Replacement of the mouse

I a Touchsmart 320-1150 and had no problems with it at all.  However, my mouse doesn't work properly now, so I need to replace.  I did the cleaning and the recommended stuff, but nothing has worked for me.  Unfortunately, I can't find where the hell it is plugged into the computer.  Dunidar has posted a solution for someone on a broken mouse, with pictures of where to find the doogle (?) for it, but the computer was not the same model as mine.

Would anyone please be able to show me where to look for on my computer?  Any help would be welcome.  Thank you!

I see that the wireless mouse that came with your all-in-one computer does not work, and I would be happy to guide you to a resolution!

The first step I would suggest is to follow this document on the keyboard and wireless mouse troubleshooting. This should help the return of the features to your wireless mouse.

If the problem persists, please follow these steps to replace your USB Dongle:

1. grasp the top of the cover and pull it out of the computer.

2 pull the USB dongle out of the slot.

3. to replace the USB dongle, please insert it upward on the port at the bottom of the back of the computer.

4. replace the cover upwards and fix it up.

    Certainly you would have tried everything underneath, including reinstalling the drivers.  If you did then I think that the device has failed and must be replaced.

    I have spoecifically need to know if it has exactly the same features of the IntelliPoint and know if it will work with the transmitter/receiver provided with the Optical Desktop Pro wireless.  I know that the OM 5000 is provided with its own transmitter/receiver, but I don't want to have more than one on my desk.

    For someone else who has a problem with the IntelliMouse provided as part of the Wireless Optical Desktop Pro (which is a Wireless Intellimouse Ex plorer 2.0 is told by the way), then they may be interested to know that the Wireless Optical Mouse 5000 works very well with the dongle WODP although the pointer speed necessary to decline slightly with one I had.

    This message is displayed because the specified file has an invalid security ID. Each file on a NTFS or FAT volume has security what ID assigned. The ID assigned to the data file does not match the ID assigned to the security data stream file ($SDS). There is a mismatch of Ids. CHKDSK replaced the invalid security ID.

    Black screen with cursor may appear due to corrupted display driver.

    I did a test with a png - 200 x 200 pixel image - I changed the extension: .cur instead of .png, and... it works!

    Captivate recognizes my cursor file! And I have a big hand to simulate on the demonstration of touchscreen!

    I'm on a laptop running Windows 7 starter edition and for some reason any my top line, left of the screen used to hold the file, view, Favorites, history, tools, and help has been replaced by the word Firefox in an orange box with a drop down arrow. Of course, I did something wrong, but I can't find any way to get back to where I was.

    Try to right click with the mouse on the top of firefox and select menu bar... Solved?

  • When using the right button of the mouse Yahoo mail inbox (Firefox 8.0.1, Win 7, Yahoo Mail Plus) the Firefox browser window (backwards, forwards etc.) is on the menu of messaging Yahoo (open, print, etc. answer...). This happens in both Firefox Safe mode

    Make sure that disable or replace context menus is selected.

    Well it s strange. The problem occurs if the joystick is not connected?
    This resembles the function of calibration of joystick or mouse.
    Have you tried to calibrate the joystick?

    Also the same problem occurs if the accupoint mouse trying to calibrate. The mouse cursor moves to 5-10 seconds. Right now you shouldn't t touch the mouse.

    I presume that it s not possible to get only the singles the touchpad buttons, so if you want to replace the buttons, you will need to get the whole touchpad, but before you order parts you should take notice of the ASP.

  • My iMac freezes, but I can still move the mouse

    My iMac (3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, new HDD 4 TB, 12 GB of memory running 10.9.5) freezes randomly just straight up. I can't tell you how or when this happens. There is no model it. I can move the mouse, but click on anything. I am usually under Safari and Firefox when this happens, and I have a few windows/tabs open. I'm also in Word when this happens sometimes. But really, I don't test the limits of this computer so I can't understand why it would freeze upwards. I got it in the store four times and this is my third hard drive. I am currently using about 1 TB or less than my 4 to drive, it's not a question of space. Guys my computer store say it might be a software problem, but I don't see how that nothing is added or downloaded since it began. My old computer died in February, so I got an iMac refurbished with a brand new HD and the new ram. That's when the problems started. I replaced the computer with this one (another refurbished with a brand new HD) and still had the problem. Now I just got a new 4 TB HD hybrid (I love, BTW.) (Very fast), and the problem persists. Any ideas? Thank you. My computer guy say that their only idea is to wipe the drive clean and manually put items on one by one. Sounds expensive and has not guaranteed to solve the problem.
