Repetitive cartridge installation messages...

Recently installed my new eprint 6100; I get messages saying again and again my ink cartridges have been installed successfully! How can I stop?

I have the Officejet 6100.  Since writing to you, I found a place where I could disable alets and messages, so I tried in the Tools section.   Should not have to do this well...

    I bought my HP Photosmart Premium C310 directly from HP a little over a year.  I checked the box to have an extra black replacement cartridge included for about $40.  The cartridges that I installed initially are all now empty (it's true, he is not getting used a lot and the original game lasted more than a year).  I put the new cartridge and get the above error message.  After a phone call, it turns out there are two kinds of cartridges, 'installation' and 'normal', and configuration cartridges are accepted the first time the printer is used.  The shipped replacement cartridge I paid $40 for says "setup" on it and it's the cause of the message.

    HP support by phone will not help me as it has been more than a year.  I feel like I got ripped off for $40...  Is there a solution?

    (1) use the menu to restore default settings

    (2) remove all ink cartridges

    (3) remove the both cartridge door.

    (4) turn off the printer and get an error msg saying: you must put in the support and the cartridgers.

    (5) install the cartridges support and installation

    (6) the printer says "thank you for the installation of genuine HP ink cartridges.

    If your PC can't see the printer anymore,

    (7) print the configuration of the printer, get the IP address.

    8) go to the properties of the printer to your computer and to configure the Port to the same IP.

    (9) to display the print jobs and printer (open devices and printers, click the printer), and then click the printer and uncheck use offline.

  • New configuration of the printer without cartridge installation

    I have client of mine recently bought a Photosmart 7520 and had problems of implementation. When I went to check, said naturally printer "Please insert cartridges setup."

    They were told by the geniuses at Best Buy, the printer did not come with ink and bought a full set of inks, which they had put into the machine. of course the machine did not want these.

    They claim that they are not come through a set of cartridges in the box and had already abandoned the package wherever I arrived.

    Whatever the case may be, is there a way to get the printer accepts a regular set of cartridges and to proceed with the installation, so they can get their printer doesn't work?

    Alternatively, it is possible to get a set of cartridges setup somehow?

  • Windows Installer message box keeps popping up

    Get the windows installer message box stating that 'the component you are trying to use is on an unavailable network resource' when I click OK or cancel, another different with the installation package message box appears.  When I try to find the source of the user on the hard drive, I can not find the path.  Cannot install Windows Installer CleanUp because of these boxes.  He thinks that there are other facilities running and asks me to install these first.  Have SP2, run virus check, etc.  Help?

    What seems to be the issue. His are more in there or something like that? If so, check the icon on top of the cartridge, it should be a Hexagon, if you want to mount a "bow tie" it does not, since it is a photocartridge that is not supported by your printer.

    I've just updated to Snow Leopard v. 10.6.7 and downloaded/installed a new driver.  Several times, I get a "Failed print cartridge" message whenever I try to print a page.  I just use a black ink cartridge and let the empty color cartridge slot, which was never a problem before.  I tried to reinstall the driver, restarting the computer, unplug/disconnect the printer, etc but still the same message every time I try to print.

    Have you seen this thread?  You may need to do to get rid of potential conflicts with your old 10.5.8 software HP printer...

    I bought a new officejet pro 8600 more and it was damaged when I mopened the box and started setting up.

    I quickly got back the printer instead of purchase but forgot to give them the facility for theat printer cartridges so they removed the 2nd printer cartridges.

    I came back home and started the program installation process and used again the damaged printer cartridges and now the printer will not put in place, there is the error 'using the original installation of cartridges '.

    Place of purchase is now closed and I need my printer onl; INE ASAP

    I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue. The reason why 'new installation cartridges' give you this error message because the printer think that they have been used. They were on the inside of the other printer and maybe got an error message, and you took it, correct?

    To clear the message, you will need to these of installation, or install cartridges which have not been inside a printer and running supplied with the printer. The printer will not put in place with the 'cartridges setup.
