Qosmio G does not recognize the mouse using two left USB ports

I'm right handed so I naturally put my optical mouse Saitec in the port of the right hand.

The other day I plugged it in the ports of the two left hand and the machine did not recognize the mouse.
He went through the process of installing the drivers (even if it was done a few weeks ago, when I plugged in the port of the right hand)

In any case the mouse doesn't at all plugged into ports on the left side.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why what is happening?
Look of Sean.

Hello

Have you tested the two left with other USB devices USB ports. That is to say USB flash stick?
Maybe you should do this to see if it could be a defective USP port.

But I recommend to test this;
First disconnect all USB devices
Then go into the Device Manager and all the USB host controller and hubs USB remove from the list of devices.
Close all windows and restart the laptop.

Finally the operating system should recognize the new devices (USB ports) again.
Connect a USB device to one of the ports on the left and check if it would work.

Good bye

PS: What Qosmio do you have?

    Hello
Passage of the Pro x 86 to x 64. I do not have a disk original as a burnt image, which seems to me to be recent. I got the link for him to store chat session windows today. Keyboard and wireless mouse work fine in the bios. When it is at the first Setup screen (where it asks for the language, country, etc) there is no cursor or keyboard response, so I can't start the installation. I have ONLY usb 3.0 on this build. X 86 installed fine. Any recommendations? I tried to unplug all other usb devices and tried UN / reconnect the bluetooth receiver. Nothing seems to help.

Another couple of things you can try is:

    (1) check your BIOS for USB, mouse, wirelesss options settings.

    (2) move the transmitter to a different USB port USB wireless until you find one that works.

(I suggest this because 2 of my ports were dead until I could insstall Windows, then the pilot, but worked at least 2 other ports).

  • L50-B-11J satellite does not recognize the HARD drive connected by USB 3.0

    Hello

I recently bought a new laptop and install a new legal copy of windows pro 8.1.

The problem that arises is actually a USB 3.0 port.
Also, I have a drive external hard support standard USB 2.0 and 3.0.

When I plug-in the hard drive into a USB 2.0 or any USB 3.0 port (two port supports USB 3.0 is disabled in the BIOS) fine, hard drive is recognized and I can access.

But, when I plug-in the hard disk into a USB 3.0 port (two port supports USB 3.0 is active in the BIOS) Windows does not recognize it and I can't access it.

The hard disk led flashes, so it has the power, but does not appear in the devices or Device Manager.
My opinion is that the problem may be with the drivers for USB, but Toshiba is supported for driver for USB 3.0 for Windows 8.1.

Then can someone suggest me what to do?

    Laptop: Satellite L50-B-11J
    USB ports: 1xUSB 2.0 port, 2xUSB 3.0 port
    Operating system: Windows Pro 8.1
USB 3.0 driver: Intel (r) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Control - 0100 (Microsoft)
External hard drive: support USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 standard

Intel USB 3.0 driver is part of the 8.1 Windows System... This is not supplied by Toshiba.

Windows 7 contains no such USB 3.0 driver and so you can download driver Intel USB 3.0 page of the Toshiba driver as well as the Intel download site.

By the way: try to disable the functionality of sleep & Charge and check how the HARD drive would work.

  • Computer suddenly does not recognize the mouse.

Mouse frozen earlier this evening. Tried to reboot the computer, but the mouse icon is stuck on the same position on the screen. I tried two other mice, USB connection or wireless all plugged into several USB ports. USB power lasers on mice, but there is no movement for the icon. Any help would be appreciated.

    Try a PS/2 mouse.

Also, make sure that the other devices (except the mouse) on this port works fine or not?

  • Qosmio G30 does not recognize the SD card

    Hello

Can you help me? My SD card is not recognized when I push it.
Is there a driver I need to download to fix this?

    Post edited by: ADMIN

    Hi Steve

First of all, you should check if your SD card is compatible with the SD G30 s card slot.

Not all SD card sizes are compatible and supported by the SD card reader and this could be the reason why the SD card can not be used Don t know what card you want to use, but the user manual should provide some details on the SD card compatible card formats.

On the other hand, it would be possible that your SD card driver has stopped working. Why? Who knows, but in this case, you need to go to Device Manager and should remove the SD card reader in the list.
Then restart the computer laptop windows operating system would recognize new devices immediately after new reboot and you would be able to trace the river of SD card

After this short procedure try to insert the SD card and check if the card will be recognized.

  • Qosmio F30 - 112 - Windows XP does not recognize the HARD drive

    Hello.

    I have a Qosmio F30-112.
I tried to install the Windows XP Professional instead of the Media Center edition.
However, during the execution of the installer, my laptop does not recognize the hard drive. Therefore, the installation cannot continue.

I thought it might be a problem of corruption with my laptop and reinstalled Media Center Edition successfully.
But when I try to install XP Professional it always gives me the same error.

Suggestions for the configuration of the BIOS or solutions for why this is happening?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    Just a question:
You are looking for in this forum for other similar issues with regard to the installation of Win XP and lack HARD drive? I doubt

The fact is that your notebook has a SATA controller and you need a SATA (Intel Matrix Storage Manager) driver.

You should have a look here in this doc from Toshiba:
[How to integrate a SATA AHCI driver into a Windows XP installation CD | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB85017Z0000R01.htm]

  • Cannot use my printer Officejet 4635 to the Mexico. Printer does not recognize the new cartridge.

