occurs again?

Thanks in advance for your answers

    Frank91

Hi @Frank91and welcome to the Forums of HP!

I'd be happy to help you to answer the question that you should take a preventive measure to protect your printer from the mistakes regarding. First of all, you have the printer connected directly to a wall outlet or is it in a bar protector or surge rating? Even if you have used a surge protector/power bar this whole time and you feel that this is not the case, please connect to a wall outlet so that we can eliminate the source of energy as the primary cause.   Questions when it is connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power

In this document, you will see, QUESTION: questions or problems may arise when a HP LaserJet printer is connected to a UPS (UPS), a power strip or a surge protector

↑ This is not limited to the Laserjet printers.

The power supply is usually one of the main causes of many problems that can occur. If the problem persists, I suggest performing a hard reset. To do this, leave the printer and unplug the power cable for 1 minute. While it is unplugged, press and hold the power button on the printer for 10-15 seconds to release built his power, then after the minute, plug the printer in.

If it meets your needs, please consider tagging this post as solved by clicking accepted as Solution below and others can find the answer more effectively.

  • DeskJet 5652 under Windows 7 - scalling useless when using autoduplexer

    Hello

I am very disappointed about Windows 7 drivers for DeskJet 5652 printer. Drivers have some bugs:

When I printed the document on both sides of the paper (with automatic duplex unit) printer do some page scalling (it increases the margins at the top and bottom of the page) - impression seems strange because all that the page is a bit shorter, also fonts like Times New Roman, Arial, etc looks like... strange, different because of this unnecessary scalling. It only happens when I use the auto duplexer.

I tried to fix it myself. I tried to change the print processor in the settings of the printer of hpzppwn7 to winprint and got partial success - printer doesn't no matter what scalling (using the duplexer) but something else does not-number of copies. When I change the number of copies from 1 to i. e. 3 in the windows printer window and also in the advanced drivers tab - it does not print only one copy. This parameter is ignored in winprint.

Please fix these problems, because this printer is useless in Windows 7... It is very unfortunate, it is not that old!

You plan out an another Windows 7 drivers for this printer? Maybe some fix?

Greetings and thanks for your help!

    * PrintableOrigin: PAIR (150, 83)
    * CursorOrigin: PAIR (150, 83)

Can you explain these three parameters: PrintableArea, PrintableOrigin, and CursorOrigin? What do these numbers mean?

I think that the solution to my problem is in these numbers...

    What do you think?

You have the possibility to compare these numbers with HP Windows XP drivers?

I don't have access to the Windows XP driver settings, they are not as "readable" as Vista or Windows 7 gpd files.  The above figures are the page dimensions in units of 1/1200 ".  The top left of the page is (0,0).  In the example above the beginning of the printable area is 150 (83) or 0.125 "from left edge and 0.07" down from the top.  The lower edge of the printable area is the printable origin as well as the printable area.  "This ends (13269 + 83) / 1200 or 11,13", leaving a margin of 0.57 down "on A4 size paper.  Sounds a bit heavy, I think 0.46 "the bottom margin would be satisfactory.

The printible origin is the upper-left corner of the area to print in portrait mode, it would be the top right of the page if printing landscape.

If you want to "tweak" the DPG file I suggest to take a glance at the instructions to install the patch Vista Duplex printing here. Basically, you want to make a copy of the DPG file and make the necessary changes.  Then you will need to open an administrative command prompt, rename the original gpd file for backup and a copy of the new file.  You will need to stop the spooler, delete all the hp*.bud files, then restart the spooler.  This will cause the DPG file to read and bud files to regenerate.  The number you want to change would be the second number in the pair of the printable area.  You might try to increase the number of courses that move the margin from the bottom to the low 0.09 ", leaving a margin of 0.46 108 lower."  You can also experiment with other numbers, but at some point, you will hit the physical limit of the size of the paper.

  • Problem printing HP Deskjet 895Cxi

I bought a printer cable, USB-parallel (printer connection) in order to print from my laptop to a printer HP Deskjet 895Cxi (connecting to the computer).  My operating system is Windows Vista.  I installed the printer driver, then peripheral system is ready for use.  I sent a doc to the printer (several times) but not logs of printing and printer "print - error".  I checked "printer troubleshooting" but could not find the cause.  I reinstalled the driver a couple of times and also rebooted my computer.

