  Try following the steps below and check if it can solve the problem:

  1. If you have McAfee installed on your PC, open Mcafee software.

  in the Virus and Spyware Protection section, click Schedule and run scans. Click real time analysis , then

  Click stop. Never select and confirm by clicking the off button.
  2. open the dialog box run by clicking on the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type %windir%, and then click OK.
  3. type hpoins*.dat in the search bar at top, if there is that no result rename the extention in old instead of dat. (e.g. hpoins1.old)
  4. type hpwins*.dat in the search bar at top, if there is that no result rename the extention in old instead of dat. (e.g. hpwins1.old)
  5. start the Run dialog box by clicking the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type MSIEXEC /Unregister. in the Run dialog box and click OK.
  6. launch the Run dialog box by clicking the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type MSIEXEC/REGSERVER in the Run dialog box and click OK.

  7 restart your PC.
  8 run the last Installer below and check for the difference:

  I can't get my MFP HP LaserJet M1319f all-in-One (Nr - CB536A) to install correctly.  I just bought a new laptop with Windows 7 and the printer says that it is not compatible.  Whenever I put the disc in, and then click intall a message comes up saying "the installation software is not supported on this OS, or the system does not satisfy the minimum requirements for installing this software.  Please see the specifications of the product. "I tried to download drivers but it did not help, maybe I just didn't make the right one.  In any case, I could really use some help.

  My OS is Windows 7 64 bit.

  The installation disk supplied with the printer is not compatible with Windows 7, as the device was manufactured prior to release of Windows 7.
  No matter which compatible OS are registered on the CD...

  A newer version of the software for Windows 7 can be downloaded from the HP site.

  Before installing the software, be sure to follow the steps below:

  1. Enter the control panel > devices and printers.
  2. Right-click on the icon Photosmart 2610 and lick to withdraw an instrument.
  3. Disconnect the USB cable between the printer and restart your PC.
  4. Follow the below installation, do not connect USB until prompted to do so during the installation of the software:

  Windows XP Pro x 86 (32-bit) service pack 3

  Software installs fine until he asking for the type of connection. The computer does not have wireless so I select USB connection and it fails every time.   Finally solved the problem. Had an old Pentium 3 machine around the pose and decided to try to change the disk hard on and see if I could install the printer with a different material.

  It turns out that the mup.sys file, which has something to do with PnP devices, has been damaged and Windows wouldn't start in the other Tower. Then, I took out the HARD drive and put it back in the Dell can reformat Windows XP and guess what, printer installed without a hitch the first time I tried! Now I have to reinstall everything on the computer * sigh *.
