printing resolution

Hi Im using laserjet p1102w. is it possible to set the parameters of the printer to fastres 300? The options available are only currently 600 and 1200.

Thank you.

No, wuser, there is not a way to change the parameter fastres to 300, you're just the options available only to are 1200 and 600 on this printer.

I hope this information is useful!

I have a HP Mini which, up to a month or two ago, communicates very well with my printer HP Photosmart 7450. Then suddenly they stopped communicating. When I put a memory card in the printer, it will open a box on the computer. But not vice versa. • Change the print resolution 300 IDPS will result in lower quality?

Hello. I have a small question for the printing resolution. I have an image of the size of the 93 "x 141" at 72 DPI resolution. I can change this picture of this size:

    34 "x 23" to 300 DPI

In Photoshop, I see the selection of the size of the Image and is only there where I would like to change the size and the resolution I want? If I change the size of the size and resolution (93 "x 141" at 72 dpi ) original, it is always good for printing?

    Thanks for the tips!

What matters is the size in pixels. Two formats that you displayed have roughly the same pixel dimension. At this resolution, you shouldn't have a problem with the quality.

If your printer has an option to choose a different quality of paper, try that instead.

  • OfficeJet pro 8600: not possible to change the scanning of the Panel of the printer resolution settings

With my Officejet pro 8600, there is no possibility to change the scanning resolution settings when you are working in the control panel of the printer (not present button to touch) when I want to scan to the computer, while in the manual it is mentioned that, after pressing the Document Type, it should be possible to reach the resolution to change the resolution of the scan setting. On the other hand, when the scan to a memory card the button change the resolution settings is present.

Sometimes for the scanning of all computers to select (winXP SP3 installed on it). The HP printing software is installed on all computers and manage digitization to the computer is turned on. It is possible to change the resolution settings when using my computer with the HP printing software, but as I said not in the use of the printer.

Thank you to help you solve the problem!

    Hey mk75053,

Scanning to memory card has the parameters of resolution through the front because that is the only way for the device perform this type of analysis.  However, to change the resolution settings for the Scan of the computer, one will have to perform scans through the software installed on the PC.

I have all three types of 8600 models where I am located (base, more high quality) and of all printers simply ask to start the analysis after selecting the scan type.

    I hope this helps.

  • HP Officejet 6500 All - in - One 709 a printhead printer resolution

I want to thank Bob Headrick for his suggestion to soak the print head in warm water for 10 minutes.  It was a fantastic idea.  It does not solve the problem with my printer.

I'm glad that I could help him.  For others looking for the solution for black not printing on the Officejet 6500 a, see the document here.  (Be sure to check the events on solution 6.)  If this does not resolve the problem then soak the printhead as shown in this post can help.

  • Why can't I enter a print resolution?

So I don't print many large prints. I have a good offer to hang some large prints on screen though and I will do a few not dear costco of 20 x 30. I shoot with a Canon 6 d. 240 DPI. When I export these images on my mac to download at costco, should I leave the Res to 240ppi in the export area? I know a lot of people said 300 DPI no ppi, and I can't always grasp while it is still important. I read this isn't, but I also read if you export at costco 240 suréchantillonne 300 place lightrooms sampling is far better. Can someone finally resolve this confusion for me?

    > And now I'm confused again. Why would I want high-end? Site Web Costcos says expressly that the ideal for 20 x 30 is 3000 x 4500 to 150dpi. UGG, it is hard.

They want probably just to balance their bandwidth to download a little and stop people from sending large files. You get perfectly acceptable prints by not upscaling and not something special and just their transmit an export to sRGB jpeg of your file. My instructions were more for eking out the last bit of quality (subjective). Impression of sharpness really makes a very visible difference as does using the good printing profile. In my opinion a bit upscaling and then impression of sharpness seems better than the impression of sharpness to the size of the native image, but I think that opinions may differ on this. The profile is very important in my opinion, because without it prints Costco going darker and more hip upward in the shadows you see on your screen. If you care about the details of shadow a lot you may prefer a more percussive than sending sRGB contrast shadow will give you. It can make your feeling all too dark however.

