• New firmware, new problems with EA4500

  I logged this morning to a new firmware on my EA4500. I have disabled the automatic upgrades when I got the device because at the time of the hidden networks was not supported by the firmware of the Wi - Fi chip.   Try the Revert to previous FW?

  Safely update FW, I recommend doing the following:
  1 save the router config to the file first using IE or FF with all modules disabled security.
  2 factory reset the router with all devices disconnected or turned off accept for 1 Wired PC.
  3 reload or update the FW using IE or FF. Just download the FW file to your wired local LAN PC.
  4 factory reset the router and then set up from zero all first and test with loading saved configuration from the file. Check if problems are solved before loading the saved configuration file.

  I'm having difficulties to connect to our network of 5 GHz. When I open the list of available networks on my laptop (new windows 10 Toshiba) and Iphone(5s) only our 2.4 GHz standard is displayed.   k, im having some problems with halo 2 for vista. I bought the game off of ebay, less than a week ago. the installation went well, that I chose to wait until after that she installed to play halo 2. but as soon as I started the game, I noticed a slight jolt every second or two. When I actually played the game it was worse. It was not the normal kind of LAG that slows just your framerate altogether, it was as if I was getting excellent and left images falling for about 1 second and then got great fps again for 2 sec then droppped to 1. It was very difficult to actually shoot and kill the enemies, I still managed to get 5 achievements far however.

  My my pc specs are:

  ATI raedon HD 4650 (TOTALLY should be able to handle Halo 2, no problem)

  8 GB of ram (no problem either)

  4x2.4 gHz AMD phenom 9750. (no problem at all! unless the clock speed is a little slow, nuclei form for this)

  my pc however, gets a total score of 5.1, with the highest tier in cpu with 5.9.

  Please, please tell me how I can solve this problem, I left EVERYTHING until I opened the game (in the task monitor, took off from all processes that were losing cpu) I reinstalled the drivers, I installed x 9 direct because I heard 10 was bugged, ive done everything I can I know. so please let me know what I can do to solve this problem. it sucks to waste money on a good computer and a good game, when none of them is working properly!

  I bought a new Dell XPS 13 edition gold (I think this is the model 9550) 3 days ago and it arrived today. Out of the box, I'm not able to connect to WiFi 5 GHz networks or pair / connect with 2 adapters bluetooth audio.

  When I try to pair with an adapter bluetooth audio by clicking on "Sign in" from the system tray notification Center, I am able to see the pair of devices, but get the error message "Unable to connect" yellow. I tried to connect to a Sony XB950 bluetooth headset and a bluetooth-to-optical audio receiver Belkin HD 955).

  When I try to connect to a Wifi 5 GHz network (using my own Cisco 2702i enterprise access point, or my ASUS RT-AC66U friends), I can see the little icon of WiFi in the bar spots disappear and reappear several times, with a red X over the icon. After flashing several times, I get the error "unable to connect to this network. I can connect successfully to 2.4 GHz networks, but not 5 GHz ones.

  I installed all the updates of Windows and installed all updates through the "Dell Update" utility. This figure includes an update of the firmware. I also tried to uninstall the Bluetooth and Wi - Fi adapters via the Windows Device Manager. The drivers for the two adapters are completely up to date as of this post.

  Once again, crazy I had to do with such a cheap laptop... I will think hard on the purchase of Dell in the future.

I remember once seeing a pop-up window saying that I couldn't run so many apps at once but as I said, that is how I use my MacBook for a long time, and yet I've never had this kind of problem before. Apparently, I wouldn't have to allocate RAM to individual applications as the system does this automatically if what could go wrong here?

  I searched Microsoft for a fix for this and that they indicate on the forums that if you change the channel of the router on a different channel, that might solve the problem of connection of 5 GHz.

  You can disable ipv6 for the laptop. Some say this helps.

  I own a laptop A100-0FH with the core duo T2050 @ 533 MHz FSB processor. I intend to upgrade the processor T2700 core duo @ 667 MHz FSB. Does anyone have any information that might be useful before you go ahead and finish the upgrade? I've already updated the bios and memory is 4 GB maximum - I want to just make sure that the thing will work before I do it. Someone did he do this upgrade in the past?   T2700 2.33 Ghz CPU is faster as a 1.6MGhz CPU Core Duo T2050 and they produce more heat. So maybe the laptop wouldn't not stable after the upgrade.

  Wire in a BT Home Hub

  Laptop HP EVO, running wireless

  Problem:

  I can no longer print the laptop wireless. I need to go to my office and print something. Then only the printer seems to be "awake", and then I can print from the laptop. As you can imagine this is not how it is supposed to be and this causes a lot of frustration.

  The printer is also set for a static IP address (it was to solve other printing problems ). I also checked the firmware, and it is up to date.

  Please tell us how to solve this problem.

  There could be many reasons why this is happening, so please bear with me.

  I see what your printer firmware is up to date, which is good.

  • Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  Please try Fix It tool of Microsofts, solve printer problems.

  You do not share the printer from the computer desktop you have in sharing files and printing? Otherwise, this could cause part of the problem.

  Do you turn the printer power on and off?

  I can't see what your printer is connected to the BT Hub with an ethernet cable.

  It is possible that the laptop is connected to the printer cannot communicate on the 5.0 GHz network. If they are of the same name that will be confusing.

  Have you tried to configure the wireless and no cable connection on the printer to see if it makes a difference?

  How old is the router, have you also checked to see if the router firmware is up-to-date?

  I see that you have setup a static IP address. It's a good idea to assign the printer a static IP address outside your DHCP range. For example, some routers default DHCP is located between 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.200. So, I would use 192.168.0.232.

  While in SAP, open the network tab, and then select IPv4.

  Set the manual DNS on the printer.

  • Set the primary DNS as 8.8.8.8
  • And the secondary DNS as 8.8.4.4
