Problem installing windows 7. It will not go beyond the Welcome screen.

Hello people,

Good so I recently bought an SDS and trying to do a clean install of windows 7 but it doesn't let me get past the Welcome screen. Before even the colored balls appear and it just hangs there. I am really frustrated and tried a few things but nothing I try seems to work.

Any help would be so appreciated!

Hello a tad noob.

It shows the SSD at all? I would check to see that it is indeed to be picked up by the BIOS, and if not, check the cables.
Sometimes, the Windows installation can chuck a fit when it detects a disk with a sector of boot/MBR not valid and won't install it. To resolve this problem, you can try the following
1. start Windows 7 disc.
2. when the Welcome screen is displayed on the Windows installation, press SHIFT + F10, which will display a command prompt.
3 type 'diskpart' (without the quotes) and press ENTER.
4 Type "list disk" and press ENTER.
5. If all goes well, you can see your SSD in the list. You should see a number identifier. Now type "select disk X" (where X is the number of your SSD) and press ENTER.
6. type 'clean' and press ENTER. He will write an empty MBR, YOU WILL LOSE ANY DATA ON THE SSD if you had anything on it.
I hope that one of these tips helps you:

I'm confused, because I have never had any problems to enter my own address, nor usually have problems try to give my money to people. I'll have to waste time on this is pretty insulting. Hi guys

I think I'll have problems connecting. After age, I finally downloaded a profile picture (which is different to my avatar forums), I thought should appear on the home pages of all my CC2015 programs as well. After you upload a photo and get approval from the moderator, I opened a couple of my programs, but by default, empty picture placeholder has not updated and my image does not appear, for example in the Pr or Ps CC2015. Yet when I click on the support of the image that need me on my Adobe account page, so it is connected.

I tried syncing Pr, but kept getting this error message:

So I wonder if someone could tell if there are a few settings I have no right or configuration needs. Not a large number, only one of these irritations which grids that I wonder where is the problem...

  • E260 will not go past the opening screen

I got my 260 E for about a year and later that yesterday I went to turn it on, but it remains on the logon screen. Enter mode 'sleep', but I can't listen to music or find out anything because it will not go beyond the opening screen. The second of 10-15 soft reset I tried a hundred times, but it does not work.

If remove/insert the battery did not work, the next step would be to format the drive.  You can also try to update the firmware.  I hope that you have a model v1.  What does say on the back of the drive?  Do you see a blue Sansa logo on the splash screen?  If so, you have a model v2 with no recovery mode.

Assuming you have a v1 with the recovery mode:

    1. Turn off the player.
    2. Slide the key lock (to headphone jack).
    3. Press and hold the RECORD when connecting to the PC.
    4. Output RECORD when the "Welcome to recovery mode" message on the LCD s drive.
    5. Open my computer/Windows explore and see if you can find a new "16 MB - FORMAT" labeled removable flash drive
    6. Right-click on 16 MB-FORMAT and select new folder.
    7. Name the new folder "sansa.fmt" (without the quotes).
    8. Use the remove safely icon in the system tray.
    9. HOLD reset in the unlocked position.
    10. Disconnect the player from the PC.

The player must, by seeing the folder sansa.fmt in the root directory of the drive, proceed to format itself.  Pay attention to any error/success message see you.  If all goes well, it will tell the full format and then to restart.

DO NOT TRY TO FORMAT THE VOLUME 16 MB-FORMAT!

If the format does not work, the next step is to try to update the firmware.  Go to the correct sticky message and download the firmware for your region .24A (assuming that he is a player of v1).  Drag and drop the embedded .mi4 and ROM files of archive of the firmware in the root directory of the 16 MB-FORMAT drive.  Make sure that the files end up in the root directory and not in a subdirectory.  Unplug and restart the player as before.

PC is a Dell Vostro 1510, it is only a couple of years.

    Can someone please?

The initial problem was that the PC did not go beyond the page of Windows to start upward. So I had to do an installation of the Dell windows XP disk repair. But I couldn't boot from the CD, (even after changing in the system BIOS boot order) to work around this problem, so I had to disable the boot on the other upward options being - HDD, USB etc. so only if it start from the disc.

