  Hello community!

  Hoping someone may be able to help with this urgent problem. All of a sudden, my.cpd project file has been corrupted and cannot be opened. Nothing out of the ordinary happened from one day to the next day to cause this error in the morning. Other project files open fine, but I work always in the main project has become corrupted and RoboHelp 2015 says that it cannot be opened.

  Has anyone ever experienced this before? Stuff to browse before you contact Adobe directly would be much appreciated.

  I have backups of the .cpd that I could load. In order to draw in the most up-to-date in HTML format, however, is there a quick way to do this in addition to drag / drop each page of each topic in the old version of the .cpd?

• RoboHelp 2015: Problem conversion of numbered paragraphs

  Dear readers,

  For a project I need Robohelp 2015 to convert a text Word 2010 numbered section headers (1. Title 1, 1.1. Title2, etc.). I would like to as Robohelp to generate topics separated for each of these headers. Not numbered headers (default value of Word) it works very well, for numbered headings I get a single subject with headers converted to Favorites. Anyone knows how to generate topics separated for each heading numbered by Robohelp?

  Thanks a lot for your answer. You're right, I had checked Pagination, I forgot to mention that in my original post.

  Numbered headers are required for the project, unfortunately. After many tests I found what caused the document do not split into several pages on the numbered headers. In the Conversion Settings window, other parameters section, I had 'List Convert Word' also checked. This causes the headers interpreted as list items and not as headers, where they were not converted into several pages. Once I unchecked, everything worked fine. Currently I do not see why they have been converted to Favorites, but at least my problem seems to be resolved.

• RoboHelp 2015 permitted changes on a checked out file

  RoboHelp 2015 with (to me) Visual Studio Source control (TFS) 2010 and (for other engravers) Source control integrated 2013.

  I edited the subject one yesterday and it archived. This morning, my colleague told that she had recovered at the same time and did not know how I managed to change it. Control of source to detect the conflict and she checked in its version and then do my changes.

  I don't see any way to toggle multiple extractions in HR 2015 Source code control settings, and I do not see what is happening in TFS 2010 or 2013 because I'm not an admin (I asked help from the TFS administrator).

  • Do we need to disable multiple checkouts somewhere in 2015 from RoboHelp? If Yes, where?
  • Are there any departure several issues known when opening projects from Source Control RH2015 2010 or 2013?

  You control get in TFS. Ask your TFS administrator to disable multi available on the server. (It is enabled by default).

• RoboHelp 2015 WebHelp output - does not display the previous content after HR 2015 update

  I have a client who created their WebHelp with the original version of HR 2015. The project file has been updated by someone who had already updated their HR 2015... not sure that this day they used. Updated 2 or 3 because it is a recent event. The result was that only new images have been published. Images of previous content - created before the update of HR 2015, no longer displayed images. At the time where the customer still has a computer with the original version of HR 2015 on this it's help. However, we do our best to solve this problem. They would like all their HR 2015 was updated to the latest version.

  Customer has also tried to generate a Word from the HR file document, however, new content has been included and the images of the old content includes incoherently. When the same file is opened in RoboHelp, you can see all the images in the content of the old and the new.

  Someone attempted to open the project file in a later version of HR and the files seem to be corrupted. This is all the information I have at the moment. I hope you all have a few ideas so that when I meet with them tomorrow I'll be able to look for problems that may arise.

  Once I got the actual files of the client, I was able to solve the problem by importing the old files to extract pod.

  Here are the steps I gave the client after you have imported the Snippet pod files successfully:

  1. Go to the nacelle of the code snippet and click Import.
  2. You can select the hts files that are missing from the files in your project.

• RoboHelp 2015 multiple authors can not access to each of the other changes

  As one of our authors RHelp update an existing topic - cash, change then check-in and all is good, because these changes are visible from the Explorer RoboSource customer as well as the history and other users/authors can see the changes made by no other author via RH2015.

  However, when author X creates a new topic and check it into Version control, there are no errors on the checkin, BUT author there can see the original newly page created and not all changes that no other author has created. Author can make their own changes, but only the person doing the updates can see their updates and no changes made by someone else. When you view the DB/project of the Explorer RoboSource Control 3.1 Client connected to the actual machine where RoboSource Control Server is installed, only the original copy of the new topic/Page is visible without antecedent change made by an author.

  • The subjects/page works as expected. (checkout, mark edits, consignment) all the updates and history are also expected and visible by all authors through RH2015. AND through RSC customer 3.1 Explorer on the RSC server machine.
  • New topic/page created - for which there are changes only the person who has checked these changes may see these changes through RH2015 and not archived by other changes. More by using their local copy of the RSC customer Explorer him only see the current and history for their own evolution.  However, if you use RSC 3.1 customer Explorer of the real source server computer control there is no history of visible changes and shows only the initial report charge/checked in the new page.

• Why the subjects in my project RoboHelp disappear after update to RoboHelp 2015?

  After the upgrade to a RoboHelp 10 to RoboHelp 2015 project, all the themes of the project are deleted when the subjects are then updated. The project is a document linked FrameMaker - updates as planned, but when I update the headings, one of two things occurs:

  1. Links are broken and all the topics appear in the 'Broken links' folder, or
  2. All subjects simply disappear.

  (Running Adobe Tech Comm Suite 2015 on Windows 7, 64-bit; RoboHelp being updated to v12.0.2.384; FrameMaker, set updated to v 13.0.2.433.)

