Program compatibility tells that my system was OK to upgrade Vista to Windows 7 Home Premium. During installation, I received the prompt "uninstall PC-Cillin" in order to move forward.

The ID of the product corresponds to the key for product activation. That's why it failed. The original operating system was an OEM version.
I suggest either to buy HP recovery media or a HP partner for the route more inexpensive to solve this.

Why was the Windows 7 Home Premium (re) installation disc not bundled with my laptop?

Unfortunately, they do not group the disks more. You will see a OneKey recovery on the portable utility that allows you to make your own recovery DVDs.
-Tell the truth, the units are activated by a corporate license system. The key on the bottom of the laptop is to serve as a proof of purchase, but the Windows 7 license for the software on your laptop probably does not match it.
In other words, you won't need the lower button with the recovery discs. If "offering you" your own discs (in my case, retail drives), use one on the bottom.

What is the difference between 'Windows 7 Home Premium' (which has, it starts at $119 on the site Web - but then Bills to $199) and "Windows Anytime Upgrade: Windows 7 Home Premium" (which lists for $79.95)?
Windows Anytime Upgrade is for upgrading from one version of Windows 7 to a more expensive version. For example, Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 Home Premium.

With Windows 7, I get stations but Guide cannot download lists.
Media Center of Vista had worked correctly before the upgrade.
I have the analog and digital tuners on one card and use the cable (Comcast) analog and digital antenna.
Since Windows 7, I am not prompted to select a cable company after entering the postal code in the installer.

Hi, I do not know if this is where I would ask such a question, and if not, then maybe you could tell me where to look. We bought a new system from Best Buy. It is Windows 7 Home Premium and it is an Asus. We had transfer documents and pictures of our old XP system and when this was done, I think that there has been a large number of files and or programs transferred with them that I don't know if we really need. Because our XP system was built by a friend, I could not even tell you what everything was there. We had Microsoft Office 2003 with the Outlook e-mail. In any case, I would like to clean install it no need to update, if possible. It can!

According to your description, I don't think that the updates for Windows XP would be transferred.
To free up space on your hard disk, search disk cleanup and then removes temporary files on your computer that you decide that you no longer need.
If you want to reduce the number of unnecessary files on your hard disk to free up disk space and help your computer run faster, use disk cleanup. It removes temporary files, empty the Recycle Bin, and removes a variety of file system and other items that you no longer need.

I have no idea how the product key has been changed to my OS to an OEM_SLP as I have the genuine key supplied with the system on the COA label.
I bought this system through Best Buy and today I received a notice that it uses a non-genuine version of Windows 7 Home Premium, but when I noticed the wrong product key, I have been unable to return to the good pair through my computer properties in the Activation of Windows.

How can I create system recovery disc for a new laptop with windows 7 Home Premium?
I just bought my daughter a new Toshiba Satellite with Windows 7 Home Premium laptop last night. The laptop came with a Windows restore disk. How to create a set of boot from the DVD then when the system fails, or I need a new facility? I created a system repair disc and two-disc Image recovery. Is this enough to fully restore Windows 7 to the initial state of machines? (Technology at best buy assured me that it was nothing that I was able to do and that they would do for me for $70.00.)
In short: my Dell came with a system recovery disk which was very convenient. I would like to reproduce this convenience with Windows 7. Any help appreciated.

You will need to follow the manufacturers directions to create the recovery media. Looks like you've done that, but Toshiba could only say with certainty. I recommend that you contact their customer service.

If you are running a 32-bit version of Vista and upgrade to a 64-bit (Windows 7 edition) version, you'll have a pure make install, it is the opposite case.
If you are using Windows Vista Home Basic or Premium consumer editions, you can only upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium or Ultimate.