After completing the first part of the repair facility, the PC restarted to complete the second part of the installation, however I got an error message "the Kernel32.dll file is possibly corrupt. The header checksum does not match the checksum calculated.

After some research, I solved this problem by using the windows recovery console to extract a new copy of the kernel32.dll from the windows XP disc. It seemed to work. The second part of the window repair facility restarted successfully, but now the problem is it will not complete installation, it gets stuck/not will not go beyond the 26 minute mark during the phase of "complete installation."

It has been full of hiccups. I'm not a person of computer tech at all, but have managed to get so far at this stage.  Can someone please please help, very much appreciated.
    Thanks :)

  • Can't reinstall Vista. Because Vista will not get to the Setup screen.

Hi people. Got a prob a little. Vista stopped booting the other night. So, I tried safe mode, and it hung on crcdisk.sys. So, I decided to get in shape. Problem is, it will boot from the DVD, but will not load / access the Setup screen (I waited for 7-8 minutes and nothing's happened, shows just the thing with the green bar).

Not too sure if it's because the hard drive is 1 TB (but Vista was on the same front hdd with Windows 7). I tried to remove the 2 GB of ram (I use 4). No go. Tried another DVD rom, not go. Removed USB devices that have been connected. No go. I know that the DVD itself is fine. I tried on the other PC here, the installation screen came within 2-3 minutes. But his is not a 1 to (its 250 GB) the only DVD that will work / I install is the Windows 7 DVD.  So, how can I reinstall Vista?

I deleted all partitions / recreated with the Win7 installation as well. Still couldn't get Vista to get to the Setup screen

    Any info appreciated

    Thank you

Finally fixed it. I read that USB legacy can also cause this. So, I disabled it. Everything is good. Managed to get to the Setup screen, then reinstall Vista

Last night, he went into a temporary profile and he got a message saying "another profile cannot load at this time please try again later".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you
    Kara

The error message is not known to me and also looking in google didn t get advice.
Maybe your Windows operating system is confusing upward.

Have you tried to boot Win 7 in safe mode?
Try this. Restart your laptop, press the F8 key.
In advanced startup options, select the option called Mode without failure.

If the laptop does not start Safe Mode, try the last good known Configuration option.

If this n t help, try to fix my computer. Here, you can choose between different settings.
Who could solve that problem is HARD drive recovery that helps you define the notebook to factory settings. But it also means that your disk should be formatted!

    So be aware of this!

  • Does not load before the Welcome screen

I get to the sign in screen on vista and I put my password and sign in however it will not load past the loading screen.

    Hello

What would you say if try you it in safe mode? It will allow you to open a session?

To access safe mode, press F8 just after the screen logo POST or original system manufacturer and before Windows starts to load. This should give you a boot menu where you can select.

If you are able to log on successfully in safe mode, you can start the troubleshooting steps described here:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

If you are not able to connect to any account in safe mode, including the default administrator, please post back with some information about how and when this problem started.

  • Windows 7 does not start after the Welcome screen after password

I've been running Windows 7 for the last 10 months with no problems until a few days ago. The PC starts fine, goes to the password screen, accept the password and then adheres to the Welcome screen.  The PC is not frozen, the cursor moves and the circle just keeps running load.  It starts perfectly in safe mode and safe mode with network.  This problem started to occur intermittently, but tonight, it took 4 re - begins to initialize.

Would be grateful for any ideas.

    Hello

    a. did you software/hardware changes to your computer before this problem?

Step 1: Try to perform the clean boot in safe mode and check. This is perhaps due to some third party software installed on your computer.
    Reference: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Step 2: Also, look for error messages in the event viewer. If you find error messages after return the exact error message so that we can help you better.
Measures to check the application event log:
    a. Click Start.
    (b) in the search box type eventvwr.msc , and then on enter.
    c. now, click Application in the event viewer (local).
    d. now, looking for event log on the right side of the event viewer window.

