I have therefore two monitors EliteDisplay E231 that I would use to set up a dual display screen. They have all two cables to VGA connection, but unfortunately the ultraslim dock has only a VGA port on the back. I tried to plug in the dock and the other to the computer itself, but that has not worked.

    Hello

Please first try the following connection:

1 VGA monitor to the VGA port

    2. the other monitor to the DVI port

The video chip on your computer is not really good for both monitors. You may need to buy a better video card. Specifications:

    Hi John,.

Thanks for posting your question on the Forum of the Microsoft community.

I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to determine the root cause of the problem.

    1. Did you do last changes made on your computer before this problem?

    2. Have you tried to monitor primary as secondary and vice versa?

    3. All device drivers are updated?

After reading your post, I understand that you want to use two monitors with extended view, then you can try the steps in the following Microsoft article and see if it helps.

    Move windows between multiple monitors

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/move-Windows-between-multiple-monitors#1TC=Windows-7

If the problem persists, then pass to the below mentioned method and see if it helps.

    Method 1

If you haven't tried Exchange monitors so I suggest you to try and see if the problem still occurs.

To change the settings of two monitors you can consult the links below:

Change settings display on multiple monitors

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/change-display-settings-on-multiple-monitors

Note: This link is also applicable for Windows 7 .

    Method 2

If the problem persists I suggest you to update the display drivers. As the display drivers for two monitors are not the same, so try to update and check the status.

  • How to set up two monitors with screen LCD and HDTV on computer that is running Windows 7

Issues of identity and position monitor

I use a LCD and an HD TV on my computer. I have HDTV mounted to my left on the wall in my room and the LCD is on my desk in front of me. I have my monitor set as my main screen and HDTV as secondary. Windows identifies the HDTV as monitor 1 and my screen LCD 2. After starting the computer they work very well as they should. My problem is during the boot process. When the computer starts, it displays only the boot screen/POST on monitor 1 (HDTV) but not my main screen #2 (LCD). This is a problem when I don't have my HDTV now, I don't see the MESSAGE options. I don't want to always have my HDTV and crane my neck every time I need to change the BIOS settings or use the MESSAGE options. Is there any solution for this?

    Hi Darth Polizei,

I hope that's not redundant but did you try to set your monitor 19 "as the main display?

    1. In the screen resolution window, you click the icon of the monitor that represents the secondary monitor.
    2. You click to select the "Make my main screen" check box, and then click OK.
    3. You log out of the computer.
    4. You log on to the computer.

    Please let us know.

    1. do I need 2 x HDMI monitors? A DP HDMI monitor to use with different socket or adapter as well?  If you do not already have the monitors, I definitel would get both of them with HDMI connectors.  You will need a DP to HDMI connector:

If you mean the customer of email Windows Live Mail, the time stamp on messages is governed by your time zonesystem. Right-click on the clock in the lower right of the screen and select CONFIGURATION... Change your time zone, and then set your clock at the present time.

If you are talking about the Windows Live Hotmail service, the time zone (s) used are those contained in your account data. Reach
    https://account.live.com/EditProf.aspx
and change the time zones for the good...

Windows Live programs and services have their own forums for support at the Windows Live Solution Center. Please address any questions you may have about Windows Live Mail to one of the forums on the right side of this page. For Hotmail, forums and responses are available via this page.

I'm trying to set up two monitors on my computer. Currently, I use XP. I have two monitors showing the same on both. I would like to be able to use the second screen to only email or a spreadsheet. Surely I'm missing some instruction. I use two monitors with a VGA splitter.

I'm sure that when you use a separator, you won't be able to use the extended desktop mode.

How can I Cancel two step for my email account security code?

Now, to see if you can always reactivate this account, the only thing you can do is:

    • Go to Hotmail and try to connect with it.

    • If you can, then you have this back.

That's how Hotmail determines if or not someone really changes their minds when they disabled or abandoned an account. All you really need to do is log in there, using the web interface, and if she comes back, fantastic.

    If the connection fails

If you cannot (in other words, if the connection fails), this means that one of two things:

    • One, the account itself is really deleted - and there is no e-mail address of the same name

    • Or it means that the e-mail address was finally released, so that it can be reused by other people and someone else took.

Now, the only way to determine whether or not this is the case is here:

    • Try and create a new Hotmail account with the old email address. If it works, you're back in business.

    • If it fails, I don't know how to get this email address.

As I said, it could very well have been reassigned to someone new who came and chose as their new email address on Hotmail.