  • Sizing of the images of several resolutions to print on a page of a resolution

Maybe it's a basic question of Photoshop that betrays my lack of experience with the digital workspace, but I would like to know how to draw multiple images of different resolutions on a 300 ppi page, intended to be printed.

    I have three images: a 300 ppi, 3 x 4 inches, another is 4 x 5 inch, 900 DPI and a third is 4 x 5 inches, 600 dpi.

I created a single page that is 300 ppi, 8 x 10 inches. My images will be adapted according to the physical size. But when I drop my 600 dpi and ppi 900 images in this page, they explode at twice and three times the space, spoiling my efforts to put them. Similarly, if I cut the ppi on images greater than 300 DPI, they explode as well.

The only possible option I think that might work is automatic Resample/bicubic. But wouldn't that reduce the quality of the image?

    Thank you!

An image file is a single file, no matter how many layers and images and sizes of pictures in there is that a single resolution than one resolution that all layers and images have the same resolution, the current resolution set in the document or the file setting.

You can process the image file and save the files that have different resolution and different image of an open image size.  You would set something like that using the Image Processor Pro Script Photoshop plug-in that is available free on the Web.

A printed page can have multiple images of different sizes to this topic but all images on the page have the same pixel resolution. They're just a different number of pixels. Larger images are more pixels then small images on the page.

It's easy to make a layout.  Do your layout and size of your images for your page layout.

    Photo Collage Toolkit

Scripts for Photoshop is powerful and I think that this package demonstrates this a video showing a collage of 5 model PSD image fills with images:

The package includes four simple rules to follow to make Photo Collage Template PSD files so they will be compatible with my Photoshop scripts.

    1. Models of photo collage for the desired print size - width and height of the size and DPI print resolution.
    2. Photo collage templates must have a background layer in Photoshop. The content of this layer can be anything.
    3. Photo collage templates must have alpha channels named "Picture 1", "Picture 2"... "Picture n".
    4. Photo collage templates layers above the background layers must provide transparent areas to reveal the images which will be placed below them.

There are fifteen scripts in this package, they provide the following functions:

    1. HelpPhotoCollageToolkit.jsx - online help
    2. TestCollageTemplate.jsx - used to test a model of Collage of Photo while you're doing it with Photoshop.
    3. CollageTemplateBuilder.jsx - can build models that are compatible with this toolkit scripts.
    4. LayerToAlphaChan.jsx - used to convert a stack of the Prototype Image layers in a document template.
    5. InteractivePopulateCollage.jsx - used to fill interactively model Any Photo Collage. Offers more user control insert images and text.
    6. ReplaceCollageImage.jsx - allows to replace an object layer dynamic image collage populated with another image resized and positioned correctly.
    7. ChangeTextSize.jsx - this script can be used to change the size of text Image stamps when the size used by the filling did not work well.
    8. PopulateCollageTemplate.jsx - used to fill a Photo Collage template and leave the populated copy automatically opened in Photoshop.
    9. BatchOneImageCollage.jsx - used for the models automatically batch fill Collage that have only a single image inserted. The Collage or picture may be stamped with the text.
    10. BatchMultiImageCollage.jsx - used to model automatically batch fill any Photo Collage with images in an image source folder. Easier to use than the interactive script. Recorded collages can be twisted.
    11. PasteImageRoll.jsx - paste Images into a document to print on roll paper.
    12. BatchPicturePackage.jsx - used to model automatically batch fill any Photo Collage with an image in the image source folder.  Rotation of images for a better fit.
    13. BatchPicturePackageNoRotate.jsx - used to model automatically batch fill any Photo Collage with an image in the image source folder.
    14. PopulatePicturePackage.jsx - used to fill a Photo Collage fill with the same single image model and leave the populated copy automatically opened in Photoshop.
    15. PCTpreferences.jsx - edit this file to customize Collage fill preset scripts and add your own layer styles.

