Printer multifunction duplex in scan option

Hello together,

I m looking for a new hp all-in-one solution. A must have feature is the duplex function via ADF for analysis. The problem is that I find only statements in textbooks as. According to the model, it is possible.

Like the model No. is not allude doesn´t help.

Especially I m interested in the HP 7590 or the new HP 8500.

Thanks for your help.

Obviously, you'll find more posts by those who can not get the printer to work with Vista. Not many people will post their printer is WORKS WELL with Vista. But I can assure you that L7000 series works with Vista, and 8500 series. If this is the first time that you install a product HP on your PC, then you should be fine.

What is the brand and model number. the printer?

    You have 32-Bit or 64-Bit Windows 7?

  • 4630 States install is complete, print/scanning doctor says otherwise. prints/copies but no scan option

Bought new 4630 to replace 5610, given that several errors occurred for reasons any.  I followed the instructions and thought this would be a quick installation, as with other printers.  It will print and copy, but no scan option.  (Did not fax yet.)  I installed Windows 7.  Had similar problems with 5610 as well as other errors, then I would try a printer wireless of thought.

    * When I installed the software, it says that it's over.  However, when I use the print and Scan doctor, select my printer, it says that "the comprehensive software solution for your product is not installed on this computer.  I tried to install it using the button 'Install software' that is displayed, as well as the CD.  Neither solved the problem... after uninstall/install/reboot several times.

    * When you try to connect to the computer, I received the error "the printer could not be installed on the network."  (Did not work with wireless or USB.)  However, the printer displays Print and the doctor Scan and the computer recognizes when trying to download the software.  What is the problem?

    * I have read in the HP Support to go to the HP folder, click 4630, then under Advanced Options, click Manage scanning to the computer.  Options analysis is not displayed under 4630.  Is it because of installation problems?

I spent hours trying to solve this problem, specifically the scan function.  After having spent all that time by reading the forums and the Googling, thought that just after my own.  Getting very frustrated considering this usually takes only a few minutes.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!

    3. Re-install using the printer HP install wizard for Windows.

  • All-in-one Officejet Pro 8610: 8610 Pro HP Printing Assistant has no Scan Options

Recently installed new software last 8610 and downloaded.  Not install the option to order ink automatically.

The device uses the ATF feeder to reproduce documents, but did not during the scanning - it assumes that the document is on the glass, while feeder warning tones and the display Panel recognizes that a document is in the charger.  I went to the computer and access to the HP printer Assistant by some other items, but see that I don't have any options for scanning under HP printer Assistant. I ran HP Update for this printer and it says my software is up to date.

    What Miss me?

    Hello

Thanks for the comments, it seems that, somehow, older drivers are in conflict with the 8610 causes the scan communication error.

Glad to see everything is working now.

  • Office Jet 6700 - vertical lines on printing via Alice only & scan option.

See the previous description. Vertical lines show you when along the ADF or auto power. No request 'print' or a page on the glass. And then there is no lines. In addition, I cut such power as listed in the book without success. Unit is out of warranty. I cleaned the rollers here and there. Options now... Thanks for your comments. J

This is probably due to a file specification on the lenses used for the analysis of the ADF.  This glass is on the left hand side, about 1 "wide.  Clean this area as shown in the document here.

  • 'no scan options' on OfficeJet 7210 all in one

I'm unable to solve a problem getting an Office Jet 7210 printer all-in-one to scan to a laptop HP Pavillion with Vista Home premium.

The printer prints very well and very many faxes.  It does not analyze.  I deleted and loaded the new software and interpreted instructions on the tray upward.  It did not help.

I have atttempted to use the HP Solution Center for printers and it identifies the printer and software.  It will not go in order once it displays the software and the connection of the printer.

The printer is always 'no scan options '.  I have a short USB cable that is in great shape, connect the all-in-one printer to the laptop.  I have played all of the trouble shooting on a number of HP and associate directors.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi @jarthuroriginal,

I see that you are having problems with not being able to scan. I will do my best to help you with this problem.

Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet and the USB cable is connected directly to the computer. The USB cable should not be more then 6 feet.

I've provided the URL for the updates of the printer. HP Officejet 5610xi all-in-One Printer Drivers.

Choose your operating system, click Next and click on the update available.

Here is a document with a few steps to try to see if this will solve the problem.

"Scanning device could not be initialized" and related analytical Error Messages is displayed for HP printers.

If you need help, let me know.

