  The internal mic on my Qosmio F50 has suddenly stopped working. I tried to configure, but it doesn't seem to be picking up all the sounds. I have also tried reinstalling the sound and chipset drivers but had no luck.

  If you do not want to be interrupted when you save the video on your iPad, try to activate do not disturb.

  May I ask what OS are you using?
  Is this Toshiba pre-installed Vista OS or have you installed Win XP?

  From my experience the iaStor0 for the SATA driver file belongs and maybe it s a HARD drive problem

  Have you changed anything in the BIOS?
  Maybe something like SATA to AHCI mode compatible mode?

  I connected my Qosmio F50 on a projector and watched a few movies and everything worked fine. But when I started playing an EA Sports NBA 2008 the system has collapsed and the image of the screen and the missing projector.

  I rebooted and tried again but after 10-15 minutes it collapsed again. I installed the latest version of the graphics driver nvidia a few days ago. Any help is appreciated, sorry for the bad English.

  Hi, I'm looking for help installed the graphics Toshiba update video library 2.2 for Windows 7.

  I did a clean install of Windows 7 ultimate on my Toshiba Qosmio F50 - 10Z, installed everything fine, including Flash cards. But I have a problem installing the graphics update video library 2.2. I downloaded the version of Windows 7 GVL of the support page and found that the update includes 2 folders (?), 1.2 and 2.2.

  I ran the update 1.2 first and installed ok, but when I try to install the 2.2 update it displays a dialog box indicating that installation cannot continue because the old database of chart library was found.

  Someone has an idea in how to get this installed update?

  In my opinion the update 2.2 (or new version) cannot be installed because version 2.1 was installed and the error message means that this old graph library database was found.

  In my opinion you should delete/uninstall video Library 2.1 system and then you must run version 2.2.

• Qosmio F50 - how to adjust the video output?

  I have a F50 - 12W.

  On the side, there are 2 mini-jack ports. One is for headphones and a microphone. But the helmet also has a small logo of a symbol of a/v output.
  In the box when I got the laptop, came a plug to phono cable and video. I assume it's for video output. But can find no mention in the manual, or by a google search.
  How ever many I have set the output settings screen, I can't work.

• Qosmio F50-114 - how to use the video cable?

  I have a Qosmio F50-114.
  I want to capture video via the video cable supplied with the computer.

  The computer came with a video component cable software plug-in (1 x 3, 5mm - 3xRCA white/red/yellow). The only place in the manual stating that cable is the only a-in-the-box-section.

  On my old Qosmio F20, I had a specific connector for the video cable component software plug-in. There is no specific 3, 5mm connector so I suspect that I have to join one of the IR ports, or one of the audio-connectors (?).

  Looking forward to a response.

  Don t get me wrong, but I'm 99.9% sure that there is no video port on Qosmio F50. As far as I know that these books are not available, they have a video output only, port but not port of entry to capture video.
  So you mixed up something I think

  What you may be hearing is integrated TV Tuner, but on this port you can only record videos from DVB - T signal.

  Have you tried to update the audio driver?

  You have this problem only with the internal speakers? Try it with external systems.

  Also check the sound settings, maybe it is a bad thing.
