Renumbering of a group of .jpg files.

I have a group of photos I want to renumber not start at 100 1. For example, I wish they were on day 1 (100) .jpg, Day1 .jpg (101). I work under Windows Vista and cannot get to renumber the day 1 (1) for everything.

Is there a way to do this?

    Hello sara,.

For my part, I prefer to use my German PS in this way (I try to translate the commands):

Use the same height for both images.

Open the first image in PS.

Use Bild > Arbeitsflache (Image > work plan?) See screenshot:

    From there:

Give him the new with, by clicking on the left or the right indicating the hand playing around (trial and error).

Now you can insert your second image.

    1. put the image files you want in the slide show in an album and genre as you want. Follow the Apple document to prepare images for iDVD: iDVD ' 09 (7.x): preparing images for iDVD slideshows

2 - Launch iDVD and select an older theme, not animated.  You can change the background of the theme by dragging the image file of your choice, black or other, in the display pane for the menu.

3 - Click on the button '+' and add a slideshow from the menu.

    4. double click on the sideshow button to enter the mode of construction of the slide show.

    5. in the media pane click the Photos button.

6 - click on iPhoto and find the album you created with selected images.

    7. Select all images in the album and drag to the left in the slide show window.

8 - Select the transition for the slideshow and the time for each slide on screen

9 - follow this workflow to help ensure the best DVD video qualty:

Once the project you want it save it as an image disk via the menu file → save as Disk Image . It will separate from the process of encoding of the burning process.

To check coding mount the disk image, launch a DVD player and read it.  If it plays OK with DVD, encoding is good.

Burn burn to disc with utility disk or toasts to the slowest speed (2 x - 4 x) in order to ensure the best quality.  Always use higher quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are recommended in these forums.

  • Windows 7 continues to write thousands of jpg files on c:\windows\serviceprofiles\networkservice\appdata\local\microsoft\media player\art cache\localmls subdirectory in the form of system files.

Let me describe what is happening. I used the 'get info' in iTunes to add various jpg work at the individual level of CD (i.e. selecting song at the same time) multiple.  ITunes displays the work very well and works very well. Over a period of time, I noticed deterioration in system performance and when I tried to create a disc using CMS Bounceback Ultimate image has noticed that the number of files on my hard drive had increased from 250,000 to about 1 000 000. After much research and a bit of luck, I determined that Windows 7 has written these JPGs repeatedly in the subdirectory cache\localmls of c:\windows\serviceprofiles\networkservice\appdata\local\microsoft\media player\art. These are the same files jpg, I added in iTunes. When I discovered, there are about 700,000 of these small files in this subdirectory in the form of system files which are hidden files. I was able to remove these files first reset file attributes (attrib s h - r *.jpg) and using the del command. Unfortunately, the system continues to write the same files in the same sub and a few hours, I have thousands of these files written again. I checked the system for virus/malware using the latest versions of sophos, malwarebytes, and spy hunter. There is no malware reported by one of these programs.  I also stopped Sophos and tried again but the problem persists. I have also rebuilt iTunes library by following the steps described by Apple, but this does not solve the problem. Any suggestions I can try next?

If not, perhaps, you create a batch file to run at startup or schedule tasks to remove *.jpg files that appear in this folder?

An approximate example of a batch file would be in this sense. It would be created in Notepad but recorded in a .bat file.

    C:
    CD "windows\serviceprofiles\networkservice\appdata\local\microsoft\media player\art cache\localmls".
    DEL *.jpg

    pause

This is only a rough guide and may need a lot of amendments by you that I'm not familiar with batch files, but it shouldn't be too hard to do.  The batch by operating manually or in scheduled tasks file would need administrative privileges or the localmls access permissions set properly for the user.

The problem with P3207532.jpg is that it contains two sets of GPS, a values in the section of EXIF metadata in the XMP metadata section:

    $ exiftool -a -G P3207532.jpg | grep -i gps
[EXIF] GPS Version ID : 2.2.0.0

[EXIF] GPS Altitude Ref : Above Sea Level
[EXIF] GPS Time Stamp : 02:22:26
[EXIF] GPS Map Datum : WGS-84
[EXIF] GPS Date Stamp : 2015:03:20
    [XMP] GPS Date/Time : 2015:03:20 02:18:36Z
[XMP] GPS Version ID : 2.2.0.0

But the XMP section contains an incomplete set GPS fields. Note that XMP:GPSDateTime specifies a time other than EXIF:GPSTimeStamp.

I don't know which of your programs may have created these XMP values false, incomplete, but they confused LR.  According to the specifications of the Working Group of the metadata, which accepted LR, LR, choose the EXIF GPS values and false XMP values should not confuse it. But LR is preferring the XMP values and then conclude it is not all the GPS coordinates.

You can work around this bug in LR by doing:

ExifTool - xmp: gpsdatetime = - xmp: gpsversionid = file

  • How to export layers in jpg files?

    Hello world

I am currently developing a plug-in for Ai CS4, I need to export all the layers in the jpg files. Could someone tell me the API which can help me to do?

or any suggestions how I can do this.

    Thanks in advance.

Well well, the AIRasterizeSuite (AIRasterize.h) will have the tools that allow you to convert sets of art in raster objects in Illustrator. And the AIArtSetSute (AIArtSet.h) has methods that allow you to build the said art defines the content of the layers. From there, you will need to take the contents of the raster objects generated and manually save them in JPEG format.

Oh, just find another which might be what you want. AIImageOptimization.h has methods such as 'AsJPEG', who seem to take a handful of art (which could be the group originally with a layer of the sounds of it). Which would probably leave empty you that in JPG. It uses AIDataFilters well, and I don't know how those who work.

I think that put up before in this forum, so if you do da little research, you might encounter a help better than me. However, it is certainly feasible.
