  I recently bought a HP a6554f computer.  Here's the specs: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 / 2.4 GHz 64-bit processor, 5 GB DDR2 SDRAM and I put in a GeForce 8500 gt when buying with a 550w PSU. I'm running on Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

  For several weeks it worked fine until one day I got my first blue screen.  After all initially that I would get one here and there, but I don't mind really until they began to become one every day, sometimes several times a thing of the day.  After a while, he was several times a day, so I started running memory tests that showed no problem, updated my drivers, attached to the top of my registry, updated my BIOS and done everything I could find on the internet.  I decided to restore the settings by default, and as soon as the operating system reinstalled, I got another blue screen.  I constantly closing the different host process and the windows update does not work.  Everytime I try to update downloads updates again and gets stuck their installation.  My next step is installing a copy of Vista Ultimate to see if a clean, new operating system will work.

  Any ideas on whether changing the operating system works, or if there is nothing else I could possibly do to solve these problems?

  Certainly a bad memory. You should test each of them separately. Time to call HP and have them send more or send in for repair.

  I have a Sony XAV-701HD installed in my 09 Ram. I have had for a while now and still have problems even after the last update of the firmware. Since I installed the radio, the stations would change when I turn off the key and then restart the truck. Ususally a station off where I was listening. Then I noticed that when you listen to a CD, if I stop the truck, stop, and restart, I have sometimes no sound from the CD unit that change source to something else then back to CD. In addition, it seems to take an eternity for the CD start playing when I insert one, or when I start the truck every morning. Sometimes the CD start just up, other times not. Now, I've added SiurisXM to the unit, and I noticed that when I turn the key off the coast, and then back on, the device will not be playing Sirius Music until I have changing source, let the next launch of source for play, then switch back to sirius. I'm a professional installer, I know all my wiring is good, everything works. My Kenwood has worked perfectly in the same truck for 2 years before I changed to the Sony. Any ideas?

  The process of database have a file handle for the data file - this remains even when the file is deleted (it disappears from the normal file system navigation)

  You can see if you have lsof installed

  just try

  lsof | grep datafile_name

  Once the database is restarted and the released file handle so you will not be able to do this any more - and in fact you will get errors when it can't find the file.

  I have printer HP Deskjet 2050 J510 which gives me an error message "scanner communication cannot be established. I had visited the HP support portal & downloaded HP print & scan doctor. After you run this tool, it is said that it cannot solve the problem. It detects the first two steps of pilot (or can be) Manager & pilot agreed.   Follow the steps below to update the software to the latest version.

  First step: clear temp directory

  1. tap folder in the race or search programs and files of field

  2 Select all the files in this folder, and then press the delete key to remove. If you receive a message that the file is in use, you will need to ignore this file (s).

  3. proceed to step 2 below

  Second step: downloaded and extracted to your system:

  1 download the drivers and full software features

  2. once the download is complete, double-click the file to extract the software.

  7. close this window and all open windows, and then in the Middle the desktop right click your mouse and select Paste. This will move the 7z folder on your desktop.

  9 open the Util folder

  10 open the CCC folder

  11 start the uninstall_L4

  12. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

  13. run disk cleanup from the tools Accessories\ system under all programs folder

  Windows XP Service Pack 2

  Recently performed a HD format and new installation of XP SP2. After I installed all the drivers and others, I checked that the system was operating normally. After a few days of use, Windows Update downloaded Service Pack 3 and asked me to install. I started to install SP3, but at about 50%, the laptop battery is dead at Midway through the installation. I plugged the laptop on the power source and power. I restarted the laptop and XP started only a completely black screen and the white slider. No ALT + CTRL + DEL, desktop icons, etc.

  I rebooted the laptop of ERD Commander, ran the restore system and selected the first available Restore Point. Point of restoration chosen was recorded a few days before, and was the first recorded point after the clean installed XP. I rebooted the XP system. Wallpaper loaded with white cursor, but NO start menu or desktop icon. A message appears saying "Explorer.EXE Application error, press OK to exit the application" or something very similar.   Explorer.EXE error after the Restore Point of ERD Commander. Dell Inspiron B130. Recently clean installed XP SP2 on laptop. Installation of SP3, to 50%, battery dies the laptop right in the middle of the installation of the SP3 update. Restarted, XP starts with black screen with cursor only. ERD restart order and restore XP to the last known good config (I choose point immediately after XP clean install). Reboot to XP. Now the wallpaper shows as well as the error message saying "Explorer.exe Application error, click OK to exit Explorer" dialog and then I can't access anything. Any ideas?

  Step 1: Check if you are able to boot into safe mode without any problem. If you are able to boot into safe mode without any problems then try to perform the clean boot to safe mode. Also disconnect any external devices connected to the computer.
