I bought the printer (e-all-in-one printer HP Officejet Pro 8610) in January 2015.  The printer was working properly - fax, copy and scan, until two days ago.  Now, it doesn't print at all.  Received an error code: "0xc19a0013" (missing or does not have the print head).  An expanded version of the error code reads: "the print head seems to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed.  Error: 0xc19a0013.   The printer uses a removable printhead, HP Ink cartridges (black) 950 and 951 (cmy).  I used the diagnosis of HP support recommendations: all software and firmware for this printer is installed. HP ink cartridges are not low or empty; remove the printhead ink cartridges and reinstall them.

There are several steps in the recommendation of troubleshooting, but I stopped to lift the printhead.  Because of my technical inexperience, and there were too many ceveats (attention, attention, proper relocation and etc..)  with the removal of the print head which could cause problems more serious.  Then, I stopped to remove and clean the print head.  Also, used the doctor to Scan printer HP for assistance. Tool to clean the printhead does not.   What worries me most with the 0xc19a0013 error code is his explanation: the print head seems to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed.  I can use all the help I can get to understand what is happening with the error code that I received and the resolution of the printer malfunction.

  • HP Officejet 7610: Print the task remains stuck in the queue

I want to install a 7610 Deskjet to print via WiFi on my home network to a windows PC 10.

It prints pages test locally, and the computer (preferences Print - print a Test Page).

It still prints the first document, but that the document never leaves the print queue. His status will be 'print' and sometimes size will show that all the file has been sent (e.g. 123/123 MB and sometimes it will show almost all has been sent (for example 120 MB / 123 MB).)

The doctor Print (v4.9) downloaded and installed: HPSupportSolutionsFramework - 12.5.26.37.exe. The print doctor always reports "Print queue problem solved" and remove the blocked entrance. I can clear the error by deleting files to print that and restart the print spooler service. However it only lets me exactly a document more having to restart the print spooler.

Tried to use an other PC Win10, same symptoms

Printing a small text file or print a Page of Test works, but any file to print several pages fails. A tried. PDF. Docx, Web page of the Chrome or edge and all fail.

The printer give you a warning when the health of the print head is low, but it will continue to print.

  • Office Jet Pro 8500: alignment fails

I tried to reset the printer, but it always comes up with message alignment failed.  Whenever I try to print it starts the alignment process, although she finished the satisfactory print job.  Outside the aspec your time, it wastes a lot of ink.

    Hi Alwyn,

When you reply to a post there is an option to attached below your text window.  You can scan the alignment and save it to your hard drive, and then look where you saved to attach to your message.

However, I don't really see it.

I think that the error you get told you that a print head is missing.

I don't know how to stop the error from happening than to clean the printhead step 5 in this document:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-OfficeJet-Pro-8500A-e-all-in-one-printer-series---A910/4083864/document/c04855186/

If that doesn't correct not alignment does not error, you can check if your printer has a replaceable print head.  Step 6 in the document.

Ok.  Once remove you / reinstall the print head, try to clean the printheads via the printer software.

  • HP Officejet 6500 a: align the printheads

There is no black printing when printing a document.  I changed all 4 cartirdges, cleaned the heads but always without success.  When I go to SNAP PRINTHED I get an ALIGNMENT FAILURE error message.  REFER TO THE DOCUMENTATION FOR THE DEVICE FOR MORE DETAILS.

    Hello @rbletsch,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that your HP Officejet 6500 a e-all-in-one printer does not print in black. In addition, after having replaced all 4 cartridges, the alignment is a failure on your Officejet. I would like to help you to solve this problem today. Misalignment normally associated with print head. The print head of your machine is which "reads" your cartridges and ink to go on the control document. If the print head is defective in your HP Officejet printing system is corrupt and you need a replacement of the printhead to fix this. A defective print head would cause also no black print. That being said, I'm going to run through some troubleshooting steps to resolve this problem of ink black and alignment.

To begin troubleshooting, please click here. When opens the document of support please do run Solution three, four, solution and five Solution. This includes all sub-steps under three listed Solutions. If the problem persists, replace the print head would be the next step.

If your HP Officejet is out of warranty, I recommend checking out the @Bob_Headrickpost: black ink does not because there are useful measures to soak the printhead to remove the excess ink that could block the ink black and causing finally alignment to fail.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. I look forward to hear from you!

  • All-in-one HP Photosmart C309a "Alignment failed" error message even after cleaning the print heads, etc.

About 3 weeks ago before making the error msg above, a large black ink blob appeared on my printed piece of paper.  This product for several sheets later, but kept decreasing in amount.  I continued to print & finally all traces of ink have disappeared.  2 days ago I got a msg of error on "load plain white paper. ", but the paper tray was plain white paper in it.  I have removed the paper, straightened and her successor. As a result, the msg "Alignment failed" appeared.  I went through all the steps HP online information on the treatment of the "alignment failed", including the cleaning of the printheads (the right amount of ink was on it), check the vents of cartridge, etc.  My question is: if I have 4 out of colored inks and a new black ink installed, the alignment is being affected by the old cartridges?  A msg on this appeared on the Control Panel, giving the opportunity to proceed with the old cartridges or install new ones, but be careful that it "cannot allow completion of...» "If 'old' were replaced not.  I need to replace these color cartridges or is it probably another problem, which is print head damaged?

Checked the evacuation & there is no problem, so I tried the informal solution to put the printhead in hot water.  A ran 1 cleaning via / configuration on the printer and finally aligned with success tools.  I waited a while to respond because I wanted to see if the printer should continue to work, and there!

Thank you very much.  I'm happy that I can keep this printer!

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500 wireless: HP Officejet Pro 8500 W (A909g) 'alignment failed, refer to devicedocumentation for more details'

I get a lack of alignment. I have replace the printheads and ink cartridges, but it always fails to align...

The print quality test page print well and seems good... the line calabrate page break will print and look good...

But when he tries to do the alingment... He quickly spit a page with only a few color line worm at the top of emphasise the full alignment... page after I spit that... He's sitting there for a few minutes... making his usual noise, but said failure.

I did all three levels of print heads clean... Despite them being new...

It will print things very well, but I get a monotube color alignment page after each draw with message of misalignment.

    Hey @ataktos,

Welcome to the HP forums! I hope you enjoy your stay here.

I see that your Officejet 8500 W gives you alignment failure messages. I can help with that.

I found a document that can help you with troubleshooting. The document was intended for a slightly different question, but the diagnosis is the same. You can find it by clicking on this link.

If this still does not resolve your problem, then we can try a factory reset the printer. I will send you a private message on how to reset the printer shortly. If you still have problems after that then the printer will have to be replaced. You can contact the HP Support by clicking this link. If you scroll down on the next page and fill out the form you will find the telephone number of HP.

I hope this helps and I hope you have a nice day!

  • 8500 printhead problem?

recently, the printer after 3 pages 'runs' ink (all colors). I replaced the cartridges and the problem always reappears. I cleaned the print heads for 3 cycles by the al. Each time, the little ink on paper gts lighter than anything. It is said to replace the printheads. My question is: is this really the print head? I see there are therefore two print heads, what canb my possible problem e. ? I don't want to replace the print heads and then find that I still have the problem. Two print heads also fail art simultaneously?

    Any suggestions?

None of the suggestions of the HP service guide worked. . I realized that the two print heads 'need replacing. It does not seem logical that the two print heads fail at the same time. I have "washed the printhead with a q-tip. This still does not have the problem. I downloaded the latest version of the software and that did the trick. He realigned the printhead and the printer works perfectly.
