  I had a problem with my laptop. The laptop does not connect to my home network.

  If this is the case try to configure WPA2 or WPA rather than fall to WEP.

  Check all the other related settings as well. knowledge is the router using MAC filtering, are there available IP address so that it can allocate? (some routers are possible to limit the amount of IP address, they can allocate at one time).

  Second, if it does not remove the encryption all and see if it connects then. JUST AS a TEST, do not leave it.

  I have a laptop lenovo z570 to hv with win7... from AFTR, on the desktop, the last icon is selected automatically... even whn, I opened my man or recycled bin that opens the last shortcut... BT when I press any key in keybrd the problem disappears... sometimes moreovr to start the 'starting windows' screen freezes... in the same way whn I press a key to start the windows... I have lots of hv formatted my computer laptop aftr the prob... bios update... BT no result... what to do? pls help.is it any hardware problem or any other thing?

  I have a 22-inch HPL2208w monitor, which seems to play on my new laptop Dell upward. The laptop has only a HDMI port, so I connect the monitor's vga cable to the Dell via an adapter.

  The display shows for a few minutes and requires only the range (I guess resolution) be changed to 1680 x 1650. For some reason I can't change the setting of the laptop to that. When I do not change the resolution (only if the monitor is unique and not dual output) the warning message remains on the screen and the screen is not at its best (wise clarity).

  Series Dell Win 7 64 bit, but the monitor was working on my previous Dell with the same version of Windows (with a VGA connection).

• Problem with my computer laptop vaio sony windows 8

  I am facing a problem when starting my computer sony vaio notebook. My laptop is sony vaio laptop with system of operating Windows preinstalled (unilingual) 8. Unfortunately I stop my laptop while the blue screen displaying 'Preparation to set up windows' and then a blue screen showing "Your Pc needs to be repaired" appears. (I think that the boot partition is damaged at the display of the code as 0x000000)

  Recently I install ubuntu alongside windows 8 so I think it might be the problem.

  The main problem is that I can't open anything, not even command prompt options to rescan advances and rebuild boot partition and I have windows key 8 to reinstall completely since it's preinstallation with it and I have no cd/dvd recovery.

  Please help me I'm stuck.

  When I walk in the first option IE start rescue and recovery the same screen appears with your PC needs to be repaired

  You have to solve this problem with Ubuntu and support from Sony. You are probably
  need to remove Linux and Linux boot loader and restore if Windows startup

• Problems with video streaming (laptop HP with windows 8)

  When I stream videos or watch a DVD with my HP laptop, often enough the video slows way and audio will sound very strange-sounding and the dialog box is slow and very robotic, sometimes, when this is the case I will also have a pop-up indicating that the silverlight plug in has stopped working. I have the window pop up maybe 1 out of 10 times the problem occurs. Can you tell me what could be the cause of this and how can I solve this problem? Please and thank you :-)

  This problem may occur if an existing Silverlight installation or uninstall has become corrupt.

• Problem with headphones in collaboration with audio jack laptop Lenovo touch G510s?

  The speakers on the laptop itself work, but when I plug it into any pair a headset or headphones (I tried 5 well known pairs) and it's the same problem each time. The right ear piece works and the left does not. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, nothing helps.

  I think it's a hardware problem and it has a warranty until May 30, 2015, but I don't have the time or money to send it offshore to lenovo of difficulty (expensive to send from the military base).

  Is there a simple solution like an audio jack usb or something that I can use to be able to use a headset?

  You can get a good cheap sound card USB off Amazon and use instead.

  Before you replaced the fan, did you get to try a BIOS reset? If this isn't the case, please put back the old fan in Notepad and try to do a reset of the BIOS with the old fan in.

  You receive errors with the old fan? What led to replace you the fan? The reason I ask is because of way General, the laptop must have some sort of indication that it starts. Even if the fan is malfunctioning. The fact that yours won't start not even for 1 second leads me to believe that the issue is not the fan.

  I looked the part number that you provided me. The fan you bought does not appear to be a part of certified HP. That said, there may be complications resulting from a scenario like that. I can't guarantee the functionality of the parts of a Web site not HP.

  Here's your Guide to Service and Maintenance. You will find the part number for the fan you need 639460-001. This includes the thermal replacement hardware.

  You can use the HP part Surfer to order a new fan that will be compatible with your laptop.

  Hello, I bought a HP 2000-2b43dxbefore 15 days and I am sneaking suspicion there is problem wih fan / air on my laptop.

  When I turned my laptop first and next 2-3 days, my fan was silent until I couldn't hear his work so its normal because when I turn the laptop there is no operation takes this fan needs to cool the components.

  After using my laptop for 3-4 days I have noticed that my cooling fan starting immediately when I turn laptop and fan so it is quieter as the first 2-3 days. Some portable cooling is controlled by an algorithm in the BIOS ROM, which is based on the temperature ramp (delta) in the motherboard and CPU.

  The fan come on your laptop starting up is quite normal. If the temperature is too hot the CPU turns off as self protection.  There are a number of Programs utility we can use if we're slightly paraniod on the temperature of the processor of the laptop, but so general, it is not really much to worry.
