printer is not online

When I try to print anything from a word document or internet I get a message that says that my printer is offline. However, the blue light is on and I'm connected to the internet. Is sometimes if I turned off the printer and sauté until it prints by not all the time. I have not taken down and reinstalled the software several times but it is guard happening.

From your previous posts, I see that you use the HP OfficeJet 4360 printer. Are you still using this printer?

What is the name and the product number of your printer? How can I find my model number or product number?

Here is a document that I recommend that you try, HP printers - "offline" Status Message printer (Windows 8).

In the meantime, download and run the print and Scan doctor, it will be probably diagnose and fix the problem you are experiencing. What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (she print or scan, error messages)

    I wonder if someone can help me. I recently bought a new laptop from toshiba with Windows 8. The printer I have is HP PSC 1110. I have the drive and installed successfully to a degree. It prints, but it is not the scanner. When I opened the Photo and imaging HP program to analyze, it opens but regular icons are simply small squares without links or even the text. So the scan button does not work on the printer and there is no option to analyze when the program is opened - just those strange little squares where the menus and options should be. Also, if I click on a photo to open it in the program, I get the error message "could not start - Ctxld # Hewlett - Packard Pei HPQTHB08 «with the name of photo file to open the here.jpg «»

    I tried to reinstall it and I also tried printer install HP PSC 1110 for Windows 8, but at the end of installation, I get the message "the selected printer is not currently supported by this wizard.

    Can anyone help or do I really have to get a new printer?

    I checked and this printer doesn't have a driver of Windows 8 for him, which explains why you cannot scan using the software of the printer.  Here is a document on how to get a generic driver: 'install a driver of Windows 8' that may be useful.

    I had used my LaserJet MFP Pro wireless without problem for several years, with the Mavericks and Yosemite.  A few weeks ago a "update" the printer system is invisible.  After several hours of troubleshooting and to try five or six corrections, I finally got the printer online by using the IP address.

    Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support.  I understand that you get an error message when you try to add your printer to your HP ePrint app on your mobile device.

    If you get this error message when you try to add the printer to the application using the ePrint printer e-mail address, then follow the steps below.

    1. Please delete the app on your mobile device.
    2. Please turn off your camera mobile for a total of 30 seconds, and then power back on, please.
    3. Once your mobile device has completed its startup routine please download and install the application again.
    4. Please activate the application using your personal email address.
    5. After the activation of the application please try to add the printer by its address of email ePrint.
    6. If you still get any error message then, please call HP Cloud Services at 1-855-785-2777 if you live in the USA/Canada region. If you do not live the USA/Canada region, please click here to find the number of Technical Support for your country/region.

  • 8600, connected HP says there is a problem but the printer does not work

    I try to use a 8600 e - all - in - one. It replaced a 8500 who has never had a problem with eprint to an email address or as a printer of google cloud.

    To solve the google cloud printing problem, I disabled the Web Services and then reset the default wireless property. When I went through the Setup Wizard again, it gave me a new code of acceptance. I got to hpConnected and then added the printer to the Google Cloud Print/HP dialogue page.

    Now, things work as expected.

    * Hard reset of the printer by unplugging the device, disconnect the other end of the power cord from the wall outlet, separates the power cord of the power supply, wait 30 seconds and plug it back up.

When I try to print a document in word turned off the laptop lenovo (is no longer the wifi connected to the printer, but lasts connection via USB), the printer starts on page, seems to be printing, but the page is empty.

    At some point during the realization of the driver install the message appeared that _? is not supported by windows vista.

    I downloaded the driver for wifi unrelated photosmart c3150 printer for vista 32-bit and installed, the short version, I also did the same thing for the version full... same results.

    You have tried most the steps mentioned in the document, but please try once more.

    Additionally, make sure that you disable the antivirus and firewall programs just to make sure that these programs do not block the detected printer.

    Note: You must enable the /firewall antivirus as soon as you've done troubleshooting. If this is not the case, your computer will be vulnerable to viruses.
