  I tried to find a solution for the error 19 on my Sony Vaio computer for ages! Said that the driver does not work correctly and to update the driver. No updates found. No drivers on the Sony Web site. Drivers on other sites for a price. Tried to uninstall and reboot but no luck.

  I have a brand new Acer Aspire 571 Windows V3 8 & the first time I tried to use the DVD player, to rip a CD, nothing happens. I checked the devices & printers in the control panel and the device 'Aspire' shows a yellow triangular exclamation point (need to troubleshooting and status driver error).   To remove Pfc input double click LowerFilters and under value data, remove Pfc > OK

  I've had my A210-12U for about five months now, and recently for the past few months I had some problems with the dvd player.

  The thing is that the player will not play all discs, the drive will detect that a disc has been inserted, but it will not read. It happened for about a month but its only recently I really know whats been wrong with it.

  I scanned the disk for problems with the support toshiba but utility that came with something so I decided to check the drivers.

  Windows Vista gave this Message: Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

  I uninstalled the drivers and drivers on there and installed new ones that I downloaded here on the toshiba site.

  What I really want to know is: is this a problem with the drivers? is it a case that the operating system does not detect the hardware? or is this a situation where I should have the disk fixed on its guarantee?

  Completely remove the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters from the following registry key values:

  and restart the laptop
