  I've recently updated (and unfortunately if) to El Capitan and experienced multiple issues, which I'm currently talking with Apple technology. The most recent discovery is that I can not remove many tags applied to a folder of items. I have to delete them individually, and it's a pain because I added more than 100 items in this folder.

  If anyone knows the same thing, please let me and Apple know.

  Inside this folder, select all the files. Right-click on one of the selected files. In the context menu, click tags... Back space all the tags that appear in the text field. Press ENTER. This will remove all tags (including several tags in a file) all selected files.

  Tested: OS X 10.11.4

  Have you tried to select the main tags folder in the left pane of the library and select several or all the tags in the right pane?

  You can remove all of the tags selected via the context menu.

  In my personal folder under the images, I downloaded a lot of pictures.   A few general suggestions first:

  On your new question:

  How the XML is generated?

  When someone asks questions on how to remove nodes from an XML, I always say the best way is to not generate them in the first place.

  That's why the SQL/XML functions are most often the best way to generate specific structures using other facilities 'out-of-the-box' such as DBMS_XMLGEN.

  DELETEXML is obsolete, and anyway this method is useful for deleting nodes.

  XSLT or XQuery is suitable for structural change in this case, although I would look first to get the necessary structure in the first place.

  It is not possible to set the position Y all an answers on slides.

  However, you should not position each answer on each slide separately. You can select all the options response on a slide and distribute vertically in one only once, by clicking on the button split vertically on the alignment toolbar. This will ensure that the options are equidistant. You will need to repeat this task for each slide.

  'searchForTag' can be implemented as a recursive function.

  Recursion is defined as follows: I thought: "I'll just get this forum for"recursion"." The first post I found was one of my own, which suggests that the poster should search the forum for "recursion".

  Here is an example: find the XML element []

  And another: remove the xml using JS [CS3] element (read carefully, as the OP is stuck on how to remove an item and continue successfully)

  And the other using XML rules - which I am quite familiar with, but may work for you: changing values in XML tags

  You can launch the Image Capture.app and import the photos in a folder in the Finder and then import this file into iPhoto.  If you use the transfer of images, you can always remove distributed after importation.

  But in fact, it is not recommended to remove the pictures from the camera before convince you yourself, that the imported photos have been transferred without transmission mistakes and make the first backup. I've seen quite a few posts here, where iPhoto crashed during importation or imported photos have been corrupt and if that happens, you will not be able to resume the transfer, if you let iPhoto delete photos immediately.

  The way you describe it is best practices, and how you should be important, even if the delete after import option was still available.

  For some reason any default folder view changed something I certainly won't.  However, when I go to "Folder Options" to change the display by default, the option "apply to all folders" is grayed out.

• Whenever I have customize a folder in Windows Live Mail, the changes are applied to all files and not only that I specified.

I have 4 email addresses and when I started ' Customize I'm went to SEE, COLUMNS and adjusted to the order of the columns and to check the column or not. If I'm creating the Inbox of course I want 'FROM' but not 'To' as it is me. If I'm creating for "SENT" I want 'TO' but not 'FROM' for similar reasons.
