RE2000 - no possible connection after failure

Hello

I recently bought the RE2000, and it worked very well. Last Friday, I had a power outage and the RE2000 stops working. I tried of reconfigur, but the software does not recognize the RE2000 more. I also tried to connect manually, by adjusting the system ip and connect to 192.168.1.1, no effect there. Not even a ping response

The light continues to blink on and he seems to respond to a reset, but no reconnection is possible.

I'm looking at a broken here unit?

Hi stabelizer.

I think that it is already defective. Replacement at the store, it is a possible bug.

    I lost the internet connection after acceptance of your latest updates. How can I cancel the updates?

    Debbie

    How do you know that the loss of your internet connection has nothing to do with the Windows updates? You must find the reason for the loss of the connection.

    How do you connect? Is a wired or wireless with a modem or a router? If a router is the router shared with another computer and this computer can connect to the internet? You need to determine if the problem is a fault on your computer or a failure to connect to your internet access provider?

  • 4/2 (B) IOM right AFTER failure

    Connection just finished our 4th chassis and it shows the following error message: "IOM 4/2 (B) right AFTER failure.

    A screenshot of what I see in the UCS Manager under chassis 4 fouls and POST results on the general tab for chassis 4 is attached.

    Any ideas on how to fix?  Or has anyone seen this before?

    Drew,

    If it is not yet the production, you can try to reset the IOM and force him to RE-POST.  UCSM, select the IOM in question and click "Reset".  It will take about 6-7mins to deal with.  Alternatively, you can remove physically IOM, wait 10 seconds and then reinsert it.  This will also force a POST kickoff again.

    If the IOM does still not MESSAGE, then collect the following output and evoke a TAC case as suggested.

    For UCSM 1.4 or later:

    1. go to the Admin tab, select the top level of the navigation tree and select 'all '.

    "2. on the right side, you should see a link to"Create and download Tech support"information."

    3. Select the local path to save the output file

    4 Select "Châssis" and enter the chassis ID #.

    5. Select "IOM" below and let 'All' selected.

    For UCSM 1.3 or earlier:

    1. SSH to virtual IP of UCSM, connect with Admin credentials.

    2 issue 'local connection '.

    3 issue "present chassis technical support details X", where X = the chassis # for this MANUAL.

    Gathering this forward and by attaching it to your TAC case when you open with a good description of the issue will accelerate the resolution.

    Kind regards

  • Photosmart HP 7520: All wireless network devices will lose connectivity after printing

    Dear all,

        I have a problem with my HP Photosmart 7520 printer where all wireless network devices will lose connectivity after a printer has been sent to the printer.

    * Summary
    Wireless network unusable after sending one print to HP printer
    No device ( computers nor smartphones ) can use the Internet nor access internal networks ( 192.168.0/24)

    * Details
    Turn HP printer on. ( wireless direct is off - never turned on )
    HP printer connects to working wireless network.
    Other devices ( phone/computers ) already connected and working.
    From any device, send a document to the printer.
    Printer prints document successfully.
    Immediately after printer has printed all devices cannot access internet IP range ( including HP printer ) nor Internet nor router ( 198.168.0.1 ).

    * Reproducibility
    Always

    * Work around
    Disconnect all devices from the network.
    Power off printer.
    Reboot Internet router.

    * Attempted solutions
    Removed wireless configuration.
    Factory reset.
    Added wireless configuration back.
    Powered on and off printer.

    * Printing tested with
    Tested with Macbook10.11/Windows 8/Ubuntu 12/Android 4.4.2

    * Not tested
    Ethernet cable directly connected to router.

    * Internet Router
    Netgear CG 3700

    Number of brand and model of the router?

    These settings are to set up your printer wireless (or wired):

    • Stay connected to your router
    • Trouble printer status 'offline '.
    • Wake mode 'sleep'
    • All wireless devices stay better connected

    While the DHCP is convenient, devices like printers (wired and wireless) should always be assigned a (fixed) IP address manually to avoid conflicts on your wireless network and must be outside the range of the router DHCP.  After the adjustment of the static IP address the computer must be updated to show a Standard TCP/IP port with the IP address of printers under printer properties/Ports.

    1. Set a static in the printer IP address (click here) outside the range of the DHCP of the router (check your manual). It is for Linksys routers, but can be used for all routers. Check your DHCP range and change this first if necessary. More Help Wireless Printing is here and here and still more here.  Video here explains the problem and how to solve the problem. <--> So watch this!
    2. Or check in the printer "Auto Off/sleep/Energy Saving Mode" is disabled the System Mode Time Out is set to zero (0) Use the built-in webserver (EWS) by visiting the printer address IP address in the address bar of your browser, click on settings tab/Auto Off. Or use the printer, printer Home Page (EWS) Wizard. Also check your printer properties.
    3. If the printer supports and has IPv6 enabled, disable the IPv6 option in the printer.
    4. Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a socket wall and not to a UPS, power strip or a lightning arrestor. This will cause the printer to drop offline connection and disconnection (checked yes!).

    Additional measures to take if you continue to have the problem (if they are posted)...
