Problems of "Dashboard" Seagate Desktop Backup

I just bought a new Seagate 3 t desktop backup, and when I run a diagnostic on it, I like that it is running properly.  However, the "Dashboard" operating system that is supposed to start the backup does not work and all that I get the following message: 'dashboard Seagate has stopped working. A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.   I bought the Seagate device yesterday and started a backup after loading everything, but at halfway, he finished.  Thus, at least at the beginning, she was working, and now it isn't.  Maybe someone has any ideas as to what is the problem?  I've been on the site of Seagate, and they offer no help with their software "dashboard".  For any help or suggestion would be appreciated!

  • Problem with Creative Cloud Desktop app for Windows 8.1 update

    Hi, I have updated my desktop and laptop to Windows 8.1 over the last day and have noticed a problem with the Cloud Desktop creative application.

    Some menu items when I right click on either the CC system tray icon, or click the menu settings in the interface of the application itself does not show.  I've included a screenshot of the problem.

    I tried to uninstall and reinstall the desktop application, but it did not work.  Any ideas?

  • Problems with BBC iPlayer Desktop and Adobe Air for Mac

    I would be grateful to anyone who can help me with a problem I have on my laptop computer running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3.I has problems running BBC iPlayer Desktop, and I suspect that it is caused by Adobe Air.

    Hi Ryan,

    Could you try to delete the folder preferences of BBC iPlayer then restarting iPlayer to see if that helps?  You should be able to find this in ~/Library/preferences.  Find the folder from BBCiPlayerDesktop and a long series of characters and move or rename this folder.

    I'm afraid, Seagate Support try their best to give an answer that will cover all the problems that may arise.

    Because you can't save the picture of the system directly on your 3 TB hard drive, you can save on your 1.5 TB hard drive, and then copy it to 3 TB external hard drive.

    Do you get the login screen before the black screen?    You never even get to the desktop?

    Try this fix.  You will need an XP installation CD.  If you don't have that it is OK to borrow one.  Try to get the same version of XP as your example Home/Pro/Media

    Configure your PC to boot from the CD if it is not already configured in this way. You may need to enter the BIOS to configure the PC to boot from the CD.

    Set the boot order of

    Floppy (if present)

    CDROM

    Hard drive

    RECORDING and EXIT

    All these problems started after I downloaded an upgrade of windows (last year I think). Whenever I started my computer to the taskbar and stuff Aero initiated very well, then after a few seconds the taskbar became white and disable Aero. Now, it is even worse, Windows just to start with the Basic (looking for old windows) theme and even if I try to restart the Desktop Window Manager, it will not work. Yesterday I installed and Nvidia card (the PC came with a built-in video chip only) and I was hoping to get the fix for the problem, but did not *. I also downloaded the Fix Aero tool and nothing. Even the msconfig.exe won't help. What can I do? It frustrates me.

    Remote Desktop software update is large but with a very annoying problem that I am facing.

    -Click on 'Options '.
    -Click the "View" tab
    -On "Display Configuration" settings, you can change the display of "Remote Desktop connection" by moving the slider of "small to large.
    -By moving the "slider" all the way to large, the display settings will automatically set in 'full screen '.

    You can try CTRL-ALT & Break to return to the screen in full-screen.

    I want to control my desktop with my Tablet - both running windows 7 but I'm having a few problems.
    First, I create an ad hoc network on one computer and connect with each other via the wireless. No problem - I drop part I activate the remote desktop on both computers.
