  • Having a problem with my DVD player with regard to media playback

    Hello

I have recently had problems with my DVD ROM read drive media correctly, when I put in a computer game (lets say Star Craft 2 as an example at random) Autorun makes me up some options and says it's an image and request either 1.) Open the files and view them, or 2.) See all photos in Windows and some other similar options.
It will not recognize the game as a game and will not bring up the menu to install the game or whatever it is, sorta solve this problem I put the automatic run settings so that it opens files in the photo (since it is the software game image processing) and once he opens the folder I click on the installation program manually.
I checked my driver to ensure that it is up-to-date.
For any help or suggestion will be welcome.

    SOLVED!

I found out with a little research it was Vista blocks the autorun.inf files in games and keep them to read and run the .exe files automatically and so he held a photo, thank you for the help and suggestions.
  • Satellite P30 turn off - also problems with burning DVDs

    Hi Please help me.
I had a row with my brother and it won't help.

My Pc is only a year old and it turns off. I would say it was because of overheating, but he just did and it isn't really that hot.
I put on the books, not on my knees, keep him away heat, crash back to the desktop.
It makes me crazy, please, any help or advice or anything like that would be a great help.

I also have problems with my dvd burner, always, he gets to about 17% and said that there is a mistake, thought it was the discs but surely it can be all 100 of them, I tried turning on and off but no use.
Also the advice would be great!

Please help a girl in need of a working Pc! Who does not know a lot of technical stuff!

    Hello

Overheating problems usually occur because the cooling module cannot work properly.
Fans are unable to work because of the dirt and dust inside the laptop.
The best way to clear the fans is to use the vacuum cleaner.

On the problems of DVD writer: well, it's not easy to say why it happens. Have you checked media dvd from different manufacturers? Many CD/DVD media works differently, and you should check it out.
In addition, there is a problem with the burning software. I put t know what application you're using, but you should try to use Nero. It's very nice software and I m very happy. Check it out

  • Unknown problem caused media player to close and that to protect my Media Player Windows has disabled skins

    Original title: "skins".
I recently downloaded a lot of skins from the microsoft Web site, and it worked very well for about an hour. Then I saw a skin called 'come back' I don't not download but recalled seeing in my default skins that were already installed. I wanted to see what it was and when I did caused a problem which I can't specify because the notification window remained only until fairly long for me to see (in a nutshell) "unknown problem caused media player to close and to protect my Media Player Windows has disabled skins. Now, I spent over 3 hours to try each answer in the forums for this issue and not one worked for me. I am running Windows Vista Home Basic and I can't find a way to reactivate my skin so that I can use only skins working know is the company and changing the skin that caused the problem. I tried deleting and reinstalling all the skins again, but again does not help. I tried to do a right click on the skin to go to properties to activate as suggested in the forums, but when I right click on it nothing happens. So now I have like 20 downloaded skins but the only way that they work is if I download again and choose to view them, but if I try to change the playlist or switch to full mode then it goes to firm skin and I download it again to get the one I want. I am so frustrated with this problem which I think should be a very easy thing to fix, but nothing I try works. Please help me. Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.

    Hello

    Method 1:
You can perform a scan SFC and check.

    Method 2:
Alternatively, you can try to uninstall and reinstall windows media player and check:
    a. click Start and select Control Panel.
    b. click on programs and features.
    c. click on or turn off Windows features turn on on the left side.
    d. develop media features; Uncheck Windows Media Player.
    e. click Yes and OK to continue.
    f. restart the computer.
WMP12 would be uninstalled now. Restart the computer.

Note: If WMP12 is already disabled, follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Problem playing Movie DVD Maker

"Movie Maker" to burn the DVD in the past. Everything worked fine and still play DVDs without problem. Manufacturing DVD now works fine all the way including "Overview". The burn process ends, but when I play the DVD (will play on any player) the video compressed on only half of the screen (horizontally) the bottom half is green. 'Menu' executives are also screened. The audio is good. Reset the filters 'default', but still have the same problem. Any ideas?

Thank you for your response. On further investigation, I found that if the files have been marked ".avi", they were actually converted 'Divx' files. Used a program that can handle Divx files and dvd has proved that the fine. Again, thank you for your response.

  • Problems with media player 11 and all other players, playing music is broken?

Problems with media player 11 and all other players, playing music is broken?

    Hi all

I have a big sound even and odd / problem reading music?

My computer using windows media player 11 and classic media windows and others to play my music in the hard lists recorded by windows media player 11 copied from my CD.

But here's the weird problem that only started to happen now, when I play music saved on any one of the players of the computer the sound breaks sometimes but not always?

Even if I try tp use players like windows media player 11 to play recorded video clips sound breaks toward the top, but the video image only?

I have a newly completed with windows xp home system and service pack 3, and all memory and material necessary for a pc game of level, a new graphics card was installed and by the way the problem of noise was there before this was done?

I don't know what is the fault? And I don't know how to find out what the required audio driver are for his computer system I?

I tried the right click on the audio device to see if the pilot could be updated in case that's all? All he asks is a cd or a floppy disk, but I thought you could ask to search for drivers online too?

He even now breaks the game sounds too!

    Help, please

If you access Windows Update (start - programs - Windows Update), you can
see if there is a newer driver. The drivers are optional updates are not so made
    automatically.

Download the driver for your audio hardware manufacturer (or motherboard if
"It's built-in sound). They are often newer than Windows Update.

This explains how to disable the improvements.

