• custom action builds without error

  All,

  I am trying to create a custom action where it administers all events/alarms to another server for processing.  First, create a rule that implements the custom action, where the action is supposed to be triggered on every event/alarm.  The custom action will then take the event and move on to another server via a raw socket and made a simple handshake with sha1 base 64.  I welcomed for groovy and java during the construction of the custom action and it builds just fine without error.  However, when I install cartridge and turn on the rule, the server receives nothing and I do not see the log entries.

  Build.XML I had to ad a taskdef to groovyc and add a different path to the jar file.  I enclose my Ant and source files.  Any help to find where I'm wrong well would be apprieciated.  I think that the problem is around the keyword implents and how I created that, but I'm not sure.

  There is a rule of Foglight making snmp with impatience that sends snmp traps to another http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/performance-monitoring/foglight-administrators/w/admins-wiki/5567.event-driven-rules-snmp-forwardserver.  I don't know how your rule is constructed, but the simplest can be copy that snmp before rule, rename it simply to put your action and see if it works. At least the starting point will be a tested rule that works in several sites.

• Drag and drop custom actions - 8 Captivate

  Good afternoon!

  I created a drag drop in 8 Captivate that has 2 targets and 4 drag sources.  3 of the sources go to 1 goal and 1 source to another.  What I try to do is:

  1. when the first source fell next on the list will appear and so on for the 4 options.

  2. when the user clicks on the button send a "Congratulations" message appears.

  3 when the wrong answer is removed, the source snaps back into the list.

  I have tried so many different configurations... any help is very appreciated.

  At wanted to check a second time, I have therefore created a short with project

  • four containers of text as drag sources: S_one, S_two, S_three, S_four
  • two targets Target1 and Target2
  • S_one and the fall of two targets are visible output
  • S_two, S_three and S_four are invisible in output
  • in my configuration, what do drag the first three sources were to return to Target1 and Target1 S_four; your installation may be different, but you set the drag source sequence, so you know perfectly well that one should apply to that target
  • set up the D & D according to the usual procedure
  • Destination1 and click 'Actions of the object' of the D & D Panel format tab. Because I'm in the CP9 who has the opportunity to uncheck 'Project to continue playing' for a single action, I could use them. Look at this screenshot:
    I unchecked all accept and indicated the correct three, drag sources, changed the number 3, because they will have to be accepted all of them on the first target. Sources of bad drag will be 'Go back' to its original position.
    After dragging S_One action was changed to show S_Two (second drag source). You must change this simple action for a standard action "Execute advanced Action" with the same unique command "S_two Show" to avoid releasing the read head. If you're familiar with this, I would use a shared action. Similar editing for the other two sources of drag, just change S_Two of S_Three to the second action and S_four for the third action.
  • Select Target2, again press the object actions, uncheck the box "accept all the ' and indicate good drag source, this time count is 1. In my setup you don't have to choose the action, because it's the last drag source. However if the drag source is not S_four for this target, you must put in a similar action, as I explained to Target1 and take action on the last drag source that will then be in the Target1 dialog box.

  As for the Message should appear, I have explained in the blog post (a first) how to create a success Message. BTW this success message is now available out of the box to the CP9.

  Music and sounds are coming in my treble speakers too much and too fast. Looks like Alvin and the chipmunks. It happens on all sounds from a CD or the Internet. All diagnostics check out OK. It's Windows XP. Any ideas how to adjust the sound quality?

  Don't worry, little domestic rodents in Windows Media Player is not configured. Instead, the clock of your soundcard probably has a timing problem. To resolve this issue, try to reduce the level of hardware acceleration for your sound card by following these steps:

  1.	In Control Panel, open sounds and Audio devices.
  2.	In the Volume , in the settings area of the speaker tab, click the Advanced button.
  3.	In the Advanced Audio properties dialog box, click the performance tab and adjust the hardware acceleration slider to adjust the calendar clock for your sound card.

  Remember that, if your sound card supports multi-channel (5.1) audio playback, turn off hardware acceleration (moving the cursor of None) will cause the sound card to play all the audio multichannel stereo (two speakers).

  If you can't solve the problem by adjusting hardware acceleration, you can check with the computer manufacturer for an updated audio driver.

  Another possibility is that it could be a joke any.  You can perform a clean boot that will start the computer without programs 3rd party.  The steps are below:

  1. Click Startand then click run.
  2. Type msconfig in the Open box, and then click OK.
  3. On the general tab, click Selective startup.
  4. Under Selective startup, clear the following check boxes:
     • SYSTEM process. INI file
     • Process of VICTORY. INI file
     • Load Startup items
  5. Click the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click disable all.
  6. Click OK.
  7. When you are prompted, click restart.
  8. After the computer starts, start the program or game and see if the problem is resolved.

  If the problem is resolved, you can check in Add/Remove programs to see if there are any suspicious software that needs to be removed.  You can also check your startup programs in MSCONFIG.  To access msconfig, click on 'Start' > select "Run" > Type msconfig in the box and click on enter.  You will see the Startup tab, you can check all suspicious programs start at startup and remove them.

  I have windows vista Home premium installed on a HP Pavilion laptop dv6-1030us entertainmeny. I am trying to install a mobile usb broadband telstra for internet connection on my lap top. the installation process starts, but is abandoned with a message ' could not access Vbscript run time custom action. I looked upward for solution of line and followed who asked to change the registry for vbscript.dll. I followed the instructions but the problem has not been resolved. The next set of instructions was to permanently remove some keys: current user/software/class/CLISD which I tried, but ended with an error.

  I'm having a problem uninstall a program. I'm getting repeatedly blocked in error: "could not access VBScript Runtime for custom action.  That means this error in uninstall a program? Would appreciate a fix for this. The program is called Soluto.  Thank you.

  As well as their registration as an administrator, you may need to remove the entries for them in HKEY_CURRENT_USER.

  I suggest you follow the method below and check if it helps.

  This error message indicates that the VBScript engine is not currently registered on the machine where the installation/uninstallation.

  You can try the following steps if you have not tried these steps in high mode.

  The VBScript engine may be quickly entered as follows:

  1. run as administrator command prompt

  (a) go to Start Menu

  (b) under all programs, go to Accessories.

  (c) right-click on command prompt and select run as administrator

  2. If you use the 32-bit version of Windows:

  Type cd %windir%\system32 in the command prompt and press ENTER.

  If you are using the 64 bit version of Windows:

  Type cd %windir%\syswow64 . in the command prompt and press ENTER.

  3. type regsvr32 vbscript.dll in the command prompt and press ENTER.

  4. type regsvr32 jscript.dll in the command prompt and press ENTER.

  5 restart your computer and check.

• Custom notifications and ringtones not available more

  I can't take when this happened, but it was last week, but custom notification and the ringtone that I put restore the default values, and the phone is no longer see them in the list.

  Initially they sounds (mp3 and wav) were in directories in the main repository, Notifications and Ringtones I moved the in the subdirectory of a music that I found online, but I still don't see them in the list.

  The only thing I've done recently is updated the built in "Themes" app.

  Someone at - it else discovered this and been able to solve the problem?

  Actually, it's funny you mention it as a reboot seemed to have worked without even seeking the .nomedia file.

  I restarted the phone between the messages and the selection is now available.

  Bug somewhere, I guess.

  Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

   

   

  Restore point:

  Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

  Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

  If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  I am trying to download the software Sky Player and get an error message saying "error 2738. Could not access VBScript Runtime for custom action'.  I have contacted sky and went through the procedure, they have recommended, but nothing helped.  Can anyone help please.
