  This error message is a bit misleading. What happened is that CS5 that was issued before the "custodian" is not "signed" and installation is blocked because it is considered to be "unreliable".

  Solution: Temporarily set to "Everywhere" and then open the dmg file.

  I want to sell my copy of Mac Adobe Creative Suite CS5 Master Collection.

  Will I have a problem because it has been updated for CS3? (I still have the copy of the said box too).

  I've read about the thing of transfer of license:

  -is this possible if I sell on ebay? The buyer will have to fill in too? It sounds like a convoluted process...

  Each license transfer requires to go through the procedures. There are no shortcuts. Sale of upgrade versions requires to include all previous qualifying products.

  I just buy a new iMac OSX 10.9.2 running. However, after reloading my Creative Suite CS5, then atenpting to install updates, I get errors such as these below:

  This happens for all my Creataive Suite CS5 programs.

  Does anyone know if there is a problem of compatibility with the Mavericks and CS5? Is there a solution for this?

  I know it's late, but I just encountered this problem even after you have reinstalled cs5 on OS X 10.11

  Manual updates did not work, but I found this link to update the update manager that solved the problem:

I have read several forums and still do not have an effective solution. I tired: install Java 2015-001, uninstalled, and reinstalled the Creative Suite, renamed the file manager services with '.bak' and nothing works.   If El Capitan Mac (or the new operating system of Sierra) read below

  CS6 and previous programs have not been tested and will not be updated to run on Mac El Capitan

  -which means you are trying to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems

  -You can get CS6 and previous programs to install and run, or you can not (some do, some don't)

  You will need the serial number that you have when you bought it to activate the software.

  You can install and activate the perpetual software (purchased) two computers of the same type (mac or pc), as long as you use it on one at a time. (product of lightroom multi platform is the exception because it can be installed on the pc and mac platforms)

  It is advisable to disable the software on a computer on which it will be is most used, especially before giving away or selling the computer or reformat the hard disk. Please see this link: How to disable the software.  This frees an activation if you have the option to install the software on another computer at any time.

  I'm having trouble installing the creative suite cs5.5 on my mac. I used the link to the adobe site and download the installer, but when I try to jot pen to actually download the suite it does not. I tried several times and it never works. I had more on my computer before, but my computer crashed and I lost the programs so I'll try to get back them. I have the key to license and all ready but I can't get the installer to open and download the suite.   MoeGhazal I have reviewed your account and it seems that you have upgraded to a volume license CS4 Design Premium for an upgrade of retail Design Premium 5.5.

  I also shows that you have made two purchases of CS5.5 Design Premium, but the second purchase was cancelled.  Make sure that you use the serial number that ends in 7886.

  If you are using the correct serial number, then it is likely, that the installer won't recognize your serial number of volume license CS4 as being valid for upgrade.  If you can contact our support team you can be traversed through an unlocking procedure to allow you to proceed with the installation.  You can contact our team of support directly in Contact with the customer.  You can try to install a web browser, you have not previously used.  It of probably a toolbar or other software applications affect your ability to access the media cat successfully.

  Hi, I have a problem with the installation of my Web Premimum Creative Suite CS5. I have the CD and the code set that I bought a couple of years, even though I have a new macbook pro and unfortunately, it doesn't have a CD player much to my frustration.

  Is it possible to download this version and captures the serial number existing I have, or if it will work if I download CS6 and enter my original serial code?

  If you are still having trouble downloading the installation files and then think to copy the installation files on a USB drive.  You can use another computer that includes an optical drive.
