    Hello

I recently bought a HP designjet 130nr used large format, and I noticed that the lights on the Auto Roll power media does not illuminate after I turn on the printer.

    Can someone please?

The tracer feeds on?  If that's the case then you may have a problem with the drive roller.  If you remove the roll and look down inside you'll see there's a torx screw that mounts to the part of the feed roller who has the power connector.  If you remove the screws (there may be two) and then remove the part you will see there are about 3 or 4 contacts mating when the part is being challenged.  Make sure that none of these contacts are irrelevant.  If the unit power ot on, then remove the parallel cable and the cable to the socket on the printer and plug the unit directly into the outlet. The unit now power on.  Keep in mind with this model when you plug in the cable that the light will Flash several times in front of the screen and the time of glass can turns on but then turns off.  When it fires on the front power button is pressed to turn on the machine.  If the light on the front does not blink a few times you may have a power supply problem.

  • Designjet 130NR problems

    Hello

We have problems with the HP Design Jet 130NR. The week last during a draw of the tracer has stopped working and was infallibly beep, the cause of which I think had fallen to a failure not authentic black print cartridge. We replaced the cartridge with a genuine HP cartridge and acknowledges our yellow/magenta/light magenta show as empty - these appear as "unknown" on the State of maintenance of the system.

So, I received a copy of the service manual and stripped down to the right side of the printer and there were few black ink that had filtered through the absorbent foam under the ink supply system. I used contact cleaner to clean all the contacts of the cartridge, but in vain. I tried to do the reset/reboot it is indicated in the maintenance manual, but he continually fails to recognize the cartridges.

All tracer cartridges are at least 50% of the full and geniune all HP.

Because 3 of the 6 cartridges are no recognized I assume that damage to the ink ink supply system will be the cause? So could I assume that the replacement that should solve the problem? or should there be something else I should be looking?

Here is a copy of the journal system maintaince (masked ip etc. for intimacy), if this highlights all possible failures:

For the future refernce anyones solve this problem:

Replaced ink feeding Station - short circuit - that also killed the chips on 2 cartridges so had to replace those too. System (found on google) maintenance manual explains how to strip tracer apart.

  • Designjet 130nr will not load any paper format any source

    Hi all

I was running out of A1 posters and suddenly my printer wouldn't before hand feeding. I tried the paper infeed roller also bit it doesn't work.

The printer comes essentially upward with the paper with an X if it and the icon of thumb on the display panel.

It's as if he can't 'see' the paper.

I cleaned in and around the printer, look for paper jams and ensured that I used the papers good condition.

One thing I noticed, is that when it takes a roll of paper, it not there no "scan" light more. IIRC, there was before. Also the roll paper feeds out through the printer.

Etc drivers seem well as he worked all day and no change in software

    Any help appreciated more

    Hello Alan.

I'll assume a couple of things, please correct me if I'm wrong.

-What feeding roll paper is detected by the printer and it feeds the paper to print the milling table.

-transport of good position turns off and moves on paper.  Then paper jam icon appeared.

This also occurs in feeding tray/feeder manual.

I saw your other post and yes it can be the black plastic that is bound if the above is correct. There is a lens cap with a small hook under the carriage and the hook connects to the plastic piece to open the lid. With the lid open the sensor line can see the edges of the paper. It might be that your printer has problem with this lens cover opening.

Solution: If you take the trolley to the left, you can see the hook on the right side, I think. You can leave the lid as it goes and then carefully detach the cover. The printer should work fine without it.

  • Designjet 110plus mac OS 10.9.3

I can't get my 110plus print Mac OS 10.9.3. The window defaults to USE 'Generic PCL Printer'.

In the configuration of the printer, I don't see a driver for 110plus nr, but I do not see "hp designjet 130nr. If I set up a printer that is named "HP designjet 110plus (C7796D)" and choose to USE 130nr then, so far, the printer looks like printing normally. Is this a good solution or there at - it problems on the road?

HP will be issueing a update driver 110plus 10.9.3 and same 10.10 Yosemite over time?

    Thank you

    Hello

The last driver that was released for mac was for OS 10.8.

I don't think that there will be an update of the driver.

What you can do is download the driver Package Apple on your mac and install the printer in the same way that you do.

The use of the driver for the 130 is a good workaround, you shouldn't have any problems with it

You can still use the old drivers on the new os.