If anyone has had this problem or knows what could be causing the error?

    Honey says:

USB-parallel converters are problematic for Vista, I've heard many cases where they have not worked and very few where they do.

The Deskjet 895 has a USB connection, it is not necessary to use a converter.  You can connect a cable directly, as shown on page 18 of the Manual here.  The USB connector is just above the parallel port on the printer.  I suggest to disconnect the USB / parallel, go to the Printers folder and delete the DEskjet 895, then plug the USB cable from the printer and Vista should automatically install the printer.

  • HP Officejet 5740: Msg 'printer is in an error state.

    Hello

I have a 5740 which is defined as a remote wireless printer by itself in my home network.

Recently, I received the message 'printer is in an error state' when I press print and found out the print job will be lance automatically, only after I turned the printer off and restarted. What happened several times. I tried to use HP & Doc Scan printing, but this did not help.

Appreciate your advice on the following points: -.

    1. What is the cause for this?

    2. connecting the printer via the USB port on my HP All in one PC would help eliminate this recurring issue?

    3. If Yes, should I uninstall the printer software first?

    4. always print wireless from my laptop or mobile devices when the printer is connected via a cable to my PC?

What do I have to uninstall and reinstall the software for printing these devices as well?

    5. when I reinstalled the software, it come a last step where it will ask me to register so far HP ink. As I have already registered for the program, what should I do to allow me to complete the installation of the software without duplicating a new series of HP ink instant registration?

    Thank you.

    Hi @Chrissy_61,

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your printer problem.

I understand that you use a HP Officejet 5740 e-all-in-one printer with a Windows 10 computer and you need to restart the printer to clear a State of 'error', so the printer will print. I would like to help with that.

There are also a few different reasons why something like this can happen. It could possibly be network or firewall related, or maybe even related software.

I would like to begin by downloading and running the tool HP Print and Scan Doctor to check the installed printer software. This tool can diagnose and solve many problems of printing software and printer.

You can also check to make sure that the printer firmware is up-to-date. On the Control Panel Home screen controle control printer, drag your finger from right to left on the screen and select Setup. In the menu select Maintenance of the printerconfiguration, and then select update of the printer, and then look for the updates of the printer.

If the printer doesn't have the printing problem with PC and not with cell phones and mobile devices, you can try following the steps described in this document of support - printer is offline (Windows).

If you plan to use a USB between PC and the printer connection, you do not need to uninstall the software, you just remove the printer devices and printers on the computer and connect the USB cable.

You can always the printer wirelessly with other devices if you have a computer with a USB cable.

Finally, you need not re-register with the HP Instant ink. You can close the windows when they open after you have installed the software.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

Indeed, if this help you to achieve a solution please click the 'accept as Solution' and the 'thumbs up' buttons down below in this message.

  • Printer HP Deskjet 980cxi, drivers W7

For 3 windows 7 pc that needs to be in a special issue separate LAN I want to install the most recent drivers for the old but still work printer HP Deskjet 980cxi .

The only way to do that seems to be online. but these PCs are not accepted on the internet due to specific restrictions. How can I download and install the correct drivers with use of a usb key?

    Hello ArnoldJan,
    Welcome to the HP Forums.

Unfortunately for the Windows 7 operating system, there is no software available that could even be downloaded and moved. This printer is installed through the Windows updates (installation of the printer software in Windows 7 for a USB cable connection), which means that these computers requiring an Internet connection.

If you can somehow push updates, this can work. Other wise, there may be a work around, but I am not sure it will work.

You can try the base plug & play, to see if the computer recognizes the printer itself. If it isn't then you will need a driver. You can then go to start > device/printers > add a printer > choose existing port (must list what the printers trendy) > select HP in the left panel, then check if the 980 is displayed on the right. If it is not try the Deskjet 9800 (it's a generic driver). It would be the only work around for not going online.

I hope that works and is useful for you. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums.