  I had a few successful update of the subjects if I update separately each 'chapter' in the book, but if I use the option "update all the ', the results are as shown above. And, as you can see, the results are not compatible. This happened with two projects that I have converted in 2015 of RoboHelp.

  I find no information about it in the forums. Screenshot below is included to show the effect of ' update all ' in a project.

  I tried your steps exactly but it works very well at my end.

  Try this: in the project folder there is a file named .cpd, delete this file and re - open the project in RoboHelp and then update the book connected to FM.

  Try it and tell me if it solves this problem.

• RoboHelp 2015 excludes all conditionalized content when generating CHM with RHCL

  I have a problem with the generation CHM via the command prompt. As the title of the topic, when I generate a CHM with RHCL.exe, all the subjects/text that have conditional tags applied do not appear in the output. The problem only occurs with the command-line RoboHelp and generation of CHM by GUI works fine. I also tried to do the same thing with an example project and the problem has persisted. So it seems that RHCL removes everything simply everything conditionalized, independently of the set of conditional compilation expressions.

  I use Windows 8.1 and Robohelp 2015. Before, I had 10 Robohelp and never had such a problem with it.

  I currently have, as a workaround solution generate CHM files manually, which is very annoying, because the generation of CHM is only a small part of our automated doc publication process.

  For me, it looks like an obvious bug. Anyone else faced this problem?

• RoboHelp 2015 - batch generate with conditional compilation tags broken?

  Hello everyone.

  My company has recently upgraded to Technical Communication Suite 2015 and today we try to generate online help for the first time with RoboHelp 2015. We have been batch generating (rhcl.exe) for about a year with no problems... and today I have problems in conditional tag of major works. I'll try to be as detailed as possible, in the hope that the community can tell me if I'm doing something wrong.

  System: RoboHelp 2015 on Windows 7 64 bit. WebHelp layout. Upgraded project of HR 11 a week ago.

  
  

  Setting up a project

  In most of the topics, we have a 'See also' section at the end, with a few links. This section is tagged with the 'Online' CBT (so that we can exclude the PDF output).

  There are 4-5 CBT by module.

  My conditional compilation expression is: NOT print AND NO risk AND NO WIP. The expression is named Test. This conditional compilation expression is stored in a WebHelp SSL called VALUE. The 'Online' tag appears correctly under tags available and it is certainly not excluded.

  The problem

  I use the following command;

  "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 2015\RoboHTML\rhcl.exe ' 'D:\technical_documentation\my_project\my_project.xpj'-l 'Test' o 'D:\help_builds\my_master\mergedProjects\my_project '.

  In the output, all the content that is tagged with Online is not visible, even if the tag was not excluded!

  I tried a few other scenarios and the results are even more confusing to me. I scored some random text with some other tags ('link', 'afds' and 'value') - labeled content 'link' and 'afds' is not visible, but the content labeled 'Value' is... Although none of these tags have been excluded!

  If I generate RoboHelp, not with the lot, everything works fine, without changes in the SSL settings.

  Am I right in thinking this is a new bug? Perhaps rhcl.exe support incorrectly the improvements in tag conditional compilation in HR 2015? I will record a bug if this is the case, but I would like some opinions firstly thank you!

• RoboHelp 2015: Several output types that are not available when you open the project created with RH9

  I recently upgraded from RoboHelp 9 in RoboHelp 2015, and I have installed all updates. I use WebHelp output for most of my projects. I would like to use the new features of HR 2015, specifically the release of HTML5 sensitive; However, when I open a project created with RH9, this type of output is not available. I tried to create a new project with HR 2015, and import my RH9 project files, but the sensitive HTML5 output and others remained unavailable.   Right click on the pod output and select new.  All options will be listed.

• RoboHelp 2015 responds very slowly

  First of all, I'm sorry if I've got this post in the wrong category, but it seems that the General category of RoboHelp has been removed.

  I recently upgraded from RoboHelp 11 to RoboHelp 2015 on my Windows 2008 computer. I installed the available updates, patch 2 I believe, so there is no update that I'm currently missing.

  I converted my project, but when I started to work in RoboHelp I noticed he responds very slowly. I'm really just trying to add new topics and edit existing; I have not tried to create any output (normally, I would use Microsoft HTML Help and WebHelp options). I didn't have problems with my projects before the upgrade. It is the same size and recorded in the same place as before.

  If so, close the project, move it to your local drive. (Preferably in a folder for example, C:\Projects\YourProjectNameHere)

• RoboHelp 2015 won't let me import a Word document

  People,

  I just install Robohelp 2015 (version 12.0.0.306).

  When I try to import a Word file to create a new project, it fails, and I see the message:

  "The import Word Document Wizard cannot locate a supported Microsoft Word version. Please install Microsoft Word 2000 or newer. »

  But I use Word 2016.

  What is a known compatibility issue?

  Hi all

  I have a user guide for an application that my business grows. The guide is created with RoboHelp 2015 with the latest updates (12.0.2.384)

  The user guide is generally viewed online via web browser, and I export it as "Sensitive HTML" for this purpose.

  Recently, the requirement seemed to have aid available as an application on a mobile device running the effective application of the aid is for. (currently no need context-sensitive help, etc. - it's just a user guide available on the device of the user).

  I'm the type of output "Mobile App" work after a little reading, and I can now build a nice version of the Android app of my user guide.

  Everything seems to work very well, and is visible as well on phones, tablets, etc.

  The only fly in my soup, but all external links to Web sites that appear in my user's guide do not work.