  • Problems with media player and Streaming Online & Essentials

I didn't know where to post this because it concerns problems reading media downloaded and all media and streaming online. In other words, any media. I have now found my problem with the problem and that's coming from MS Essentials and becomes very disruptive. Carefully One I've ever had this problem and it's probably because it was not a free service, however, since I installed essentials the problem has worsened. Also on one of my computers, the update will start just randomly and all but shuts down the system. Yet once, never happened with care. If this problem persists I will launch essentials to another more compatible antivirus protection system. Moreover, it happens with all other types of media also like Real Player and i Tunes so it is not exclusive to WMP.    All resolutions to this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

  • SOLVED problem with my DVD/CD _

    Hello

I have a problem with my DVD/CD. Although Device Manager says, "this device works properly.". It does not at all.

I'm very suspicious of the cable connections. The cable has been severely pinched by my grandson. It did not close, and instead to find the cause, he forced its closure.

So what I want to know is if I can buy the cable online and install it myself.  I have searched but cannot find a place to buy one, and although I searched on the Dell site, I couldn't find anything there either.

    Thanks for reading...

  • Problems with the DVD on Pavilion dv6-2010sa

HP Pavilion dv6-2010sa laptop computer (under Windows 7 x 64), I bought less than a week ago.

I started the disk recovery software to back up my OS in the event of future disasters.

I used a DVD + disc, so it would take 3 discs to do the recovery disks.

First DVD completed successfully. Software asked me to enter the disk 2.

This is where I started to have problems.

Drive recovery software couldn't recognize my blank dvd +.

The drive makes a lot of noise, but then stopped making noise.

I tried a few other DVDs +, but to no avail.

I rebooted the computer laptop and tried but same problem.

So I tried to play a dvd movie to see if it was the disk recovery software or the dvd player.

He would not play a dvd movie.

I also tried to play an audio CD but the same problem.

The drive icon appears in Windows Explorer, but does not display any info (or open the CD / DVD) when I have a CD or a DVD in there.

So it seems to be a problem with the DVD-> grateful not any CD / DVD

    If someone can advise?

PS. I searched the driver DVD (so I could Reinstall driver) but the HP Web site does not contain the driver for 2010sa (DVD software only)

    Thanks in advance

    Gary

    Problem solved.

    Uninstall the device dvd player:

-Device Manager > do a right-click post dvd/cd player > uninstall the device

Restart the laptop and OS will reinstall the driver and the DVD/CD drive should start working again (well this is what has happened to me)

  • Problem with still DVD CS6. Cancellation writing disc

Hello. I need help - I have a problem with Encore DVD CS6. When the DVD disc is written the end of the process program cancel displays this text: "Still could not complete the operation due to an error in hardwar (detection code 40902)" it is in mac os. In windows, the problem is the same but the detection code is 300200. What is it?   Disk space is sufficient.

As a test, generate an image rather than burn them to a disc.

Sense errors are usually, but not always material.

You use the same drive (external?)? Are you using the same disks? (Sense code errors can be disks.)

Many of us don't burn ever with still, using ImgBurn for PC or for Mac toast.

  • Problem with Media Center recorded TV shows DVD burning.

I recorded a few TV using Media Center shows and when I try to burn on a DVD they start and then slow down and stop. I tried on two different computers Vista with Home Premium and the other with Ultra same on both. They identify to the about 23 to 32% complete before stopping and don't ever burn anything on disks. It is said that the engraving is underway.

    Hi Kb11,

Have a. you tried to burn on a different DVD?

    B. do you use a third-party burning software on your computer for CD and DVD burning?

    C. Have burn you TV shows successfully earlier?

    D. do you have an error when burning?

Burning a TV show on a DVD can take some time to complete, depending on three factors: the length of the speed of your burner DVD, added video files and resources of your computer system. Wait for a while and see if it ends.

    1. Click the Start button, click all programs, and then click Windows Media Center.
    2. If Media Center is not full screen mode, click the maximize button.
    3. Insert a blank recordable DVD into your DVD burner.
    4. Click on the notification, burn a CD or DVD which appears.

If you do not see the notification, on the Windows Media Center start screen, navigate to tasks, and then click Burn CD/DVD.

    1. In the Select the disc Format page, click Vidéo DVD, and then click Next.
    2. Type a name for your DVD, and then click Next.
    3. On the Select media page, click recorded TV or video library, and then click Next.
    4. Select the items you want to burn (check marks appear on or next to the items that you select) and then click Next.
    5. To add more TV shows or video files on the disc, on the Review & Edit page, click add more.
    6. Repeat steps 5 through 7 until you have added all the shows recorded TV and videos you want to burn.
    7. On the page of review & edit , click Burn DVDs.
    8. In the opening of copy notification, click Yes.
    9. Once the disc is burned, in the notification filling burn , click done.

  • Problem creating recover DVD - Equium L350

Please help, I just bought a L350 laptop and cannot create a recovery DVD.
The writing of the DVD begins, and after 10-15 minutes the fails and I get the following message:

The following question ccured while recoding data on the disk. A power calibration area error.
Please, check if the disc is scratched or dirty, if so, please try again with a new disc. (error code: 0e01b5-26-00037304)

    Hello

You get the power calibration error?
Well, this error appears if the disk s lens may not calibrate properly in place.
Above all, it occurs due to a mechanical problem s drive and in most cases, the CD/DVD drive must be replaced.

On the other hand, the goal could not calibrate correctly using not compatible and not support CDs or DVDs.

Have you tried burning different media from different manufacturers?
If this is not the case, try this!

    Good luck