I moved my printer in Mexico City, HP Officejet 4635. It uses #61 cartridges. I was told that the 61 in the United States is the same as the #122 to the Mexico. However, the printer say it does not recognize the cartridge.

Can someone give me some advice?

    Hi artist1234,

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

Why the printer does not is because the unit is not regionalized for this part of the country.

To get the printer to work, you will need to contact HP Total Care so that a representative from HP can regionalize the printer for you.

If you call in North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836.  Seeing that you are in Mexico, please click here to access the information page you need.

    Thanks for your time.

  • Pavilion HPE h8 1103nl does not recognize the keyboard & mouse

After 10 days of installation, copy and all that kind of stuff that comes with a new PC, everything worked, and finally, I put everything in place, put the wires out of sight and all. Of course, I had to sign a few things, and somewhere in the process of electricity is out. Well, the PC was off anyway (at least I thought it was. I also changed the USB port to which the keyboard and mouse were attached. When I turned on the computer, I had a "keyboard" error, could not start (because electricity had come off the coast), but as the PC does not recognize the keyboard or the mouse, I was unable to give a or something.

Keyboard and wireless mouse tried again, also under the old, but that didn't work.  Tried to reconnect, but in vain.

    Now what can I do?

    Hi HardBeatZ

    Thans for your answer!

I found the solution, after trying and try... but could not find my ad more (duhhh), so thanks for the answer!

Apparently I did ' t hold the button "connect" quite a long time to make a new connection... :-(

Everything works fine now... Thanks again!

  • Qosmio F30 does not recognize USB devices

My new Qosmio F30 does not recognize USB devices. Displays Device Manager USB ENHANCED CONTROLLER and ROOT HUB works fine, but the machine still wants to install each device but cannot. BIOS version seems to be V1.30. I tried the devices on other machines, and they work fine.
Is there something that I missed?

    Hello

Before your shot the beautiful F30 can you please say what OS you are using?
Did you use the OS from the Toshiba restore CD?
On this CD, all drivers must be preinstalled and you don t need to install no matter what chipsets or anything like that.

  • Windows 7 64 bit does not recognize the USB external drive HARD Stor E art 3.5 "

I buy the art external disk HARD Stor E 3.5 "and spend a few days in windows does not recognize the HARD drive. Try to connect the drive to other USB 2 ports and nothing happens. Use a USB to see if has been a problem with the USB ports, but all 3 are OK. Try it on the laptop Asus and windows 7 recognizes the HARD disk. I formatted the drive in NTFS FS. In managing records do not show the external HARD disk. What can I do to fix this?

My laptop is a Qosmio F60

This is a really silly situation. It can be recognized by other laptops but not your Qosmio.
According to the description of your HARD drive when connected simply doesn t exist for your Qosmio laptop.

Some other HDD is recognized correctly?
What you can try is to reinstall the chipset driver, restart the laptop and test it again.

Since when you have this problem? Some installed updates of the last days?

  • DreamColor LP2480zx does not recognize the USB for calibration

    Hello

I have a DreamColor LP2480zx, which does not recognize the USB connection to the computer during calibration.  I have my eye HP connected through this monitor, so I know the connection and the cable is good and mouse, keyboard.  My setup is like this:

Reference Dell 690 running 64 bit + Windows XP

    DreamColor LP2480zx

    Apple Cinema Display 23 "

I bought the DreamColor used, and in all other respects, it seems to work very well.  The original owner didn't have it calibrated within a certain time, but said that having had no problem with the previous calibration.  I installed the last APS (version 2.0) and updated to the latest firmware.  These updates produces no change in recognition USB problem.

The interesting thing is, I was able to calibrate the Apple Cinema Display, using the same configuration of connection (mouse, keyboard, and HP eye connected to the computer via the LP2480zx) APS was able to see the USB connection and this very well calibrated monitor.

I had trouble with this problem for a few days.  I've looked around quite a bit online and found a few others who have this same problem, but I did not yet find someone who can point out a solution.  If anyone has had this same problem, or has heard of results that correct it, please let me know, because it's very frustrating.

    Thanks for any help

    Clay

An update to my previous post, I realized a work around for this problem.

Apparently, this problem has to do with the Dreamcolor screen and/or software APS do not like working with 64 bit systems.  I'm not saying that it is always the case, but I saw the other posts on this problem on 64-bit systems, and I spoke with two other people personally who told me that they also had the same problem, try to calibrate its Dreamcolor monitor when it was attached to a 64-bit system.  HP does not seem to be concerned about this problem, because they do not even recognize its existence, but since I'm far from being the first to report this problem, he's obviously not a one-time problem.

My solution was this: I had connect the monitor to a regular running XP 32 bit system.  After I did, I could re - calibrate the monitor without the problem of USB connection.  This isn't a very good solution because not everyone has access to several machines, running different operating systems.  But it's a work around, and it worked for me.

Hope this helps other people who have this same problem with their Dreamcolor monitors hooked to their 64-bit systems.

    Clay

PS- I posted this as resolved, only because I was able to calibrate my monitor.  It's not really solved the problem, but it gets the monitor working again.  Maybe HP will address this problem in the future, but I'm not holding my breath.
