  You can use what you want, there is no such limitation. However when you go to cloud service based like loading or sync files to your cloud storage, you need an active Internet connection.

  I would buy the current promotion of the cloud creative (for CS client), this way I can have the promotion which is a little less expensive.

  In the past, I buy Adobe CS5 Suite for student, so I enter the serial number of this product to buy creative cloud.

  When I enter this serial number as "my previous product from Adobe", they say that I can't buy Creative Cloud with this promotion.

  But I buy what Adobe product in the past, so I don't understand why I am not considered a customer of Adobe/customer, is it because it was a student product?