    Good day!
    Thank you.

  • OfficeJet j4680 State there is no scan option

My printer is correctly installed and the message scan is no. OPTIONS ANALYSIS

    Hi JZ,.

You can't have the 'base' installed printer.  For easy and full of scanning options, you need the 'full package', that is, the software feature complete for this printer.

If you can not get the software of full functionality for your operating system, you may be able to use Windows Fax and Scan.  It's primitive compared to other options, but at least it works.  The feature is available on Windows 7.

Be aware that sizes for the full feature software download can be very important (about 110 MB approximately 390 MB)-take this into account if you have a slow internet connection.

I have included below the instructions you need (and more):

    ====================================================================================

Install the printer driver / software

If your printer doesn't work anymore (and this isn't a hardware problem), it may be because of software or driver issues.  There are tools to help you diagnose the problem and help documents to guide you to success.

You might just want extra features for your printer, or need additional tools to help the scheduled maintenance.

In many cases, you can (re) install the full features software for your printer to improve its capabilities.  The HP Solution Center is an integral part of the FFS.  For e-print, you can e-print software.

If you have the CD that came with your printer, use it to install the printing software.  If you do not have the CD, or if the software on the CD is outdated, you can use the installation online tools.

(Re) install the driver software HP printer full-functionality or other basic software for your printer:

Drivers hardware order connected to the computer (wired or wireless).

Software control programs that interact with the user.

    • Go to the top of the forum page for

      Support home

    • Enter your printer model informationand then go to the drivers and software...
    • Enter your operating system from the menu drop-down...  Click NEXT and scroll down
    • Find the category driver - software product installation
    • Select the appropriate basic pilot, e-print, or the full functionality of the software, if applicable
    • Save the installation on your computer package *.exe

    Optional:

    • Find the category utility-Diagnostic tools
    • Select "HP Print and Scan Doctor" - save the package on your computer.
    • NOTE name and location the file when you save the file (s).  The *.exe files will save probably for the "folder"downloads. "
    • Install the software / driver installation package (s).  Install utilities first, as appropriate.
    • If you have control of "Admin", you can highlight the package and "double-click on ' to install it, otherwise just right-click, select"Run as Administrator"and install.

    NOTES:

    • Download and install the driver software before connecting the USB cable.
    • Once installation is complete, remember to check and install the relevant updates - check the category - updated

Sometimes there is a lot of information on the Web site, including manuals, how-to pages and alerts for your printer.  Be sure to take a comprehensive look at what's available.

Thanks Bob

I tried all these people... my problem is supposed to be up to the next level at HP and they call me when they find a solution... no more waiting... I'm at $ 300 for the all-in-one with piss poor supported.  I'll buy a Kodak all-in-one and I will never buy another HP product as long as I live!  That's a promise!  Thanks to all who responded... • No scan option does not appear when I try to scan

I have an officejet 4315 all in one. using windows 7. an error indicating "no scan option" message when I try to scan. the fax and copier work so I am confused. tried to download a new driver. According to hp, windows 7 will automatically download the driver for me. It's so frustrating.

As you use this printer with Windows 7 and there is no software for your printer that supports Windows 7, you will not be able to scan using the front of the printer.  This document shows which buttons will you and will not work with Windows 7.  This document will show you how to scan from the computer without the software being installed.  Hope that helps.

  • Officejet 6310 says 'No. Scan Options' and there is no SUN

I have an Officejet 6310xi connected by USB to my Dell computer. I use Windows XP (with Service Pack 3).

I downloaded the base (no software) on the site of hp drivers. I can print and copy on the officejet. When I try to scan it says "no Scan Options". The digital imaging monitor is not visible in the system tray. If I run msconfig the SUN is not in the start menu, either.

When I run the Scan Diagnostic Utility V 1.5, it detects problems with PML service, registry Mismatch and HP Digital Imaging Monitor.

When I run "Difficulty", it can't find C:\Program HP Imaging\bin\hpqtra08.exe. There is no file by that name (hpqtra08.exe) on this computer.

While I had the CD with all the software and drivers, it is not at this place. Should I order another CD or is there an alternative? I don't have Norton 360 running and I understand reading this could affect the download drivers, but I'm not enough common sense to know how to temporarily disable firewalls, etc. That is why the CD solution is attractive for me. Needless to say, a free solution would be even better! Thanks for any help.

You have downloaded only the basic drivers, I think that you will need to download the full functionality so & drivers for scanning to work