  • Question about printing and resolution

    Hello

I have a trial version of PE13 tries and tries to reconcile with printing and resolution.

I also read this informative tutorial here:

How Image resolution affects printing - Photoshop tutorial

This is the image I want to print:

    PhotoshopQ.jpg

In the above tutorial, the author states that when printing, resolution 300 is the best and not the 79.3 px/inch I. When I change this 79.3 to 300, the image of Marilyn becomes tiny, so my question is how can I have a picture that would fit perfectly on photo paper A4 with a white 1 "border around itself (which means that the size of the image would be 8" x 6 ") while maintaining a 300 resolution?

I go about it the right way, am I not?

    Thank you very much.

    Steve

While the recommended resolution to see images from a short distance is 300 dpi, the normal resolution for screens, which was 72 PPI doe not exceed 90 ppi, except for the new screens hidpi. Which explains the "extended" effect that you see when you look at the 100% view (an impression pixel corresponds to a pixel on the screen). The print size will be what you chose: 6 * 9 inches.

  • Resolution 350 PPI printing?

    Hello

One of the main teachers in my institution had made a statement which today is the standard for a print resolution is 350 Pixels per inch and not 300 PPI, which is now an old standard.

I tried to look for more online resources for it and couldn't. As far as I know, it has been and remains 300 PPI.

I also know that when you open a new document in Photoshop (file-> new) using one of the predefined print settings you get 300 DPI by default.

My question: does anyone know about a new standard for print in addition to 300 PPI resolution? Choose a different print resolution?

    Thank you!

    PPI.png

We must prevent the Orange apples here. The argument of type number 300 not refer to inkjet printers, it refers to the offset printing. For ink jet, the optimal ppi will be different for different printers. I have often heard the number 360 mentioned with Epson.

Your colleague's good and bad. For the most part poorly. A particularly high quality print job, to a 175 LPI screen, would require a file 350 ppi to stick on the 2:1 ratio. But this isn't an 'ideal' report - this is just the point where a further increase in resolution will not improve the result, not even theoretically. It is the absolute maximum of useful.

Actually, you can go down to a ratio of 1.5: 1 lossless Visual significant detail and quality. It is the frequency of the line that sets the level of detail. But there is a slight possibility that you might be able to distinguish individual pixels.

Overall, not complicate it more than necessary. Tell your students to 300 and be done with it. This number is as good as any other, and there is certainly no 'new normal' 350. Not yet at least (that will come probably).

  • Cannot print, cannot open a session and not to receive emails from your

I started the impossibility to print anything. Firefox says that it cannot find my printer (I paraphase). When I try to find the settings to check, I can't find them. The options that others have listed to solve these things are options that I can't find.

So then I tried to log on th the Firefox site but cannot, as I don't remember my password. Press the lost password option, key to my email address, it is said by e-mail has been sent. Received nothing while the other emails arrive in my Inbox. Check spam, trash and so on, but still no email to reset my password.

Wait an hour and then left through the same process. Still not received any e-mail after checking the trash and spam and Inbox. Do not have a separate folder for Firefox or Mozilla.

Had to create a second account to be able to post this message. I don't know where to turn or what to do next. Does anyone have an idea of what is going on please?

  • Sharp MX-2614n - 10,11 drivers - cannot print

We recently bought a new Sharp printer in our office - MX-2614N. Unfortunately, I was unable to find the drivers on the Sharp site. Unlike the old model MX-2600N, which prints without fault, I am unable to do this print even printer with a standard postscript driver.

My Mac with 10.11 can see th printer on network morning and it asks to download drivers or offers standard drivers. Unfortunately no luck.

Recently, I discovered a package on some unofficial site with 10,11 drivers hidden in MX - C26.pkg, which adds dozens of printer in library/printers/PPDs/happy/Resources you want SHARP MX - 2614N.PPD.gz, dated 11.9.2014, but the printer cannot print even with this printer driver. I contacted the local representative of STRONG, but not luck.

