Referring to already install modules or libraries

I've created a few default classes in a library which I want to share between applications that I will send down to the devices of the users. What is the best way to refer to these classes without the need to have the current draft / making a person dependent on your current desktop in the JDE? If I try and import the latter with them being present on the desktop, of course, I get an error when I try to compile.

I do this in the JDE, I think that there is a similar approach Eclipse.

Create the jar in your library file.  Then, in all projects that want to use this shared library, reference the jar in the project build properties.  To do this, right mouse on the project, select Properties, then the tab generate and add the jar in the form of imported jar file.

Now you can import things from this pot and use the library without using the JDE dependency thing.  And you can move the jar to practice anywhere.  A PC can update the shared library, another can compile using, as long as the pot.

Of course as soon as you start testing, you will need the cod in the Simulator or device.

This method also isolates the application of changes in the jar, as long as reference you the real cod on the device has of the methods, it will work.  You can do this and have a subsequent generation of the library on the device that is used when the application was created, and it will still work OK.

  • Manager add-on said Java needs update, but the last Version already installed

I have Java version SE7 U51 10.51.2.13 installed and works very well. Today, I 'upgraded' to 28.0 FF. Now Manager modules says Java is out of date, but when I go to the Java website, this is the latest version available. I downloaded the 32-bit and 64-bit versions in any case (even if I had already installed a month ago) and re-installed both. The FF Add-ons Manager always has the same caveat: "vulnerable species - Update now! Page Test in Java says I have the latest version, and it works.

    So what the devil?

You can find the latest version of Java on Oracle's Web site.

See the Platform Java > Java SE 8 (download the JRE 8)

More quick is always download the full installer and uninstall the current version of Java before installing Java 8 version unless you need to keep the Java cache and downloaded applets.

  • Firefox does not recognize that I have already installed add-ons (guests to install Add - ons I've already installed AND enabled). Why?

Modules, which are updated already installed and running (and have been for awhile), seem to think that they are not added. Looking at my modules in the Tools menu, they are listed as enabled. However, clicking to access their information page on the web (where you can read reviews, and where you initially chose to add them to Firefox), the "Add to firefox" button is available. (As opposed to some kind of "already installed" or button "Uninstall" or "Reinstall") I tried the button to see if pressing him THEN told me 'you have this', but it does not! He started to download the plug-in, I already have! What is going on?

Hello Amsuko, the "+ add to Firefox" button on addons.mozilla.org and similar sites is just a normal static element on the website. Web sites do not have the ability to query what extensions a user has already installed (it would probably be considered as a violation of privacy / security). When you install an add-on that is already present on your system, it will simply not be replaced...

  • Problem installing module time real LabVIEW 2011 SP1

Whenever the part of initialization, this message appears: "NEITHER Labview 2011 SP1 32-nit must be installed before installing the OR labview 2011 SP1 real-time Module.» I'm sure that I've already installed Labview 2011 32-bit SP1 and it works well. I use a Windows7 OS and also have Labview 2010 and an older version of Labview 2010 RT module installed. • DSC 8.5.1 incompatible with already installed products

I try to install DSC 8.5.1 on a Windows XP with LabVIEW 8.5.1 system and already installed 8.6.1. When I try to install the DSC module, the installer tells me that the module will not install because "this function is incompatible with the products already installed on the computer." Can someone tell me what products are not compatible with the DSC module?

    Thank you.

    Chuck

    Hello Chuck,

I am happy that it worked. Seems it as LabVIEW 8.6.1 the incompatible product installer complained. In order to install the DSC to LabVIEW 8.6.1, module you will need to install DSC 8.6.1, as the module and LabVIEW version must match.

  • IE8_Windows automatic update when IE8 is already installed

original title: automatic update anomaly IE8_Windows

Windows Auto Update on my laptop under Windows XP Sp3, just downloaded and prompted me to install "Internet Explorer 8 for Windows XP".  However, I'm already under IE8 (8.0.6001.18702 worm).

The update is not called an "update for IE8" and its accompanying info explains the benefits for me to install IE8.

In addition, there is a link in the details area of this automatic update that goes to a website showing "we're sorry, the requested page is not found.

Is this just a problem in the Windows automatic updates, in fact just an update to my already installed IE8 or something more sinister?

    Appreciate your advice

    In no order given...

1 automatic updates will not offer all other updates as long as there are one or more updates in the queue (for example, IE8).

    2. in my previous answer, hide (optional, non-security update) KB951847, the HID Driver (generically identified as KB 911895) and IE8update.

TIP: If you have not already run the troubleshooter automated in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058 & restarted, you may need to do if after you hide these updates.

    3. http://windowsteamblog.com/ie/b/ie/archive/2011/12/15/ie-to-start-automatic-upgrades-across-windows-xp-windows-vista-and-windows-7.aspx refers to IE8 in WinXP and IE9 in Vista & Win7.

    4. as far as I know there is no current, yet available AV app version (free or otherwise, including Avast and Avira AntiVir) which would be like 'light' on your Windows XP system as a bit outdated-yet-still-supported by AVG Free v9.

Comment: A casual survey on the malware removal forums will show you that the vast majority of infected systems are running AVG Free (any version) - followed closely by ISP-freebies McAfee Security Center & Norton Security Suite. Think about it...

  • My Firefox accepts no new extra, he continues to ask for permission to install them when they are already installed, what should I do?

The reason why I use Firefox is the ability to be customized, since I use it, I want to my favorite characters and extensions, such as tools or dictionarys bars, but recently, without realizing why, whenever I start a new session in Windows XP, and for the first time I start Firefox, he asks permission to install options that are already installed. I have already uninstalled Firefox, deleted my old profile and re-installed all extensions try to solve the problem, but he persists, Firefox only correctly starts with all the extras disabled, which is very annoying because I allow facilities and restart, or in case the options are disabled, enable them, and restart Firefox. Can you help me fix this please? Sorry, but if you don't I'll have to go back to IE...

I took some time, but finally I solved the problem. (Mostly because I had no time to do it before)
I noticed that my AV has an anti-phishing toolbar that Firefox cannot remove, (she isn't just having 'remove' button in the Add-ons Manager), I am suspicious of this kind of behavior and decided to uninstall the AV.
Fortunately, it has solved the problem and allows us to conclude that it was a problem of incompatibility caused by the toolbar of the VA.
Thank you for your valuable help!

  • FAQ (25): SDM offers to install SoftPaqs that are already installed.

SDM is based on SSM-compliance to detect the version of already installed SoftPaqs. Needless to say that, if there are errors in the file CVA SSM-compliance then SDM may not report the State installed the affected SoftPaqs. This will manifest itself as one of the following:

    1. A reported SoftPaq not installed over and over again.
    2. A reported SoftPaq having himself as the update.

Note: given that SDM installs the SoftPaqs silently (no dialog boxes with all default values) accepted, any error messages that hint at what the problem might be also will not appear. In this case, try to install the SoftPaq manually in folllwing instructions on this post:

Important note: in some cases, a reboot is required to complete the SoftPaq installation. Before you continue, please restart and rerun the SDM.

If you want confirmation that the a specific SoftPaq may have trouble with SSM-compliance, please send MDS support team, a newspaper SDM of the session after finishing SDM file tries to install the SoftPaq in question and they can do.

However, this only expertise team being with SDM technical issues and not individual SoftPaqs which are released by a completely different entity, they will ask you to declare the SoftPaqs complained to HP support.

Uninstaller will also uninstall IE8, so you'll have to use that to download and install it again I'm afraid. This is because the version of Firefox does not have the ActiveX control that is required to operate the Flash in IE8.
