Help, please! I tried to pull my table of media 12 to and replaced by a white 500 GB drive so the data is safe. I tried to do a reinstall of the OS and a factory defect. No success with either however, by reading the forums it seems that the CAE is damaged and I need to contact support. However since the unit is out of warranty do not know how they are going to charge me to fix it, so I'm turning the Community aid.

Can you access the boot menu and set your NAS to support tech mode? You should then see a number to 5 digits on the LCD and RAIDar. Please send me a PM with this 5-digit number and I'll take a look to see if I might be able to help.

    Hi, I just came across a serious problem, and I hope someone can help me.

    Currently my Readynas Pro 6 does not see no matter what volume the 6 X-Raid Array disk more.

    I walked past my NAS one a few hours ago and saw the display flashing with the message that the volume has been degraded. A little strange as I had not had any warning about the deterioration of the disc before. I have identified the disc (#2) and replaced by a spare part that I had prepared for such occasions. Two drives at the same time? I don't have another spare drive, so I thought of making a scrub to see if that would make a difference. The scrub my NAS on the timer go out. When I restarted it, it had lost its range X-Raid.

    Anyone have any idea if I can solve this? The pro6 nas Works 6.2.4, the admin interface works fine, I have access to log files.

    The ReadyNAS Pro 6 is running OS 6.4.1. It has 6 x 4TB Seagate disks and runs since sept 2013 OS6.

    1.5 weeks ago about the NAS got does not. The screen was black and did not respond to the power button. Also, there not respod on SMB, HTTPS or SSH application.

    My MacBook Pro that I bought in early 2015, has recently started abnormally warm under normal workload.

    We use LANDesk Management following the image of our machines when they arrive.  We have just received a new shipment of 6300 Pro and we are unable to get them PXE had.  I'm unfortunately not on the site with workstations.  We get a server timeout of response time when network boot. Technicians are invited to select IPv4 or IPv6.  After selecting the IPv4, it displays:

    On IPv4 PXE boot

    Then the computer starts Windows 8 Image of HP.   We have not had this problem with any other Pro 6300 in our environment.  What needs to be changed in the configuration of the BIOS for it to perform a PXE boot correctly again.

    could you describe the difference between the original USB cable and the USB extension cable?

    The laptop and the printer works correctly with the original USB cable, but it seems that the extension USB cable is an inexpensive which does not fulfill the technical specifications and the laptop has a problem with this issue.

    To solve the problem in my opinion you could do an update of the BIOS, look if for your printer is a new driver available and reinstall the USB drivers.

    Also, you could test whether USB, the same problem occurs with other cables.

  • Satellite Pro M10 - network problem

    I have a M10 Pro Satellite bought used a few days ago and formatted, reinstalled windows (XP Pro, got a firewall on it, then my internet connection (Tiscali) and then went on the Toshiba site to download the drivers that I don't have the CD with the machine.

    My problem is that it is showing "Network cable unplugged" even when I plug a RJ45 cable to connect to my corporate network. On Toshiba download page has only an Intel utility to uninstall, it is show a network card in Device Manager, even if I don't have a network controller and Ethernet Controller unknown flag.     -go to the Device Manager and remove and uninstall the modem driver
    -Download the latest modem driver
    -restart the OS and reinstall the modem

  • Satellite Pro C850 - strange problem with LAN connection

    I just signed up on this forum because I hope you guys can help me with a really strange problem.

    I recently bought a Satellite Pro C850-1MX
    It came with Win8, but given that I don't really like Win8, I bought an additional Windows 7 Pro (64 bit) license and installed on the laptop.

    The problem I describe, also arrived on 8 to win, which makes it even more strange.

    As soon as I connect a cable to the RJ-45 port, Windows tells me, that the LAN connection is not connected.
    As soon as I unplug the cable, Windows starts looking for a network and actually found one!

    Now... If I disconnect the cable once again, Windows still shows its connected.

    I must say, that I am a Director of professional network for more than 10 years now, so I should know my systems, but this never happened to me before. Event log shows nothing, re-installing drivers did nothing either. IM quite confused here and I hope you guys can help me.

    I would try to start talking about the drivers installed, since you changed the system for Win 7.
    All the network devices, such as card WLan and LAN card are properly recognized in Device Manager?

    As I m not wrong not the laptop was equipped with a network card Realtek-8111F (1000BASE-T/100Base-TX/10Base-T) and WLan RTL8723AE Realtek b/g/n card.
    If both should appear in the device properly Manager if you have installed the drivers correctly.

  • iPad 9.7 Pro WiFi connection problems - 5 GHz

    My brand new iPad 9.7 Pro is having major issues remaining connected to my home WiFi 5 GHz channels. The connection drops approximately every 30 seconds and I have to manually add the network in.     General suggestions for Wi - Fi problems, maybe one of them will help you...

    (1) perform a forced reboot: hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Leave the device to reboot.

    (2) resetting the network settings: settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Join the network again.

    (3) change of Google DNS: settings > Wi - Fi > click the network, delete all the numbers under DNS and enter 8.8.8.8 or otherwise 8.8.4.4

    (4) turn off the QoS service on the router if available.

    (5) reboot router/Modem: unplug power for 2 minutes and reconnect. Update the Firmware on the router (check manufacturer support Web site). Check that your router is certified Wi - Fi.

    (6) determine if other wireless network devices work well (other iOS devices, Mac, PC).

    (7) try the device on another network, i.e., neighbors, the public coffee house, etc.

    (8) to restore the device (ask for more details if you wish).
