Repair and Service coverage

One of my friends bought me a 6 new iPhone more in China, I would like to know in this case if the guarantee is covered in China or can be covered in Singapore where to sleep?

To the best of my knowledge, the warranty is only in the country where the original purchase was made.

    There is no exchange of free display.  You will pay is the AppleCare + fresh incident (if you bought AC +), or the elimination of guaranteed replacement costs / costs of replacing the screen.  Your best bet would be to visit the Apple store with a genius bar appointment.

  • Experience with the service coverage in Bulgaria

    Hello

    I am one of the sysadmins of a large international company, which has offices in Sofia. Bulgaria.
    I would like to share my experience with the Toshiba products and service coverage in Bulgaria.

    Months ago, we bought an external USB hard drive - STORE. E PARTNER 2.5 500 GB USB 3.0 P/N PA427E-1HE0. After you have deployed the HARD drive, I noticed that the computer constantly loses / restores the connection to the external drive.

    As I have suggested that the cable is not inserted properly, I just pulled the cable to the USB connector to check that it fits fully into the socket. To my surprise the just USB connector broke and fell inside the HARD drive chassis. In my opinion, this is a factory default, a badly welded connector.

    We talked to the service allowed in Bulgaria: STEMO and they sent the disc with a protocol that it is a physical damage that violates the terms of warranty service.
    I can't imagine a way to prove in this case that we have not jumped on this HARD drive and that's the way it came from the box... We went to buy Hitachi after this case, and I can say that we had not a single complaint of users or technical staff.

    I would like to say that it was really a bad surprise for me that a multinational company could offer this customer service the poor in Bulgaria, especially given a STEMO dealer who are so famous here for their complete lack of quality of service and poor standards.

    This will avoid for sure choose me no matter what other Toshiba products in the future.
    Thank you.

    Sorry to hear about this. It is very unfortunate to have such an experience with the authorized service provider but I n t think that such a negative experience such influence negative on you.
    One issue doesn't mean Toshiba products are bad.

    You know very well that Toshiba is one of the largest companies for HER and material production in general. A few production errors can happen to anyone.

    Problem is that many people don t care much material and very often some hardware components can be damaged very easily. Can you imagine how much money Toshiba or any other hardware manufacturer will fix these issues where everybody says it's lack of production?

    On a path, I can understand you, but otherwise I can understand Toshiba to be skeptical about these mechanical defects. You as an expert in computer SCIENCE know these issues. Can you imagine how you will react when you give your new notebook your co-worker and a few weeks later it brings you with broken keyboard? I don t think you will accept his argument on construction of bad keyboard.

    You know that's not easy to discuss these issues.
    In any case, thank you for your ad. This forum is the right place where people can exchange experiences and opinions.

    Good luck

  • Ram HP 2000-2c10DX service coverage

    The grids on the my service coverage (section RAM / wireless) is broken, I would like to get a new one. When I googled around, there is a certain hp 2000 covers autour, but I couldn't find one for my exact model. They look all pretty similar, so I wonder especially if they are all compatiable. If not, which ones is? And if I have to use a specific, where can I get a hold of it? Seems a rather small article difficulty justifying any real service...

    My unit, as the title suggests, is a 2000-2c10DX hp.

    It does not affect the functionality so far, it is not particularly urgent. But I don't want that he deteoriate yet and may damage the ram chips on the inside

    Hello:

    It seems that he has that one kit of plastic you can order and you must take the two pieces.

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    I'm still having a promblem with my computer. System repair and command prompt still does not. I got a response from Joselbarra, but I can't find the link to meet him. So if you see this here some answers to the questions you asked. My system is microsoft windows XP Edition family version 2002, service pack 3 (although in Add or remove programs there are no size MB next to service pack 3 and all my windows programs).

    I do not have anti virus and have ever since I bought my computer 6 years ago (I know, but I'm paying for it now).

    My /CDDVD player has not worked for about 2 years.

    Windows XP is already installed on my computer when I bought it. The CD only I can find is Microsoft Works 7.

    My problem is that system restore was taking more than an hour to work. Then I disabled my jeanmarie, until it gives me the message that my restore was successful (or not). When I turned it on again it seemed have lost all value files and text processing, user account, microsoft msn password. So I can't access the internet to download anything.

    I tried through the command prompt as Joselbarra suggested. VBScript and jscript regsvr32 succeeded. However I mshtml was not. I had messages that said.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Here are the various ways to reinstall Vista:
    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .
    There is no Vista free download legal available.
    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
    They will tell you how to do this.
    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, Acer, recovery disk/s etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  • processes and services

    I have used the task at the end of the program manager, but is there anything on the process and services, I should be familiar with on my pc. I know that my computer needs to do things in the background with the essentials of firewall and security and of course material has ongoing refreshment stuff, but that's all. Is there a good reliable sources of information out there that doesn't put me to sleep? I know you people have better to do than answering trivial questions like that, I just want to know how much I should know to keep my computer in good health, as the oil in the car and control of fluids and tire pressure.

    I want to thank you again for this part of the website! I found the answer to my last question very informative and useful information. So, Yes, Kudos to those who have developed this sector as well as those who issue responds!

  • Why search can't see no 300 + messages in my Inbox. Repair and indexing have been tried.

    I have over 1000 emails to a special e-mail address over the years and I can only find about 400 with global research. I can sort them in the inbox and sent them by name select and count indicates more than 500 for each but does not not in the cntrl + K search.

    As well as the repair and removal of the index to rebuild file, I deleted both .msf files to rebuild also.

    I will also note that I can not find any messages from before 2004. I think that's the main problem.

    There is no operator or. Or 'quoted text' is included. This is the email quoted in an answer, only the new text is indexed.

    So, the question is the query syntax, not the index is my guess. Try Ctrl + Shift + F as a query tool. He does or.

  • The driver installation of Bootcamp in Windows 10 causing "Automatic repair" and failing to repair

    As the title sums up the problem, here's the rest of the story. I have an iMac 2013 21 "with the latest version of Mac OS x (El Capitan) and also the latest version of the Bootcamp Assistant. I downloaded Windows 10 Pro (free academic version of the University) through the Bootcamp Assistant on a 300 GB partition successfully. Everything seems to work fine until after I download the bootcamp assistant. Then the screen turns black and starts in mode "Auto repair" and fails to actually repair. I then reset it and try again. I tried for more than a week to get to the bottom of this and the problem seems to appear just after I installed the bootcamp drivers.

    So, basically, the computer works well most (without noise, brightness, some functions of the mouse keys, etc.) when I do not install the bootcamp drivers.

    I want to just my apple keyboard and mouse and my sound to work when I'm using Windows. Is there a way to fix the bootcamp drivers? Or can I install some of them individually to avoid having my computer from scratch?

    Please see 10 crashing Windows, but don't know why.

    If you added via the preferences system/users and groups, it should appear as a long time that you have set the display of connection to appear. To do this, go to System Preferences/security and privacy. Then check the check box turn off automatic connection . This should show the login screen at startup. You may need to click the lock (lower-left) icon to unlock the setting to check it out.
