• Problem with external hard drive (an unexpected error - 50)

  I've had this problem for a few months now. Sometimes, I can't delete a file from my external hard drive, or export a file to it. The process is impossible, and I get a message "Cannot perform the action due to an unexpected error - 50". Ejecting the disc gives the message "eject impossible because another program can use it." Ejection force becomes the only option. After re-login, the problem goes away, like nothing ever happened.

  The question is not constant, but quite common to become a nuisance, the one I want stopped.

  That's what I think it is (a bad connection with the cable, defective contact), or is this a virus? I need to know.

  Need your help. I have problems with my external hard drive. I worked on it yesterday when the cable is a little detached and disassembled my intestinal HARD drive.

  Here are the specs:

  1 Macbook Air 11.5 "running on El Capitan (10.11.1)

  2 Buffalo Ministation external (1 TB) HARD disk divided into two: a Mac partition (for time machine) and the other a windows on FAT32 partition.

  Before the accident yesterday, it was working OK.

  Now, when I connect the HARD drive, it turns on but the Mac partition cannot be mounted (it does not appear on the Finder. I opened disk utility... just load forever and does not work) and the Windows partition is visible... but I can't take it apart without turning my computer.

  I can assemble and disassemble a USB stick very well.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  I would like to make some general comments before having your replay.

  It is not wise to use TM on a disk with apple unformatted or partitions, it is preferable to have a dedicated TM drive also.

  For TM, the rule is that the drive is about 3 times the size of the boot disk.

  Normally you 'survive' a good step disassemble the drive external, but in this case with a another partition formatted on this subject, I'm not sure if that do not corrupt the disk, especially since the Windows partition is bootable. I have suspct the partition GUID on the TM partition table is corrupt.

  I propose to start the disk completely: in DiskUtility select the 'higher' level (name of manufacturer) and the Partition, one OS X Extended (journaled) partition table Partition GUID. And use it only for TM, is not too big for this.

  Have another drive formatted NTFS for Windows.

  I have a Satellite U200 - 10 d running Vista Business Edition. When I attach an external display screen flickers (horizontal lines on the screen)... It's worse when you move the mouse on the screen. The monitor on the laptop is fine I just have problems with the external display.

• Problem with external monitor when used with the Satellite P100-434

  I'm trying to use a Vizitron L - 151 monitor flat screen connected to the VGA port on the back of my Satellite P100 - 434 (PSPADE)

  I find that the screens seem to periodically - feeding cycle windows resize themselves and then the screens settle down again. This happens with the laptop and the external monitor.

  I've updated the latest available BIOS V4.20 (November 2, 2007) I use 7.15.11.6369 NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 driver version. I'm under the edition of Vista Home Premium to standard build.

  I even resorted to the use of the dvd system recovery to rebuild completely the laptop and the problem persists. In Device Manager I have generic Non - PnP monitor and below that I have a generic PnP monitor I tried and it is not possible to get specific drivers for the monitor Vizitron L-151. * NOTE * I saw dxdiag that the external display is identified the Non - PnP device

  The display configuration that I'm trying to use is to have my laptop as the main screen with the external display on my left as an extension to the desktop. In display config my computer screen appears as number 2 with the additional display in the poster as a device 1

  While typing this my screens have made this three times and the last time, this IE7 window installs itself to the external display in restored down to size.

  If anyone has a glimpse of it, I would be very grateful. There are no problems when the external display is deleted.

  I recommend you change this settings and to use books appear as 1 and the external display form 2.

• X230T USB 3 port sleep problem with external Blu - Ray drive

  Hi all

  I bought a new LG external blu - ray drive and I have problems with it sleeps very quickly.  It is recognized in Windows 7 and will be available for a short period of time after I turn it on, but if I don't use it for 30 seconds, it's in a kind of fashion 'sleep'.  It works perfectly on the single WE port 2.0 on the X230T so there must be something with the 3.0 port.  The drive is powered by an AC adapter and USB 3.0 cable included one.

  I tried to disable all the properties sleeping USB in all areas of power management and power options in Windows.  Also enabled and disabled USB hub root energy saving.  Also, I went through the BIOS and threw the USB options as well and can't find why it is go to sleep so quickly.  I have the latest firmware on the drive, as well as the latest drivers Lenovo USB 3.0 for the X230T.

  I guess I'm out of luck at this point because I think I've tried all possible solutions?

  I have looked on the specs and do not see why this problem should occur. I would make sure that the BIOS is updated, if you have not already. The latest BIOS for your machine is 2.03 and came out a month ago. This update, you can find here. And if this does not work, can you check and publish what are the settings in your BIOS Config > USB Configuration?