  • New HP Pavilion will not go beyond the screen with the "HP" Logo and the "circle of points."

I recently bought a computer HP Pavilion (HP Pavilion 10:10 - e010nr). It was my first experience with Windows 9.1, but everything seemed to go OK. Then, yesterday when I had to retype my password, the computer began to run very slowly and then seemed to lock-up; It would not do anthing. I held onto the "button until the computer turns off and then restarted. When it restarted, it didn't go beyond the initial screen that shows "HP" in a blue circle and the small circle of the small white watch points there work but nothing ever happens. (I tried this many times, but the same thing happens. If anyone can help me to go beyond this opening "HP" screen, I would really appreciate it.

Hi Referee06. I understand that your computer does not load past the HP logo at startup. To resolve this problem, proceed to the section "the computer crashes to the screen of the HP or Compaq logo or the Windows loading screen" in this document: computer does not (Windows 8)

Let me know how it turns out.

  • My hp will not go past the blue screen

I tried everything I can think of.

    Safe mode

    Restore and system recovery

    Cleaning system

nothing will make me past the blue screen

    Model number G62-244

    Please help me!

    Hello cannary77:

Sorry your computer broke down. Thanks to updates from Microsoft. Well I see you tried safe mode and couldn't open. I hope you have your recovery disk. It's the time to use them. Just insert the disk and turn on coomputer. If your memory or your hard drive was not damaged it must start the process of full recovery. Follow on screen commands. If you do not have your recovery disk, then you can order them through section of HP computer parts. I hope that this step is all you need. Because if this last resort fails then your computer should be taken for repairs. Maybe just replacing memory chips or the hard drive maybe both.

Once you fall upwards and re-run. Modify the updater settings to automatically update, but let me pick witch to install. Now manually check you for updater and see if the updates are downloaded. Check only one couple at a time. For some reason when a buch of them settle in once, what is happening. I got lucky when it happpened to me. I could get my computer in safe mode and do a restore from the back. Since I changed my settings it didn't happen.

Oh if you need send repairs request an estimate may be cheeper to buy new, then tries to fix it. Also check your warranty may still be covered. All HP computers come with one year warranty. Good luck

  • My desktop with W7 home premium HP computer does not start beyond the initial screen of HP.

I had been doing "Master Boot Record error press any key."  for the latest two boots.  Press any key boot the computer and initialized in W7.  But, when I tried to start the computer again, he did not get beyond the initial HP screen with choice... F10, esc, F11, F12, and F9.  By pressing the keys are not going anywhere.  When I pressed ESC, I got "Loading Boot Menu... ', , but does not load the start menu. I tried to boot from a DVD, but the DVD/burner burner did not run.

When the computer is turned on, the fire HD came a few seconds... .but then nothing.

    Solution?

    Thanks again, Hanspuppa.

I found the problem.  I removed the CMOS battery and reinstalled.  It seems to work OK now.

  • Problem installing Windows Security Update. Not installing - KB2467175

I have a problem when you install the update of security for Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package (KB2467175). Everybody out there to provide a solution for this? Am pretty tired after trying all possible solutions, I can and in vain. Problem is that this particular update is not proceed with the installation even after you try to install it manually also. Impossible to solve this problem. Ask for help from you people.

Please note: Tested on a PC running Windows Vista 64-bit Version.

I found a solution for this problem and fixed it. I don't know how it would work for others. May give it a try because it will not harm you in any way.

I tried to make all possible suggestions found on the net, but none has proved that my way then went on my own way.

First of al the update of security for Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package comes with updates of Windows 5.6 MB file size which means (to my knowledge) to install two Versions of this update of 32 and 64-bit Versions on 64-bit PC running. This particular update the Versions of it needs to be installed and not a particular Version of the update. The size of the file for 32-bit would be 2.6 MB and 64-bit is 3.0 MB, once the combination comes only 5.6 MB. You can find the download on the link below and download Versions. You have 64-bit the second and 32 bits as the 3rd on the download page. I first installed the update then with the 32-bit and the 64-bit Version and finally managed. Please find the link to download the update manually from Microsoft site
