  I received a phone call from microsoft technology who wanted to go on my computer & difficulty a Trojan horse, which is on my computers (more than one computer in my house). If I don't get this fixed right away, I could lose my computers & will not work to full capascity as before the Trojan horse was built-in on my computers in the last 10 days. I was very leary about it wanted to check into that first. He said he could remember at an agreed time. So I set up to 22/05/12 at 4:30 pm p.t.. Is it a scam? This should be an international alert to all users of mircosoft for msn & email clients. They would come by phone now. SO WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? !!!

  I had problems with my computer and found that my system was attacked.  However my Norton security blocked.  I logged the Microsoft Support page to perform various diagnostic tools to see if there was a problem with my software.  The next minute, I received a phone call from a hoax call center claiming they were Microsoft, which I knew was not the case.  What is interesting is that the appellant pretends to be a... automated phone call which it wasn't when I talked back.  Especially when I asked "are you an automated service?  I then realized actually, I was talking to a person.  In the background, I could hear other people who speak with a tone of voice "computing."  Crook change their methods of attack to access personal data?  Everyone should be aware of the tact, that these people are adopting?

  Yes, there is a scam going around, never give your computer access to anyone... Never open a Web page, they may ask you to open. You can indicate that you do not use microsoft windows and hang up.

  It's a scam.

  We have all the errors and warnings in our Event Viewer, which is another ploy they use to scare you

  Either these so-called "Microsoft" Tech companies want to sell you a worthless software, or remote access to your computer to try to steal your credit card and bank information and also achieve an identity theft on you.

  You are the only person who knows if you gave them remote access.

  If you gave them remote access and you do Internet banking, contact your bank, to explain, and change passwords.

  If you use your online credit card, cancel and get a new one issued to you.

  And the only way that willl you know that you are free to them is to backup your data and do a clean install of your operating system.

  Without doubt, I went through all the threads it are on the theme of the volume icon, but have not found anything that fits my 'problem '. I have an iPhone SE and sometimes when I make or receive a phone call the grey volume icon appears on the screen. I attributed it to the apps from third-party such as IMDB or Facebook but tried various scenarios and honestly can't pin it down to a specific. Someone at - it a similar problem? To be honest, it's quite annoying to see the gray icon volume pop up like this out of nowhere. I should add that all is well in terms of volume and the volume keys. No clue as to what causes this problem?

  How do you know that all is well with the volume keys? They can work properly (increase or decrease in volume when you press on), but there might be a problem with the hardware with them or the mute button.

  Make an appointment on the Apple store and bring the phone to be checked.

  As far as I know that the MobiLink was preinstalled on some units Portege M400.
  This software supports these features:

  As you can see that you can not use this software to make calls!

• I also received a phone call from an Indian man who claims to make Windows and I have a Virus

  I also received a phone call from an Indian man who said I had a virus, I did not open anything but try to connect but could not it says something like unable to connect that someonelse is connected, I tried to log on my girls password and the same thing happened there. When I closed the computer and re entered my password allowed me right there. My question is I did not open anything when he was on the phone I just connected, he was hacking my computer or was pure coincidence. I don't do banking over the internet, but I paid for a few things on the line and I'm afraid that he can get any substance persional. Help, please! Thank you

  Only way he could access your computer is if you gave him the passwords, or enables a remote access connection by... you should have to install Teamviewer, Logmein or other legitimate applications and then give the code to access it.

When I refused to sign for their services without any evidence of service ensure the cooperative who identified himself as "norman" be made a 'mac' froze my system laughed and told me to ' f * ck off "before slamming down the phone! everyone is aware of this Organization of stuffing and what I now have to sue in the courts to destroy my computer system? I asked Microsoft if they are willing to take responsibility for their actions of authorized dealers and am still waiting for their answer?

  It is a scam, there are several ongoing. Microsoft has nothing to do with it, and they aren't MS authorized resellers. If you let them take control of your computer remotely, you should be ashamed of yourself.