  I have a similar setup and it had worked, connect Windows 'sqlplus /@connect_string_database' worked well against the database unix/vms.

  Maybe problem with domains or subdomains or database such as remote_os_authent parameter (set it true)

  I watched the news and I see a lot of message about invalid tokens. The main reason is usually that the 'shared secret' you use is bad. If please, check the value for the secret shared in the DevPortal and make sure it is what you use in your application.

  Also, remember that the external authentication tokens are 'one shot': they are valid for the duration of a single session of the specified room, so if you start a room, stop it and start it again, you will have to generate new tokens.

• Creation of rooms with external authentication

  My application works like this: each user has its own bathroom, and I needed to let them publish and subscribe, but do not have (and does so not sup rooms). So they connect on my site, get an auth token of LCC, and then create a ConnectSession with this authentication token. But unless I have getAuthenticationToken with 100 owner privileges, it fails with

  not sufficient permissions to create a new CollectionNode. You must be the OWNER of the room to add new multiuser features to it. Connect with the developer credentials to do this.

  So what I need to know is how

  (A) create a room for the user by using external authentication

  (B) allow the user to connect to this room with Publisher privileges after obtaining an auth token.

  (C) allow other users to connect to this room with Publisher privileges after having received the same authentication token.

  Any help greatly appreciated and samples of code please!

  That certainly should not. We will ignore all aspects of authentication

  here and just assumed that you always come as an EDITOR, since this

  should be able to work.

  I just crossed the workflow using the Console from the room and was able to

  get this to work. A couple of control points:

  (1) can you log in the templateroom room in the Console room and check on

  the Explorer tab it has a CollectionNode put in place for the cat? (it will be

  named "xxx_SimpleChat")

  (2) I am reading this right, you have named the new model

  "templateroom" as well? Maybe try to name "templateapp" instead?

  (3) once you have created a templateapp in the Console room, try adding a new

  room to it via the Console (the button "Add" in the column of rooms). Sign in to

  the new room, you just created and check his tab Explorer - just it

  with the collectionNode you saw in your style room?

But it all comes to a cause I can't seem to see a little icon in fashion design javascript to connect my widget external javascript to support javascript on my page. Why is this?   Depends on which widgets you want and what you need to make them specifically for you. Maybe start a new thread, listing widgets that you feel you need and what you want to do with them.

  You do not have available in the Insert bar Spry widgets, but they can or may not be able to accomplish some of the things you like to do, be specific about what you want to do on your end, and what you want the end result to be. Send examples if you have.

  Many widgets will require some, if not encoding extended, to get the best out of them. For example, widgets to http://ui.jquery.com/ can do something relatively well, but in Dreamweaver CS3, you need to enter the code to be able to set a lot of options.

  Where it's important, DWCS4 added a "web widgets" option that allows you to install widgets from the Exchange:

  I am designing a platform for a network of comments, which must be isolated from the LAN, the following facilities:

  • WLC 7.0.230.0 (Cisco 5508 controller)---> foreign wlc
  • WLC 7.0.230.0 (Cisco 5508 controller)---> wlc anchor.

  The PAES tunnel between wlc is successfully completed.

  The wireless client gets the IP address of the anchor wlc (DHCP server).

  Test 1:

  I have set up the ANCHOR WLC with local web authentication (internal), the wireless client is authenticated by WLC and successfully navigate.

  Test 2:

  Configure the authentication web external anchor (ISE) WLC. Configure a user to the portal comments ISE.

  The wireless client gets the IP address of the anchor wlc (DHCP server), attempting to engage not display comments portal.

  Debugging a wireless client, try to connect to the guest network is attached.

• Satellite M30X: Problems with external USB 2.0 HARD drive

  I put t know if this can help, but you can try to connect a USB hub with an external power supply. Then try to connect this external HARD disk to the USB hub.
  I know that it of not a exactly the solution but maybe it will help you to solve this problem of USB.

  I was wondering if someone can help me, got a problem where the external script is running without problems, the file gets generated and released into the log folder then file disappears as expected.

  When the file disappears, file does not appear to have sent to the BB server. The file has no file extension.

  The customer is 4.40 and the host file is defined by:

  I expect that filename must display the column in Big Brother, but does not...

  The first line must begin with the color of the State for the test (usually green, yellow or red). The rest of the file can contain anything; If you click on the color on the screen of Big Brother, you will see the contents of the file.
