  to remove the keyboard, simply remove the long plastic on top of the keyboard cover. Just take a flat blade screwdriver gently push the upper part where the F1 - F12 keys are under the plastic cover and the elevator that plastic cover.

  Why do you want to open your machine? You want to install an additional WIFI card or what? And what do you mean with "watsch" the CPU?

  Some L300 can be equipped with a second HDD. Checks if the second Bay of HARD drive (at the bottom of the unit) contains some connectors. You will see the connector on the HARD drive, then the second HDD if possible.

• Satellite Pro L100 - trying to pass to 2 GB RAM

  I was wondering I could someone help me, I'm tring to upgrade my laptop and hav recently brought two Rams of 1 GB for him because he says he can to 2 GB max. But when I put them both in the laptop does not respond, it turns on and that's all. I tried both by themselves as ports of ram of 1 GB at a time, and both work by themselves.   I just bought a Toshiba Satellite pro L100, which has a built in wireless card, an Atheros AR5005g. I activated the card wireless via the switch on the laptop, and then I let the search for available networks.   I think that you need to check many options that could have a negative influence on the WLan connectivity.
  First of all, you should check if the Wlan router supports WLan standard even as the Wlan card. For example 802.11 B or G or both

  Disable all ciphers on the router as well as the MAC address filtering.
  Then check the WiFi channels! Try to use the same channel on the map of local area network on the router.

  Which driver do you use? Try to download the latest WLan driver Atheros site.

  I currently have a laptop Satellite Pro L100-125, that I've had for a few years now.

  The point is that you could buy a new a lot harder for laptop with the best hardware specifications for about 400-500 euros.
  I don't have no idea how the fix would cost, but if the screen or motherboard would have died then the repair process could be a costly affair because the display and motherboards are more expensive laptop parts

• Satellite Pro L10 battery did not reach full charge

  On my Satellite Pro L10 battery only reaches 85% charge if leave all night. Is this likely to be a problem with the supply power, circuits inside the computer or charge the battery?

  I need to know the best place to start to spend money!

  Some experience that may or may not apply to:
  -Battery system is around 2.5 years
  -The battery lasts about 1 to 1.5 hrs that seems fair considering his age and his level of violence (left connected permanently and not recycled periodically)

  HM, sounds to me like a hardware problem. But the problem is to understand where exactly the error, if you have the following options:

  * Contact a service partner chartered for a hardwarecheckup and an accurate diagnosis of your machine ([http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/generic_content.jsp?service=EU&ID=ASP_SUPPORT])
  * You can buy a new battery (since it could be the battery, I guess)
  * You can sell this machine on ebay and buy a new one :)

  Hope I could give you some new and fresh ideas. There is almost no other options or solutions, the it s so your choice.

  Well, here you have it: I dropped to the bottom of my laptop on the floor cement, some three weeks after buying, but it still works! (It's a Satellite Pro L100 132) With technicians, we ordered the necessary parts: plastic covers around the screen and the keyboard.

  But maybe you re a lucky guy and nothing was serious damage.
  If the screen is working properly and that you are able to boot the operating system so I guess also the HARD drive was not damage and it works fine.

  I would recommend to open Notepad or remove something if you have no experience. I think that technicians should check your laptop. But if everything works fine, so I think that there is no need to s.

  On the first day, I had problems with plastics in the screen and the "lid" two cracks they been replaced twice.

  I know as L100 model number but they keep asking for a number three-digit and I have no idea where to find it.

• Satellite Pro L100 crashes

  Hi, I have a two years, Satellite Pro L100. So far it has worked pretty well, although there are about 6 weeks it started automatically stop when I was in the middle of using it. At first I thought it was a heating problem, so I was sure to keep it on a hard flat surface and have a fan where I still work. I also thought that it may be a problem with the dvd drive, so I stopped using that and did a system restore a few weeks ago.

  Lately but it became more and more common - stop 7 times today, sometimes after only for about 10-15 minutes. I'm still clueless as to what is the problem - I run virus checks and there is no problem. Does anyone have any advice as to what I should do?

  I am writing my thesis to the University, which is due soon and find this problem (and the additional stress!) not useful!

  Would it perhaps be a design defect (I got only two years). Someone else has reported similar problems?

  Looks like the cooling system could be full of dust.

  If the machine is still under warranty I recommend strongly to send the machine to a service partner chartered for a checkup of material.
  If this isn't the case, then proceed as follows:

  Buy a box with compressed air and blow a few some hollow air ventilation holes but be gentle when blowing. The fan may be damaged when breath too long, so I suggest to call 2-3 seconds, wait a second and then repeat the procedure until the dust has been completely removed. • Satellite Pro L100 does not work after BIOS update

  Okay, the computer is a Toshiba Satellite Pro L100 PSLA4. Problem occurred during an update of the BIOS on the official website of Toshiba. I downloaded the zip file, it extracts and activated the .exe file at the Interior.

I know that I need to replace the lid and the affair around the screen, but I need to replace the hinges as well?

  I also suggest exchanging the hinges, too, because the material probably weakly started and I think that if you simply exchange the cover and the case, you will have the same problem after a while.

  As you can see you do research in the Archives to find the driver because your laptop is older model but the driver update always available :)