    Best regards

  • 130NR HPDesignjet print is no longer the PDF correctly

For some reason my printer large format Designjet 130nr no longers does print a PDF file correctly in Acrobat.  I am trying to print a 24 "x 36", architectural drawing (Arch D) PDF, but not matter how many different combinations of the page set up and print settings window that I use, it only prints what would be on a 8 1/2 "x 11". "   "" It does not fit the drawing down to a 8 1/2 "x 11", print only what would be in an 8 1/2 "x 11" window on the sheet.  I'm on a mac running snow leopard 10.6.7, don't know if this changes anything.  Thanks in advance!

All Adobe Reader software, even in libraries, and then reinstall Adobe Reader X.

An alternative is to use only an excerpt.

  • HP Designjet EDP cannot be loaded in PS CS5 (cannot choose the paper type)

In Photoshop CS4, we used to be able to use HP PDE to choose among other things, the types of paper.  In Photoshop CS5, we get the error:

"The bundle"hp_designjet_pde"could not be loaded because it does not contain a version for the current architecture.  Contact the author of the package listed here for the most recent version.  HP designjet PDE v4.1.0.

BDP works fine in Illustrator and other applications, CS5, Photoshop just not.

This forum works Design Premium CS5 on OS X Snow Leopard with a HP DesignJet 130nr.

No idea why this is happening or how to get Photoshop CS5 to recognize the HP drivers?

    Thank you!

Because you are in Photoshop in 64-bit, and the printer driver is not code for 64-bit (the current architecture).

You can run Photoshop in 32 bits, or contact HP and see if they have updated drivers.

  • DesignJet 130: what should look like a NEW Assembly of ink for DesignJet 130 tube to

I ordered a new Assembly of tube of ink for DesignJet 130 from an online source. The item is marked refurbished. Frankly, it seems not yet to have been refurbushied but just pulled an old printer (but that didn't matter that I was expecting again), but it did lead me to ask a slightly silly question.

The tubes in a new assembly have preloaded ink in them? I guess not, but when I locate a set of 'new' I don't want to jump to a false conclusion so filled beforehand with ink. I guess they must be clean, dry, seems to have never been filled, and not overflow but I thought I would check.

I'll get my money back and try again. I guess there are some spare parts new surplus stock for this printer floating around. I was wrong in my assumption?

    Concerning

New tubes of ink are empty, I installed came with setup printheads.

  • Designjet T2300: Error 59.3 Designjet T2300

    Hello.

I wonder to watch an error Designjet T2300 8.01.

Someone in front of me like a tried to solve the problem by replacing format it and the hard disk, which are both recycle parts.

For this reason, he created an error 59.3 & 8.04 (tracer require new original pieces of work).

The control panel were also replaced.

So after some tests it looks like no drive must be replaced.

Do I have to replace the trainer so if I replace the hard drive?

    Thank you.

I got the number of part of a confidential document from HP, you may have to contact HP service provider to buy the parts.

You can also try the computers in Minnesota, they are fairly well informed and have many DesignJet parts in stock.

  • DesignJet T770: DesignJet T770 will not print in color

After you move a DesignJet T770 44 inch queue from a Windows 2003 server to a Server Windows 2012 R2 the T770 will not print in color.

The general tab on the properties T770 printer States ' color: No. '.  Yet once on the printer properties on the tab color color management is set to "Automatic (recommended)".

The T770 printer driver has been downloaded from Windows Update I was unable to get a T770 driver from the HP website.

The T770 product no is CH539A / CN375A. Strangely, none of these product numbers have been recognized by the search for product number for th HP Web site.

My question is how do the T770 to print color again?

    Any help would be appreciated.

I would say that you definitely have a driver problem if you has not changed the settings in the built-in web server printer at the time wherever you spent since Windows Server to the other server in Windows.

I check all the settings on each tab in the driver to see if it is possible that somewhere in there color is disabled.

I also go back to HP.com and look for driver for that machine again.

I am also looking for a print utility for this machine, which should not be confused with a printer utility, even if they might be named roughly the same.

I recall there are two utilities is to monitor the status of your printer, and the other is to print and work around the driver.

When you have found the right print utility you save your print format JPEG or PDF file and then open it in the print utility and send it to the printer without ever open drivers.

Another experiment, you can try it if you have a practical PDF just open a web browser and access the built-in web server printer and then try to print the PDF file directly by using the option for printing on the web server.

The purpose of some of these things is number one determine if the printer has developed a problem that it prevents printing color and print JPEG or PDF from the built-in Web server where all you do is send the file directly to the printer would let you know that the printer is always able to color.

So if you can get the print work utility where you can open the PDF on a PC and then send it to the printer you have to least a workaround while you solve the driver problem.
