• Windows will work not day after I installed the windows updates.

  The next day, I installed the Windows updates, I turned on my laptop a short Vaio splash screen is displayed and a black screen comes up saying that "Windows couldn't start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. "I don't have the installation disc of Windows that it suggests to use the software is preinstalled.  The safe mode and last known good configuration and the start windows normally get Windows running.  It is simply scrolls a list of code and ends with a line crcdisk.sys, goes to a blue screen for less than a second, then goes to black screen.  All the help I could get to address this issue would be greatly appreciated.

   

  If Safe Mode doesn't work no and you don't have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a startup repair or a system restore:

  Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  If you updated that could trigger it, you can do is to uninstall and avoid installing it by hiding the update in Windows Update.

  Click Start, type: see installed updates
  Press enter on your keyboard
  Look for the update in question, no it click on, then click on uninstall.

  Restart your computer

  Open Windows Update, select the update, right-click and click Hide

  This problem occurs when the agent Windows Update Wups2.dll file is incorrectly registered in the registry. Because registry files that correspond to the Wups2.dll file are missing, update facilities have failed. • I tried to install the window updates that are available to me and they keep for lack of error code 80070641 and now I can't open Windows Mail.

  I start to install updates now for several days and each time that they do not.  Error code 80070641 rises now and I now have problems in Windows Mail.   The update was for the Windows desktop.   When I opened my Windows Mail... error codes are as follows: Socket 10061 error and Error 0x800CCC0E #.

  Minimum information to validate:
  Version of Windows and Service pack level. (Windows XP Home Edition, SP3; Vista Home Premium, SP1; Windows 7 Ultimate, etc...)

  According to the scenario provided it seems that the problem is that you have updated the drivers for the audio device, but you have not updated the application (Dolby Home Theater - perhaps). If you have two choices, update the application to a version more recent or uninstall the installed update which is relevant to the audio driver (through programs and features - updated).

• New installation of Windows 7 Professional 64 bit does not install the Windows updates

  I tried it twice.  I install Windows 7 Professional 64 - bit on a ThinkPad T61.  After installation and activation successful Windows, I tried Windows updates.  The 'check updates' never ends.  After the first installation of Windows, I tried all sorts of bugs found either here or other Windows Help Web sites, does not.  So I reinstalled Windows, but with the same result.

  After that the first installation was impossible to install updates, I received the Windows Update stand-alone Installer and downloaded the stand-alone files for updates.  Would install things like IE updates, but no security update would install, as well as most other updates.  Yet once, just standalone Setup would continue to search for already installed updates without ever ending.

  Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

  For Windows / Microsoft update you can turn off the automatic update as follows:

  Click Start-> Control Panel-> system and security-> Windows Update, and then click the left 'change '.

  Here you can choose what adjustment is made for you.

  For other applications, you will need to check inside the app. Most of the time, you can find the auto-update of the application function in options/preferences in the application or in the Help menu.