Does anyone have a solution for this printer - how to print even in a default configuration without any particular add ons (like duplexer, paper extra. storage etc..)?

    I tried one of these:

    -version 1.6.0.6 to 10.11 26.1.15 - no luck

    -version 1501b 27.1.2015 - no luck

The new machine has a PostScript printing package? For many brands of printers Postscript kit is often an option and without the SDK installed, you will not be able to print using Sharp or generic Postscript PPD MX-2614 - driver who stands for Postscript Printer Description.

Note that some devices support PCL as standard. There is a generic PCL driver included with OS X. This driver does not print in black and white and has a default value of print resolution of 300 dpi. But at least it will let you print.

You can also find that the Sharp supports AirPrint. If you can then you will be able to use the AirPrint driver in OS X, which will let you print in color and print on both sides and even staple (if it has a base unit).

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600: Thin vertical lines when printing photos

The printer referenced did a fabulous job to print photographs.  In this case, the printer is fairly recent and has recently recently consumed the original cartridges when it was decided to try to use it for photo printing.  Therefore, the fabulous results were extracted relatively new cartridges and consisted of at least a dozen photo printing in various sizes.  Then all of a sudden these thin vertical straight lines began to appear in print.  They are equidistant on the full image.  That they appear in the printed image.  When using paper letter (8.5 x 11) to print an image cropped at 8 x 10 with landscape orientation spacing is about 1 1/8 (one and one-eighth) inches or 8 evenly spaced vertical lines.  Somewhat like the photo was divided into 8 columns.

According to the printer built in ink gauge, that the cartridges are now just a little more than half full.

These lines are narrow enough so that they are not very visible when printing on normal paper (copy).  They would probably be imperceptible on many kinds of printed documents.  However, they become quite noticeable and reprehensible when using good quality (in this case HP) photo paper to print photos.

Absence of a printer resolution is not good for photo printing.

In addition to the troubleshooting suggests that the problem is not due to the printer, but rather to the software used to perform the printing. It was not immediately obvious that I printed only photos using Picasa and it worked fine and then all of a sudden the problem developed. However, I have now tried to print the same photos with other software and there is no problem for the steps.

The Picasa forum also has many messages wanting to be the same or a similar problem to what I have experienced. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be an explanation for a repeatable cause, nor a specific solution. Some hacking autour with the settings and options seems to be in order. If it does not then print with other software may be necessary.

  • Random gibberish printing - 1 PC several printers

A few months ago, I had a problem where my printer would print random gibberish.  Usually, if I just took the same document everything would be ok.  I thought that the problem was probably the printer so I replaced it with a new HP 6100 about 2 weeks ago.  Everything seemed fine, but then today I had the same problem back.  The printed gibberish.  The format of the print had the correct air it's just that the letters are gibberish.  It almost seems as if the mapping of characters has changed.  For example it could replace all A with J and all B with Q etc...

As happens now with two different printers, I think that it must be something on the PC and not specific to the printer.  I'm so stuck because I really don't know what to try to do.  Someone at - it pointers to things I could try that might fix this problem?

  • Reinstall Windows XP - HP printer print sometimes gibberish

I had to reinstall windows XP sp3 caused by a virus.  I have formatted and reinstalled windows disk.  I installed the drivers required from Dell (Dimension 4700).  Everything seemed to work correctly after the installation of windows all updates.  I then installed the HP Officejet Pro L7650 AIO software.  Now sometimes when I print, I get gibberish.  I can usually get it works by re-printing of the document.  Files PDF and excel spreadsheet appears to print correctly.  (Fax cover page) Word documents and web pages seem to have a problem.  The document will be printed with all formatting intact, but the words will be gibberish.  I don't think it's a problem of HP, but think I might be missing a step after the re-installation.   Any ideas?
